Town Hall Lodge, our Swanage B&B was built in 1856 as the first Police Station in Swanage with two cells where we now sleep. Constructed of Purbeck Stone it stands behind the Town Hall in Swanage with a cobbled courtyard between the two buildings.
Town Hall Lodge is now a recently converted and furbished contemporary B&B with four rooms of guest accommodation on the upper floor. Our location gives you easy access to the Steam Railway, Bus and Taxi stations and a couple of minutes stroll to the sea with beach, pier, diving, fishing sailing all available. the coastal path and Durlston Coutry Park are just up over the hill from us offering great views, with birds and the occasional dolphin to watch.
