Pros:Nothing. Norwegian Air didn't even give us the chance to like anything about them.
Cons:We arrived at the airport running a bit late due to a holiday change in public transportation schedules. No problem, though, we were keeping a close eye on the time and were confident we could still get through security and to the gate before they closed the doors. We'll never know now, because we weren't allowed the chance. The automated kiosks would not print boarding passes because it was too close to flight time, and when we attempted to approach the service desk, the attendant in front of the line would not let us approach. Yes, they actually had a "bouncer" on their service desk line. We were instead directed to "flight services," where the employees apparently receive special training in not caring about the travellers' issues that are brought to them. We were informed in a very bored tone that our money would.not be refunded or credited toward rebooking a later flight, and we were offered the "opportunity" to book a later flight at about two and a half times the original price we had paid, plus a mountain of fees on top of that. We opted instead to take the train for a fraction of the price with an arrival time similar to tyat of the new booking we were offered. Suffice it to say, this company will never see another cent from me. I'd advise you not to throw your money away on them, either. If anything at all goes wrong with your travel plans, they won't hesitate to rake you over the coals.

Pros:For a budget airline Norwegian does a good job in most areas - courteous, professional staff, clean, well-maintained planes, good service.
Cons:My flight from Oslo to Gatwick was delayed due to technical problems with the plane. We sat on the tarmac and left two hours late, causing me to miss my connection to Boston. I understand that these things happen, and I appreciate the attention to safety; however, the real problems began when we arrived at Gatwick. We were told an agent would meet the five of us who missed the flight at the gate to assist us. No agent was there, and we wandered to different Norwegian sites for help. When we finally found the right person, it took a ridiculous amount of time to rebook us. Here's the first problem with a carrier like Norwegian: they don't have as many flights, and none were going directly to Boston the following day. I was finally booked on a 6:20 a.m. flight to Copenhagen the next day with a 10 hour layover until the flight to Boston. The next problem was an outsourced service to provide me with a hotel and food voucher for the night. This literally took hours for them to arrange. It was over 6 hours from arrival at Gatwick to ending up with a place to stay - and then a 4 a.m. wakeup to get to the airport. I would hesitate to book Norwegian again for these reasons. Also - come on, Norwegian, soft drinks, water, and coffee/tea should be free.

Cons:I arrived at 6am at the airport for my 8am flight. I was told to wait because my flight was delayed, and I would not make my connection to LAX. We waited with absolutely no information for a while until people started to panic. There was no Norwegian representative at the Airport, so we were basically told to wait or call ourselves. I did not have a way to call, but others did. Eventually we were told that there were no other flights for us to be placed at that day. If fact, the next open flight would not be until 3 days later. Needless to say, many of us were really worried of being stuck in London. However, some time later we were told that the LAX flight was 20 minutes delayed, and that "maybe" it would get delayed more. Some of us decided to board even though we knew we might get stuck in London. We boarded at 11:30am (the original time we were given as departure time). Once in the plane, we were informed that the plane had been delayed because of lack of crew, and the we were told that we would not make our LAX connection. Our flight did not end up departing until 1:15pm. At around 1 there was an announcement telling us that they we would be waiting for us in London after all. Obviously everyone there was upset about being delayed too, but at least me made it to LAX.
Pros:The seat, bathrooms, videos.
Cons:After boarding we waited an hour in the plane to begin our flight and once we landed it took three more hours to find an open gate. In those three hours most of it the lights were off and the pilot/crew just didn't explain to anyone why we were waiting and when they finally told us how much longer we would have to wait (after an hour had past) we were told twenty minutes only to wait an hour for another updated time of ten minutes only to wait another fifty. Then once off the plane I found out they sent my checked bag with all my clothing in it to Norway instead of NYC.
Pros:short trip, it was fine overall.
Pros:Nice staff, left on schedule, I did not get any food, it was not included, and there was no entertainments, like movies.
Cons:It is a little crowded, but ok for the price.

The primary headquarters for Norwegian Air International is Dublin; however, hubs are also found in Barcelona, Copenhagen, London and Madrid, among other cities. Services are available to 40 countries across the world, with some destinations across Southeast Europe and Asia operating on a seasonal basis.
Operating as the low-cost subsidiary of Norwegian Air Shuttle, the airline prides itself as a budget-friendly travel option. Recognized as Europe’s Best Low-Cost Airline by the World Airline Awards in 2019 for a fifth consecutive year, customers love the reduced fares. It also received an Outstanding Contribution to Aviation Award from the Irish Aviation Industry in 2017.
Free Wi-Fi and live TV are available to passengers on most European flights, while personal entertainment systems are found on long-haul international flights. There are 3 fare options for most flights operated by Norwegian Air International: LowFare, LowFare+ and Flex. The differences come down to checked baggage and seat reservation, with Flex allowing up to 2 checked bags as well as 1 carry-on bag. On long-haul international flights meals are provided to LowFare+ and Flex passengers.
