When we got there, we entered and were pleasantly surprised with a suite, 2 bed rooms, living room with dining table, kitchen, and a couple of bathrooms. We were only expecting 2 bedrooms. View was fantastic.
The constant rain.
The staff was very friendly. They went out of there way to help us with booking tours, answering questions, etc.
The hotel does need updating. But the value for the price we paid was great.
Close to everything in the downtown area. Was walking distance to just about everything which was nice since we didn't rent a car. Room was clean, comfortable and fairly large in my opinion. A plus was they have free use of some bikes to sign out. They are first come first served.
No pool, just a large jacuzzi. The beds were listed as queen size, but seemed smaller. Not sure if sizes are different between Canada & U.S. Note the mattresses were extra firm, but surprisingly we found they were actually comfortable!
The room was hot and stuffy, but all I needed was bed to rest my head on located downtown, so it was good enough for me!
Hot and stuffy room! No a/c
Hotel was old, loud, not as advertised. Overpriced for how run down it was. Not a very good neighborhood.
Clean. Breakfast was good for the price. Concierge was helpful.
Kayak.com: description of bed double vs queen was not clear, Restaurant/ wine bar closed bc under construction and not stated on site. If i wasnt meeting up w family who had a car it would have been inconvenient to find meals. A/c in room was loud so drowned out the high traffic location of the hotel. Smaller room than anticipated-- crowded feeling. Housekeeping did not refresh room the day before i was scheduled to check out.
The rooms were nice for the price. Very impressed for the money at the quality. There is a jacuzzi on the top floor. We were usually the only ones there. Friendly hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly Parking garage for $10 a day. Close to most everything in downtown Vancouver. Hit the bars all within walking distance.
The pillows were kind of uncomfortable. Room can get a little stuffy (but crack a window and it's perfect) Was sort of hard to find or an out of towner.
location close to downtown. parking was cheap
the beds were small and not very comfortable. There was a stain on the head rest above the bed it was gross
The room was very clean and unique. It had a unique shape to the room and the bed was very comfortable. the hotel is close to the water and the ferry to Granville Island as well as parks. Our little dog was welcomed and there are parks within easy walking distance to walk the dog too! Breakfast buffet was delicious and we enjoyed the very friendly staff.
Price for location
The location is great; just a few blocks from Granville Island and a short drive from the city center of downtown.
The beds were not very comfortable. We dropped something behind the bed and the carpet underneath looked like it had never been cleaned. There was dust in the corners of the carpet. The staff was not very helpful when it came to finding directions. There are condos above the balcony level which really hampered our attempt to enjoy it.
Location was very good, downtown walking distance and granville ferries were close by.
Air condition was noisy. Hot tub was warm tub!! water was not hot at all Carpets not very clean.
We arrived late in the evening with our two teenage sons. The staff on duty were very friendly and very accommodating! The room they put us in was a two bedroom with kitchen! It was so nice to have this as our first night on vacation! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!
Good Value Friendly Staff
