Top tips for finding cheap flights to Cameroon

  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Cameroon flight deals.
  • British citizens will need to get a visa before they arrive into Cameroon. This must be applied for before you travel, as there is no visa-on-arrival service. You also need to make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months from the date that you enter Cameroon.
  • If you are flying to Cameroon to visit Lac Ossa Wildlife Reserve, you should fly to Douala International Airport (DLA), which is located conveniently nearby to the park. For example, you can get to the reserve in about 1 h 45 min by car from DLA Airport.
  • If you’re travelling to Cameroon to take part in the religious Tabaski festival, which takes place at a different time each year, then you should be aware that flights are likely to increase around this time period. If you are not travelling for this reason, then you should book around this festival.
  • Douala Airport (DLA) is well-placed if you are visiting a range of coastal towns. For example, from the terminal building you can drive to Limbe in about 2 hours, Dikolo in around 2 h 10 min and Batoke in approximately 2 h 20 min.
  • If you plan to hire a car from the airport in Cameroon once you land, then you need to make sure that you are up-to-date with the rules of the road before you depart. For example, both driver and passengers must wear seat belts in the vehicle. Whilst there are no rules for children to be in child seats, it’s highly recommended that you have a suitable seat restraint for young children.
  • If you are a Business Class passenger, you can take advantage of the Priority check-in and security offered by certain airlines. For example, Brussels Airlines and RwandAir both have fast-track services available at Heathrow Airport (LHR) for Business Class passengers, so you will have more time to enjoy the amenities at the airport.
  • If you are departing from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) then you can save time by using the Reserve and Collect service that allows you to do your duty free shopping online before you get to the airport. Once you arrive, you can then collect your items and enjoy other amenities in departures before you take-off.
  • Flights to Cameroon are likely to be more expensive for certain annual festivals. For example, the Festival National des Arts et de la Culture (FENAC), which takes place in December is popular for its lively parades and colourful music. If you don’t plan to visit the country for this reason, then you should avoid travelling during these dates.

Flight delayed by 3 hours 45 mins and no explanation given or apology. Rebooked on a flight departing to final destination 48 hrs later and baggage not delivered.

My outbound flight was grounded in Lusaka so we never made it to Paris. DO NOT fly this airline you will be stranded and your plans will be completely disrupted

Inflight entertainment with electronic charging stations can help during a long flight.

The flight was delayed with no notice. No inflight entertainment. Communication is vital in any business.

Poor communication: Flight come directly to kigali , didn’t come via mumbasa. Favouring to Rwandan passenger to move from economic to bussiness class after flight depart. Where they don’t asked other older passenger who need more comfort. Rude staff : chekin airport at Mumbai. Talking in local language (marathi) while serving and no sorry no thank you attitude.

Pros: "Seat reclining was good. Fleece blankets were warm"
Cons: "Blankets had a really bad smell Food options were very limited - even bread was eggless"
Pros: "Helpful friendly crew, reasonable ticket prices."
Cons: "Luggage was delayed by 24 hours, customer service desk in Johannesburg EXTREMELY helpful, in Kigali they were clueless. Transit area very crowded, humid and stuffy."

Old cabine without flat bed in business for a 12 hour flight is not acceptable

Excellent apart from transport to actual plane 10 minutes from the actual gate , walking out in the tarmac in the rain and having to climb stairs to enter while holding luggage.

They wanted to close counter although they did not provide the wheelchair requested which ended by going alone to transit security and lost long time and they did not want to wait .

They charge me for luggage which is was included on the ticket

Business class in the second leg - CDG-EVN was a disaster.

Everything went smoothly with Air France. There was a delay in departure which seemed to relate to the immigration services being short staffed.

Food could have been better especially the breakfast. Overall it was a good flight

We transited through Chad and what was supposed to be a 1hr 20 minutes transit time lasted over 4hrs. We didn't get regular updates until we complained. After a 10hr flight from Paris no form of refreshment given and finally arrived Abuja over 6hrs later and none of my bags came

Lost luggage, 2 bags were badly damaged and one of the bags came open.

A couple of minor delays in boarding but very professional and efficient staff.

It was a nightmare. I booked business class ticket from Ediburgh to Beirut via Istanbul to attend a funeral. I had a wonderful experience flying to Istanbul from Edinburgh. Then I could not get a boarding pass issued to Beirut. It seems that although they booked me and I had a reservation number, I had no seat allocated and the flight was full. I was asked to go from one desk to another and made to wait for 2 hours. I missed my flight as I did not have a seat assigned and it was full. The only option was to put me on the next flight, 6 hours later, for a fee of over $400. They said that was the best they can do to 'help me' and to 'take it or leave it'. Well, I was not about to be bullied; I stood my ground. I booked and paid premium for the journey, which was confirmed. The eventually accepted to not charge me extra and i waited a total of over 8 hours in the airport with no compensation. On top of my grief with the risk of missing the funeral service, I had to put up with their indifference and condescending attitude. They spoke about me in Turkish thinking I would not understand (I hold a British passport) in front of me. When they eventually handed my passport and boarding pass back to me, I showed them I was born in Istanbul and that I understood everything and said a condescending 'thank you' back to them in Turkish. You should have seen their faces. I said that consumers have rights and it is a shame that Turkish Airlines does not have good customer service to at least acknowledge and apologize for errors committed by the airline. Blaming the me, the client, for such an error and placing unreasonable ultimatums, rudeness and dismissiveness to be rid of me, particularly when I was vulnerable and visibly grieving was really shocking... The airline taints the city of Istanbul and the people of Türkiye. Such a shame.

