It was a pretty hotel with a big lobby and wonderful breakfast. Room was a bit small for our 4 night stay and bunkbed ladder was in the way a lot. We did hang out in the lobby one day when one of our family had some work to do. We were constantly moving it around. A little further from town than we wanted but still a good location. No daily housekeeping, we got fresh towels when we asked though. We enjoyed our stay but kind of wished we’d stayed 2 nights there and 2 nights closer to Glacier National Park. It was a lot of driving back and forth. Would stay there again!

Pros:Staying at the Duck Inn is like staying with friends you hadn't met yet. The three owners are the staff and they are friendly and warm and helpful without being intrusive. The breakfasts are good and cooked to order, and the rooms are cozy, many of them overlooking the river the inn sits on.
Cons:The room heated up quickly on a cool night, but stayed hotter than expected. Cracking open a window fixed that, though.

Pros:There was nothing we didn't like! My husband and I used the Inn as our homebase while visiting our family. Joey and his wife were wonderful hosts. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was a nice surprise ... Not only bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, juice and coffee, we were treated to homemade breakfast cake and make your own waffles. The views from our room and from the welcoming lounge are lovely! We definitely recommend the Duck Inn Lodge, which is centrally located to downtown Whitefish, as the place to stay when you need a Home away from Home!

Pros:Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The breakfast in the morning was great!
Cons:The bed was a little stiff and slightly uncomfortable.

Pros:The entire experience was fantastic! I enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the Whitefish River gurgling outside my window.
Cons:The wireless network was too weak to use. I had my own hotspot, which worked fine.
