My family and I LOVED this hotel. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast every morning. Free beer and wine from 5pm to 7pm every day. Cookies and milk at night. Great location. Walked (for the heck of it) to old town Scottsdale. Shuttle is available but never used it. Heard many people comment that they loved this hotel. Nice pool.
this hotel is within 3 blocks of old town, and yet it was very peaceful and quiet. There is a nice pool tucked away from the road noise. They have a happy hour with free beer and wine and nachos followed by cookie and milk time before bed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I especially liked the 'split' room with the bedroom and a lounge, both with tvs and a glass door dividing them,a mini fridge and a microwave with plates and plasticware provided. all in all a very nice hotel.
The hotel location was perfect our family lives right down the street. We were close to shopping and were able to attend zoo lights, Fiesta bowl parade and the Buffalo Wild Wings bowl at ASU. Who could ask for more? Ok so warmer weather would have been nice but there was plenty of sunshine. We will be back to stay in a few months ...
We had a great experience at this hotel. The only complaint I had was that even though they said the hotel was newly renovated and there was no smoking anywhere in the hotel, the room was still initially a little stuffy and had what seemed to be a slight stale smoke smell. However that cleared up pretty well after we left the window open for a while after we had arrived. We were very happy with the room. We had two queen beds but there was a section with a pull out couch that was almost like having a second room. There were two tvs. We were able to put the kids to bed in the section with the queen beds, shut the glass doors between and watch tv on the couch. The beds were comfotable, the rooms were clean, the desk was helpful and the pool was heated. We were still able to swim even though we visited in December. The breakfast the next morning was great. It is nice not to have to leave the hotel to get breakfast. The food selection was impressive and included many hot items as well. ...
Poor quality food offers, low grade wine, beer ok, carpets dirty, smelly room like someone has smoked in the room. Daily maid service excellent. Just the Hotel had construction in the hallways which made for a stinky experience, front desk was under construction which made the experience less than great.
Hotel is situated in a great location (off of Earll), minutes away (by car) from N. Scottsdale Rd, Old Town, Fashion Square Mall, etc. Suites are equipped with free internet, a microwave, frig, couch, desk, 2 TVs, 2 phones, and complimentary beer, wine, chips and salsa during the week. A breakfast was included, consists of the following: toast, bagels, english muffins, pastries, hot and cold cereals, eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits, gravy, warm cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt, and hot and cold beverages. A fitness center consists of 2 treadmills and workout weights, outdoor pool and hot tub.
We got a great deal - half off- on this hotel a week before leaving for a family road trip. Having never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, we did not know what to expect- and were very pleasantly surprised! We were just passing through, so did not explore the town or areas near the hotel, but we did greatly enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel on a break from our cross-country drive. It seemed to be well located for easy access to town adventures, we felt safe, and it was in a quiet neighborhood. The desk staff were cheerful and very helpful. The room was large enough and comfortable enough for a family of four, and clean. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying. The highlight was lounging an entire day by the salt water pool- the kids had a great time and the adults got some much needed r&r before getting back in the car for the rest of our journey.
nice location and friendly. Room was comfortable and quite and the pool was very nice I would stay here again
Recently stayed here and was very satisfied! The staff were helpful and hotel is a convenient location from the airport. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was good and replenished frequently! Hotel is great for the price.
We had only 1 issue during our stay - internet was not working for an entire day and a half. This may seem like an insignificant issue to some, but given the fact that I needed the service to work, it was a hassle. I have to give the staff credit, however, they worked diligently to try getting the issue fixed with their IT guys and kept us informed with frequent updates! I was impressed with this, knowing they weren't just sitting on their thumbs waiting for someone else to figure it out. Now on to the positives: The breakfast was amazing - everything you could possibly want; omelette, waffles, cold cereal, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, muffins....it was ALL there and it was delicious! The coffee was better than your typical Starbucks (no, really!#. The evening reception that inlcuded soft drinks, wine, beer, lemonade or coffee PLUS delicious cookies was great for the kids #and kids-at-heart!#. Comfortable beds, clean, clean, clean rooms and pet friendly! Staff was incredibly...
