9.6 Excellent
Pros: Large Japanese-style rooms with mattresses and an en-suite. The outside of the building may look slightly dated but the interior is well maintained and clean. Amenities provided including but not limited to face masks, facial lotion, bath salts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the beds a lot as well. There was some nice tea in the room too. The room was quiet, which I think is important. They give you the option to have the rooms cleaned or not, and I got some water bottles too. It was clean and elegant.
Cons: Would have been good if there had been a convenience store nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very spacious, especially after Tokyo. There was a smartphone that had internet and phone capabilities that I would have been allowed to take with me if I was staying longer (I only stayed the one night). The hotel staff were very helpful and helped me order taxis and organised luggage storage. The room was quite traditional with tatami mats, table and chairs on the floor, and futons on the floor for beds.
Cons: The door to the bathroom was a little funny and didn’t quite lock/unlock consistently.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: NA
Cons: No shuttle bus service

5.0 Okay
Pros: With the help of a very friendly front desk lady we could find a wonderful sake bar nearby, tucked away from the hotel's busy street.
Cons: Breakfast was minimal, lots of processed meat and greasy fried stuff, in light of Japanese standards for breakfast not good. No soy milk. It's really a hotel for car drivers, surrounded by disgusting drive-in fast food chains.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is easy to be found near the main road with free private parking space. The room is big and clean, comfortable bed with all the facilities, love the bath gel and shampoo in the bathroom. There are also public bath in the hotel that have to put the passcode to open the public bath door for women room and the passcode change everyday that was a caring for women. The staff are nice and give the impressive service, breakfast is good and dinner in the hotel's restaurant was great. recommend to have a dinner at hotel's restaurant, price is reasonable and delicious. Around hotel surrounding with supermarket and restaurants and shops.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit small, as it has to give the space for bath tub so we use the public bath instead which is more comfortable. after all everything was great.
7.1 Good
Pros: Big supermarket and konbini nearby, good breakfast, decent bathroom and room size.
Cons: A bit far from the station, the bed was very hard and the room a bit dated. Room was very cold and it took some time until the heater started to work. I thought it was a bit too expensive for the quality and location.

Pros: Our stay was amazing! The staff was very friendly and inviting! We stayed in a Japanese standard room which was massive and had a great view of the river and mountain. The onsen and sauna was great! We didn't try the private bath, but I'm sure that has a wonderful view as well! We got the buffet option for our meals. Dinner was amazing! There were so many local specialties and locally sources foods, you want to try everything! Breakfast was fantastic as well with both Japanese and Western breakfast! They have live cooks doing meat and tempura for dinner and great French toast for breakfast! So much to try! When we visited there was also a mochi making experience that you could join in with the staff and other visitors! It was so much fun, and of course you get to try the end result! We had kinako mochi! Before dinner they had live shamisen music in the lobby. They had some English speaking staff which were super helpful and friendly if you have trouble with Japanese. They also have a shuttle service from the hotel to the train station! I had an amazing time and will definitely go again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, bus service, employees, food, Onsen, entertainment
Cons: Slippers are old and uncomfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. We felt at home right away. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is calm. Exceptional service. Although we didn't make a reservation for the shuttle bus in time, they still picked us up and saved our day. Thank you very much for making our stay so memorable!
Cons: When we wanted to pay upon Check-out, we encountered problems with our credit cards. The staff was friendly and tried immediately to solve the problem. In the end it was that we would have needed to enter the PIN to confirm the payment. It seems that this process is not common with japanese cards.

7.1 Good
Pros: It’s clean and near the onsen.
Cons: The building is under renovation, the bathroom needs to be renovated. There is no staff, you need to check in from another building 300 meters uphill.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: I booked a room based on seeing the photos on the website. The room did not correspond to the picture. We didn't use the onsen because we were in another Yukkura Inn building 100 metres away from the main hotel.
7.9 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful contemporary Japanese design room that was spacious and had a view of the city. Modern outdoor baths had excellent views of Aizu Wakamatsu. Buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent.
7.0 Good
Pros: The onsen hotel is very comfortable. We had a western style room on the 3rd floor. It was very large with separate bathroom and dressing areas, a little sun room and a huge bedroom with a king size bed, armchairs etc etc. The buffet dinner and breakfast offer a reasonable range of Japanese and (some) Western food. The rest was really great: the staff are friendly and helpful throughout the complex; its well heated so we could comfortably wander around in the yukata's provided and enjoy the unique Japanese onsen experience; the onsen baths are well maintained, large enough to not get too crowded and have indoor and outdoor pools. As an added Christmas bonus there was a short performance of Xmas and Abba songs by an enthusiastic and well rehearsed band made up of hotel staff members...
Cons: In the room the couch had a little hole in one of the arms and some of the joinery needed small repairs. There were no vegetarian options (e.g. tofu) as there had been on a previous visit.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for onsen , room and breakfast/dinner.
Cons: Far from Higashiyama onsen by walking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views from the public baths! My room was the cheapest, but at that, still way better than a cheap room in any business hotel. Well done. Beautiful breakfast and dinner buffet, with a wide variety of choices.
Cons: The buffet could do with some English info tags. The bathroom was quite small in comparison to the room. They could've eave left out the bath tub, since they have two big public baths anyway.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs were all very friendly and welcoming. They are able to speak various languages such as English and Mandarin. They have (if i'm not wrong) 2 indoor baths and one outdoor bath for females and a sauna as well. The outdoor bath was a much smaller than I expected so I would recommend you to go early in the morning before the sunrise to avoid the crowd!
Cons: Everything was great but I wished that the property had a stable wifi connection. I was told that there is only wifi in the lobby/front desk area but even at the area, it was very weak and unstable. :((
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is always professional and courteous, clean rooms and I enjoyed the in room onsen.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The evening dinner - kaiseki - was simply exceptional; the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The kids had a genuine onsen experience which was lovely! Thanks for a fun stay!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was lovely and quiet and the building really gorgeously decorated in traditional style and spacious yet intimate. The baths were superb, especially the outdoor pool. The food was very good, both the multi-course evening meal and the incredible breakfast buffet. And the staff were really helpful and courteous without being intrusive.
Cons: The balcony was welcome but I would have liked more access to the surrounding outdoors, in particular the gardens and the river. And, all in all, it felt a little pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is located quite far from the city but that’s make it very quiet and peaceful. All of staff was very polite, well trained and service mind. For anyone who love onsen, really recommend for room with private onsen that you can enjoy the best view all day without anyone to disturb you. Very perfect place to stay, will come back again for sure.
Cons: Most staff can’t speak English but I’m still ok with them due to their politely, lovely and very good service.

