Car Rental

Although there is car rental information on the 1st floor arrivals area of Terminals 1 and 2, driving and parking in Tokyo are often difficult. You may want to consider one of the public transportation options to get to and from the Haneda airport, as well as getting around Tokyo.

Public/Ground Transfer

There are two types of trains that can get you to and from Tokyo. One is the Tokyo Monorail and it has stops on the ground floors of both Terminals 1 and 2. The monorail goes directly to Hamamatsucho Station in about 20 minutes and costs around 620 Yen (around $5 US dollars). The Keikyu Railways train station is in between the two terminals and will take you to Shinagawa Station in about 20 minutes at 560 Yen (around $4.60).

Airport Shuttles

There is a bus service at Tokyo Haneda Airport called Airport Limousine that will take you into downtown Tokyo and to several of the most popular hotels. Airport Limousine has reservation centers on the 1st floor arrivals areas of Terminals 1 and 2. These can also be booked as charter buses. For more information and rates, check

Limousine Services

As with any other major city, if you're looking for a more luxurious ride to and from the airport, there are limousine services available. These services are usually booked in advance and you'll pay a fixed rate, be greeted at the airport by your driver and taken directly to wherever you wish to go.

Taxi Services

There are taxis stands outside on the 1st floor arrivals area of each terminal, including the International Terminal. Though convenient, taxis in Japan can get expensive. Ask about the fare before making the trip. If you're going to a popular destination in Tokyo, you may find the Airport Limousine buses more economical and convenient.
