Once owned by a prominent family , Henry Clay Dodson, , this is one of the most prominent architectural elements of the Historic District. Located across the street from the new entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum which uses the old Knapps Narrows draw bridge, you are only two blocks from the harbor or the shops. Excellent restaurants in the same block and others within St. Michaels add to your stay. We have bikes to explore the many water vistas in the area, and our front porch or sun deck upstairs add to your enjoyment. We pride ourself on the gourmet breakfast served in our formal dining room off of the parlor.
