Opened between 1852 and 1854 the original buildings have been completely renovated and individually decorated. Three of the buildings (circa 1852-1854) at Vichy Springs Resort are the oldest standing structures in Mendocino County. The baths are backdropped by a five million-year old travertine/onyx grotto formed around the spring. Vichy has 700 acres for your walking and hiking pleasure. Close by are the largest trees in the world (redwoods), lakes and rivers, 35 wineries, 2 brandy distilleries, 3 museums, Ukiah and its restaurants and 2 microbreweries.
