This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff was friendly, the room was great, and the breakfast bar was fantastic. This will be our hotel every time we come back to the Philadelphia area to visit friends.

Pros (+) Embassy Suites is a great location for visiting a number of colleges in the area. The staff is warm and welcoming, the nightly cocktails and "nibblies"are welcome after long days. The breakfast is outstanding. My favorite part is that if you are traveling with kids, you have 2 rooms. It's nice to have a buffer when you have been together all day.
Cons (-) The hotel is older, a bit worse for wear. Some corners of the tub were grey, fixtures a bit rusty. The most frustrating part of our trip was that the internet and cable were not working well. We only got a few sports channels and no news channels at all. To compound the problem, this internet was very very slow... so no streaming of anything. This was not the case last time I stayed there, so perh...
