|Days Inn Downtown St. Louis|
Convenient location. Close to Downtown.
Yes. The bed was so hard, I couldn't sleep comfortable. I woke up several times due to stiffness & soreness in my back. I have never had any back problems until the night I slept in that bed; and I haven't had any since checking out.Nice.
Staff was very friendly
The location was sketchy. Was NOT downtown
Everything. Location was in the ghetto. Room was dirty. Staff was sarcastic and rude. Hotel smelled bad of mildew. Parking lot was unsafe. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I would have left but, I had unfortunately prepaid and it was late at night. I only slept there five hours because the smell was so bad and I was fearful my car would be stolen. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE ELSE. WARN THEM INSTEAD!
It was close to downtown as advertised.
While close to downtown, it was in a warehouse district that did not look or feel secure. While recently renovated, numerous carpet stains had the feel of being unclean.
Rooms were clean, loved the wifi, coffee and breakfast
Elevator was very dirty and smelled awful, hallway carpets were kinda gross. Hotel wasn't far from local sites, but was in remote type of area.Hotel staff was helpful and friendly! The breakfast bar was nice! Rooms were very nice and clean!
The hotel was in the worst area! Homeless people and drug deals were around the area! I was scared to stay there and the room was NASTY! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
The staff was very friendly.
Breakfast was not very goodThe hotel was clean and the staff was nice. It isn't located in the best area of St. Louis but we never worried about safety. It's relatively close to the Arch and Luminere Casino but not within walking distance. It is within a short drive to 2 great places to eat The Crown Candy Company and Smokie O's BBQ. We enjoyed our trip on the whole.
That was close to downtown area
The staff was horrible, I called the hotel to book and no answer, dropped by the hotel nobody at the desk the bell going on and off for at least 5 minutes the attendant was rude and kept going back into the back room. No sense of urgencyLet' start with the staff not even being present at the desk to receive guest. After walking back and forth the alarm sensor so the bell can go off and let the staff know that someome is requesting their servie!!!!! For over 5 minutes the only staff member on duty was sleeping in the back room the entire time he did not want to give me government rate to begin with because he said it didn not apply over the Memorial day weekend that they had different rates so since his rate was $20 different from what priceline was giving me online I stood at the front desk and book the room while he went to the back room to sleep or whatever he was doing once again this time it took him 13 minutes...
The price was good, but that was the only thing good about the hotel.
When we first entered the room it smelled like marijuana. The carpets were filthy and the furniture and walls looked liked they haven't been changed or cleaned in years. I also had scammers call the room and tried to solicit my credit card info.
I actually ended up cancelling and re booking elsewhere because the location was less than safe and they would not agree with my nonsmoking reservation
