Pros:We had a roof above our heads on a cold night. Blankets were warm.
Cons:Floors were very dirty, especially the bathroom. The bed arrangement is terrible. They have two twin beds that easily move around so we constantly had a gap between the beds. The sheets didn’t fit around the thin mattress and The edges would fold by your head. You have to wash your own dishes upon leaving (the cleaning people knocked on our door 3 times asking us to leave and let us know). Check out is at 10am which is ridiculously early. the garbage can in the kitchen is a large round bucket and the garbage bag doesn’t even fit. I do not recommend this place, unless it’s your last option. Not a good experience at all. We couldn’t allow our toddler on the floor because we were disgusted to even walk on it barefeet ourselves.
Pros:Clean. Nice hot water.
Cons:WiFi very unstable. Stayed on for only 30 seconds. Repeated messages that there was a problem with the server and/or router. This caused a problem with your reservations. Also one window was cracked and would not open. The other opened only a little so it was very warm and stuffy.
Pros:It was clean, neat, near the highway with easy access to both Reykjavik and out-lying areas, and basically comfortable.
Cons:We could not find a guest laundry, and there was no one to ask except the house keeper who didn't know anything about anything. No extra towels or amenities.
