Located in northeast Mississippi between Natchez and Nashville, TN, Tupelo is located along the historic Natchez Trace Parkway. Undoubtedly, its most famous tourist attraction is the birthplace of Elvis Presley consisting of a park, museum, and the two-room home he was born in. Tourists who are interested in the area's history can visit the Oren Dunn City Museum and car buffs will want to check out the Tupelo Automobile Museum with over one-hundred classic antique cars. The Tupelo Veterans Museum has thousands of interesting artifacts from World War II and the kids are sure to enjoy the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo where they can feed a buffalo, ride a living pony carrousel, and see some of the other exotic animals there.
