This delightful listed Somerset longhouse dates back to the 15th Century and is situated at the end of a no through road in the beautiful, tranquil Somerset countryside with an abundance of wildlife. Situated only 5.5 miles from the M5 motorway, 6 miles from the county town of Taunton and approximately 20 miles from both the north and south coast makes it the perfect setting for either business or pleasure.The house has been tastefully restored to a high standard, retaining the character of the house with its beamed ceilings, fine Jacobean panelling and open fireplaces; during winter guests can curl up by the log fire or in the summer enjoy the beautiful secluded gardens. the rooms are bursting with character and just enough modern touches including free sky TV and free WiFi.Breakfast is included in the price but if you feel like an evening meal, we offer a selection of 2 or 3 course meals upon request.Fancy a night out 600 guests in 2010 dined out at our local pub, and all came back saying what lovely food and atmosphere.You will be amazed at the sheer number and diversity of attractions in Somerset!
