Pros (+) Great place to stay for a visit to Acadia. I've stayed at three different inns both on and around Mount Desert Island, and this is the nicest one I've stayed at of the three. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, check-in was easy, and overall I thought it was a great value. Would definitely stay again!

Pros (+) The price was the draw, and we had a suite upstairs that was very quiet. It included TV, microwave, fridge and was comfortable. We had A/C and the bath was tiny, but very clean and adequate. We were surprised to find freshly baked muffins (delicious) and a basket of fruit in the morning. The owner was delightful and friendly. For the price it was perfect for us. Cons (-) No good way to enjoy breakfast in the room. We brought yogurt, fruit and rolls and had to balance them on our laps on a sofa. Could have used paper towels or a 'bar cloth' around the coffee maker for spills.
