This tiny coastal community on the Texas Gulf coast is an artistic oasis with lots to offer including scenic beaches, water sports, and natural beauty. Because the city of Rockport (population 5,000) sits on a peninsula with the Aransas and Copano bays in either side, is easily accessible to dozens of coastal and beach attractions such as sport fishing, bird watching, skiing, hiking and swimming. The steady sea breezes help keep a moderate climate year-round and the scenery is breathtaking miles of beaches, barrier island ecology and coastal marshland.
