To sum up, this is a superb hotel, with a character and atmosphere of its own. The style is that of a country house. 09/05 A.DP. The exterior is cream coloured, and the building used to be an old sienese Villa belonging to a noble family of the area. Dark wood shutters surround each window. At the rear is a patio area in the same shape and design as the main 'palio' square in the centre of Siena. The hotel actually has its own chapel, which, though not consecreted has special dispensation to hold wedding ceromonies in. This hotel is set in its own Parkland, a little way out from town a top a small hill from which one can see the spires in the old walled part of the City.