Room spacious and its air-conditioning and heating can be adjusted to an ambient temperature to our liking. Kaiseki dinner traditional fare and Japanese breakfast nice spread. Staff very attentive and helpful.
Cons: Room has no bathroom attached. Not sure why reservable private onsen has no bath area or toiletries. City bus to hotel not frequent enough.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet, tons of choices with healthy ones.
Cons: Bath closes at midnight, i prefered to take it later.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel facilities are really great. 3 onsen for your choices. They provided the amenities, yakata and 4 choices of pillows. Recommend to buy a dinner set, value for money. Not much foreigners here so staff's English language is limited but can find info from info guide they provided. They have another hotel nearby that you can use their facilities for free.
Cons: The location is a bit far from public transportation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dinner and breakfast are mostly local traditional dishes. All the bath places are fantastic and clean.Staff at the front desk are really nice and helpful
7.5 Good
Pros: Onsen and meals. Fresh and nutritional food items, good services at the dining area.
Cons: Surrounding area looks an old village.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: - Staff is very nice, there are welcome drink (sake or hot tea). Staff will bring you and your luggage to the room by herself. Staff try to advice everything in the room in Japanese. - Excellent dinner with Yaki-niku (grilled meet) - Excellent breakfast - 3 different hot bath that you can use and the bath will switch from male to female and female to male every morning. It's mean you can use the different hot bath when you stay in this hotel.
Cons: - It's not easy to find this hotel even if this hotel is correctly pinned on booking and google map. You have to turn right on the small bridge, and the road is narrow. - There are small parking in front of the hotel, however you have to give your car key to the staff and he will find where to park your cars. - If you search the name of this hotel in google map it will show the chain hotel that is located near this hotel. You will confuse

Cons: The staff said we could have breakfast and dinner and then they said we had no more. That was a little frustrating, and we had to pay for food after check out. The onsen was paid too, not include. I just discovered after checkout.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went and saw the local attractions such as the castle and the local town. We also went hiking in the mountains and the weather was great. The private ryukon session was also lovely, private and relaxing.
Cons: Many of the patrons smoked in their rooms and we could smell it. I believe that this is common in Japan to smoke inside. Also, some of the staff did not speak English. This is ok as some did and were able to help :D

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Did have to walk a little but it wasnt too bad. Great view from both the onsens, but better on the 10th floor. The dinner buffet was amazing, though would have liked some sushi. The spread was still amazing. Even the breakfast. No complaints on the food served and the service. Room was big and spacious even for the 4 of us.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and baths were very good. Also breakfast was outstanding. I really recommend for anybody to visit this place.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful and Onsen amazing. The food outstanding.
Cons: only thing I will say is location a little off the beaten track and shuttle won’t pick you up from the Aizu train station
8.0 Excellent
Pros: overall the stay was good but the price was quite expensive for one night+breakfast. Usually it is what we pay for a ryokan half board. the hotel is quite old and not luxurious but the staff is great, really helpful. The Onsen on the 10/F has one indoor and one outdoor space and is good. the breakfast is a buffet and it was so so (if you are not japanese). the japanese type room is spacious.
Cons: the price and the breakfast could be better. At least put some breads for non japanese.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely accommodating and exceedingly lovely. The rooms were really nice and the entire hotel gave a truly authentic Japanese experience.
Cons: Whilst the breakfast was nice, there wasn't any western options and after 5 days this became a little tiring, but definitely not a deal breaker. What is a deal breaker, however, is that they will not let people into their onsen with tattoos, and whilst this is semi common in modern Japan, it's 2020 and many other onsen have relaxed this rule for that reason. As a paying guest of the hotel, you really should be allowed to use the onsen, no matter the markings on your body. They own multiple shuttles but do not run a shuttle service into town at night, nor will they pick you up or drop you off at the train station on arrival and departure.

You have to turn right on the small bridge, and the road is narrow. - There are small parking in front of the hotel, however you have to give your car key to the staff and he will find where to park your cars. - If you search the name of this hotel in google map it will show the chain hotel that is located near this hotel.