The flight was very dirty and the food was very bad

I paid for reserved seats but didn't got them at all

Turkish airline always good Only Turkish representatives at the gave need to be more helpfull to any staff who traveling on Turkish airline . One situation happened Ist to jfk on Feb 29 TK3 had seats I asked them to transfer me to tk3 because Feb 29 tk1 was oversold and they advise me that I might not make it for tk1 I asked them to transfer me to tk3 and they say no they can’t do it I been telling them you know that I don’t have a chance for tk 1 why would you let plane go with some empty seats on tk3 if you can transfer me to tk3 and have less staff on tk1 and still told me no I waited for tk1 9 hours and only last minute I got seat on tk1 It was not easy situation but I am glad I made it home Thank you Turkish Airline One more suggestion for Turkish Airline you need to make a FIRST CLASS cabin it would be so cool 🆒 Good luck all the best See you more

Service was superb and the flight experience overall was great

First class payment but wife’s seat broken, would recline but not lay flat. On previous flight, delays and ground crew malfunctions connecting jetway made us miss flight to Houston. I asked twice for a cart to assist us getting across the massive Istanbul Airport, but was denied. We are both over 70.

A good airline, but at checking in, they allocated seats for my wife, and I far away from each other, and to change them, they wanted a payment, such a bad policy, it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth All was good on the plane, good food, but the air hostess was abrupt and a bit rough dealing with the passengers, but one has to find excuses for staff working under pressure

Flight canceled and then “uncanceled” after I booked are placement. I had to pay for both a Turkish Air doesn’t admit their mistake

Istanbul to Miami Sector the plane was nice and clean except for no WiFi during the entire flight. The flight from Karachi to Istanbul was another story .The sad part is we paid for business class to be comfortable. The foot rest didn’t work. The flight attendant had to push the seat to put to recline position and/or put it back. This was not only for me but for other passengers in business class. The tray table would not come out so had to get help from the passenger sitting next to me. I understand that they may have to use old planes but Turkish Airlines have to make sure that the things are functional especially the duration of flight is six hours and they are charging a lot of money. It seemed that i was flying a domestic sector instead of an international flight.

Our itinerary was broken apart by ChatDeal and let off our luggage from Turkey to Greece!! When contacted by this prior to our departure, I was informed it was my fault...I had to pay for checked bags, in middle of our trip! Turkish Airlines is not to blame for my distain of the ChatDeal interaction. COMPLETELY UNSAT!!

I missed my connecting flight due to long lines at security and immigration. Need improvements

Been flying on various airlines, all over the world, for 50+ years. The food on Brussels Air was easily the worst I ever endured.

Boarding time was a bit slow causing the flight to not leave right at 5 pm,but other than that it was fine.

I have traveled to probably over a hundred locations worldwide, but had only one mixup of airport in Shanghai. Until Iceland and Stockholm. Reykjavik has 2 airports, Stockholm 4 (!). Please indicate clearly when a departure flight is scheduled from an aiport other than the international aiport. That would greatly reduce stress. Thanks

in the front - higher class of business - sitting in the same seat (with one empty in the middle) is not acceptable any more. need the business class to be as we paid for.

More than one hour detail with no explanation and no compensation

my husband's monitor did not work. there was a visibly ill family in my husband's row.

we had to unexpectedly check a bag, the flight was late getting in

Pros: "The crew are doing amazing job and making sure we all stay safe."
Cons: "What could have been better is us; the travelers/passengers. We need to follow every protocol and or precess or procedure put in place by our government and the airlines. United Airline is doing great job keeping us safe while we travel."
Pros: "UP TO THE MARK I EXPECTED"
Cons: "A PILLOW WOULD BE GOOD, MAKING THE FLIGHT MORE COMFORTABLE"

Pretty good flights! If they can let y u s know regarding delays by announcing it in the PA system it would be a good business practice!

3 hours late, came at my final destination without any of my luggage.

Really was disappointed in flying in business class starting from lounge which was the worst lounge every Flight almost 6 hours flight the airplane is sooooooo old not comfortable at all food was awful no tv seats was uncomfortable can’t even charge your phone to play any entertainment

Adequate. Served our purpose of getting there safely. Nothing to rave about. Decent value for the amount paid

Old planes that are not being maintained with at least basic cleaning. Plane smells awful, bathrooms not cleaned either. Very uncomfortable chair. Customer service probably one of the worst I have experienced. The AC dis not work, kept us on the plane for over an hour with no water and air condition

I lost my connection flight from Casablanca to Marrakech because we arrived late to Casablanca. I had to rent a car to continue my trip . I need refunds

Bad service in la RAM from beginning to end. The crew ladies are impolite and rude and insensitive to passengers requests. I do not recommend traveling with Royal Air Maroc (La RAM) - worst service.

Old aircraft with a terrible business class setup and poor connection experience in Casablanca. Strongly suggest you pay a bit more and fly a different airline.

when we ask for water or any help nobody care.. they are too arrogant

Pros: "I liked nothing about this airline. Lucky I am life… Just when we took off , the pilot announced an engine failure, we returned to Marrakech airport waiting for information instead we were walked around the another from gate to gate, yet still no information. At 3:30 PM we were told that there is no flight that day. They put us in hotel at 8:30 PM. I am at the hotel at this time without information regarding the next flight . This is the worst airline I ever used in my life, not even some sort of customer service."
Cons: "Expel ROYAL AIR MAROC from your list of offers Punish them for treating travelers like garbage. I expect a refund from the price I paid"
