One of the most iconic motels on historic Route 66, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Blue Swallow has been serving travelers along The Mother Road since 1942. The motel still features it's unique "motor court" style, with garages attached to the rooms. Those rooms have been restored, complete with period furnishings, decor, light fixtures, tilework, and even working rotary-dial telephones. When the sun goes down, the Blue Swallow is ablaze with light from it's neon display, with large neon sign, lighted swallows, and neon fountain.
Spend a magical night at the Blue Swallow. Settle into a comfortable chair in the courtyard, relax under the glow of the neon lights, meet fellow travelers and make new friends. Experience an authentic travel experience straight out of the 40's and 50's that gives you a real feeling of what it was like to travel across the Southwestern US on Route 66.
