An excellent power shower in the en-suite bathroom plus complementary toiletries and luxury towels, allow luxury pampering. Both of our rooms are well equipped, and decorated with traditional pine furniture. We are conveniently situated on the A386 Okehampton-Tavistock road, in the village of Mary Tavy. Using Homeleigh as a base, you can explore Cornwall and Devon, or take advantage of the many leisure amenities that are locally available, beautiful walks, cycling routes (National Cycle Route 27), rivers, gorges and lakes, medieval history, fishing, golf, excellent restaurants and country pubs.The historic market town of Tavistock is just 5 minutes away, with its fabulous pannier and farmers' market as well as many independent boutiques, gift, and antique shops as well as many fine restaurants.Head across the moorland towards Okehampton, or visit the natural waterfalls at Lydford Gorge, before heading to the north Devon and north Cornwall coastline. Alternatively head south to the famous maritime port of Plymouth, 30 minutes by car, or explore the coast of south Devon and Cornwall. The cathedral city of Exeter is a mere 45 minutes by car.
