Good price, but overall not great
Cons: Car wasn't ready when I arrived, was quickly washed but found some trash from previous renter inside. Location was a 10 minute drive from airport

Couldn't get the type of vehicle I'd reserved 3-4 weeks in advance
Pros: Karen was very helpful. She gave me an upgrade to a full-size Chevy Impala at the rate I'd reserved for a Toyota RAV4. The Impala was not available due to a cover on the driver's door lock needing repair, but Karen made an exception and made the car available to accommodate my needs. Basically, she saved my weekend by coming up with a vehicle large enough to accommodate 4 people plus luggage.
Cons: Inventory at the Ft. Myers location at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 5th was down to 6 cars. Basically, I had a choice between 2 mini-vans or one of 4 compacts. I needed a larger vehicle to pick up 3 more people coming into RSW the next day.

Cons: I was overcharged $100. I had to file a disputed claim. They said I did not returned the car 2 days late. I am having to prove I was on a flight leaving Ft. Myers. They did not give me a receipt or email. When I returned car. Also the lot is very dark & poorly lighted. My friend & were scared searching for our car in the dark by ourselves.

Pros: Polite service at the pickup site at Ft. Myers Airport.
Cons: Broken car issued to me to begin with. Very obvious front end noise and vibration... how could they miss this? Drove it 8 miles and returned it. Advantage failed to tell me the pre-paid fuel didn't transfer to the replacement car, but it was on my rental contract that I was paying for it... appearing to apply to the replacement rental. Charged me to refuel on top of charging me the pre-paid fuel on the first car when they emailed me the final bill. Customer service on the phone fought with me about the additional fuel cost. I didn't expect to get a broken car or a replacement car that didn't have the pre-paid fuel included or transferred. Only makes sense, right? Didnt make sense to them! Only after talking to a supervisor did they refund me the additional fuel charge. Lesson learned... ask that ALL items on the original rental contract transfer over to any replacement vehicles. Why that isn't an obvious customer service quality assurance thing is beyond me.
