Pros (+) We stayed at Red Tussock for two nights in January, when the wind and rain rolled in. The motel was nice, friendly, and comfortable. Paul, the innkeeper, is a really cool guy, very warm and welcoming. We liked the walk along the lakeside to the central restaurant area, maybe 12-18 minutes. It was a nice walk home after dinner.
Cons (-) Less mobile guests might prefer to stay closer to restaurants. We didn't mind the walk!
