It was around this time that King George III chose Weymouth as his summer residence and to all intent and purpose became its first famous tourist. He stayed at his brother's house, the future King George IV a little further along the Esplanade from us. The Concorde Hotel has probably been used as a hotel since Victorian times.Families, school parties, ferry passengers, contractors, and holiday makers are all welcome.
