Built in 1877 and known as the Gables since its early days, the Gables Wine Country Inn is a striking example of High Victorian Gothic Revival architecture. Three Italian marble fireplaces, a spectacular mahogany spiral staircase, and soaring twelve foot ceilings grace her interior while fifteen gables crown the unique keyhole shaped windows of her exterior. Each spacious guestroom has been furnished and decorated to reflect the historical detail found in only the most elegant Victorian mansions. Antique armoires, period artwork, and luxurious goose down bedding grace our quaint but spacious rooms. All guestrooms feature a private bath with an antique claw foot tub. Separate from the main house is William and Mary’s Cottage, a cozy little hideaway an extra large Jacuzzi bathtub, loft queen bed, kitchenette, and wood burning fireplace.A wonderful gourmet breakfast of homemade breads and pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a delicious entrée made from fresh local ingredients awaits you each morning in our lovely dining room.Stretching in all directions around our inn is the charming, diverse oasis of the Sonoma Wine Country.
