Tom and Donna Hofmann invite you to share in the warm hospitality in their 1895 home located in the Reedsburg historical district, one block north of the beautifully restored down town across from City Park. Relax on the front porch or in the guest's parlor where you will find games, a player piano, old record player and friendly conversation with other guests or your hosts. Notice the beautiful woodwork, leaded and etched windows, a suitor's window, and unique hardwood floors and original hardware in the home. There are four bedrooms located on the second floor each with queen beds, two with daybeds. The bedrooms all have tray ceilings and ceiling fans. A pot of freshly brewed coffee or tea is outside your bedroom door as you awake in the morning. Donna, a home economist, enjoys preparing special, seasonal breakfasts for her guests. Breakfast includes juice, fruit, a main-dish, meat and breads. In the spring menus feature rhubarb, strawberries, or maybe Morel mushrooms, if Tom is successful in locating them in the woods. In the spring and early summer a guest favorite is Strawberry French Toast. Summertime breakfasts include homegrown raspberries and blueberries, and other seasonal fruits. Fall and winter menus feature apples, cranberries or pumpkin. There are many attractions in the area such as the 400 Bike Trail, located four blocks from Parkview B&B connecting with the Elroy/Sparta Bike Trail. Other bike trails are west of Sparta providing more than one hundred miles of trails. Antique shops, a six-plex movie theatre, and a variety of restaurants and shopping are found in Reedsburg within walking distance of Parkview B&B.
