The Eliza Thompson House, a regally restored architectural landmark, is one of the oldest bed and breakfast inns in Savannah. Each is tastefully and uniquely furnished with period furniture as well as modern amenities and a private bath.Mornings at the Eliza Thompson House feature a Southern-made breakfast with casserole dishes, freshly baked breads, bacon, eggs, sausage, fruit, juices and coffee--all served in the courtyard, right outside the Carriage House's guestroom doors.Each evening between 5:30-7pm the parlor becomes a place to meet fellow guests and the innkeeper. Homemade hors d'oeuvres, wine, coffee, tea, and soft drinks are served during this reception. Desserts and coffee are served from 8:30-10pm. Southern desserts are featured, using select recipes from some of Savannah's most famous restaurants.Evenings feature turndown service, freshly pressed sheets, and luxuriously soft robes.
