Pros: Front desk was amazing, room was clean and comfortable
Cons: When we asked for another towel the cleaning lady treated us like criminals, it was odd
Pros: I was very pleased with the room that we received. I was able to get more towels and shampoos and conditioner with a very pleasant demeanor. The pool and spa were great. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
Cons: I can't think of anything that I didn't like.
Cons: There was remodeling going on, so there was a construction smell and dust. No lobby area and you had to walk through the remodel area to get to the elevator.
Pros: Clean room, good breakfast, comfortable beds, great bathroom. Great staff, and security of my vehicle was great.
Cons: The location was a little confusing, got lost when we came back to room from dinner, but not too bad, it is a small town after all.
Cons: Room location, construction stuff everywhere,
Pros: Breakfast was impressive.
Cons: Not very clean and it is dated.
Pros: Hostess for breakfast bar was great very attentive. Made you feel special. Room is big with refridge
Cons: Had trouble with key card working. Beds are hard and noisy like your sleeping on cardboard. And we asked housekeeping for room to be cleaned on day two so we can have fresh towels. They did not clean the room and their excuse was their key card didn't work, no one came to fix it until day three when we were checking out. I thought that was rude and inconsiderate. A/C rattled all night. I got very little rest.
Cons: I did not like the fact that I was charged by Priceline and by Hampton. I am in process of getting it corrected. Hotel swiped my card and charged my account what they charge Priceline. I got billed 117.21 by Priceline and 98.40 by Hampton.
I was doing some research on the particular smell coming from the hall way and came to discover that since I was staying on the top floor it may be possible that the vent that leads to the roof was possibly blocked. This discovery was proven because one night a next door occupant came out and knocked on my door and asked me if my toilet was clogged??? At first glance I thought, what a weird thing to say but since I had asked before about the smell I thought why not check. My toilet was not clogged but a lady that was down the hall from us heard what the man said and advised us that she had problems with her bathroom and that the water from her sink did not drain quickly? Well, the plumber was dispatched and said that some birds sometimes clog the vent tubes on the roof, hence the sewer smell. Besides that, everything was ok.
Pros: The staff, hands down, from the gentleman who was cleaning outside, the housekeeping staff, the kitchen lady to the front desk personnel, just outstanding customer service.
Cons: With several positives there always seem to be a negative. The room was clean, might have been on the need to renovate side but fine really. The only thing that I could not overlook was the smell of sewer or drainage smell from the hallway???
Great place, very affordable and outstanding staff. Alamagordo might not be a high-traffic tourist location, but if you're going to White Sands, this is the place to stay. It's right on the highway to White Sands, easy to find and very quiet. Highly recommend them!
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and the staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to book us a second room at the last minute. They managed to get us connecting rooms at a fantastic rate. It has dining places next door, too!
Pros: What a great value. The nicest Super 8 I've ever seen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, safe area, good location. Would 100% recommend this place.
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and the heating/cooling system wasn't automatic so you are either boiling hot or freezing cold.
Pros: Customer service
Pros: Beds and room were comfortable. Had a good breakfast and everything was clean. Customer service was excellent as well. Rooms were pretty basic but for a one nighter or even an extended stay it is a pretty decent place to stay.
Cons: One night was not enough to come up with any legitimate complaints. At 3 am and the group tired from the long drive, we weren't in any shape to scrutinize every detail (thing requires 100 characters so meh)
Pros: I liked that it was clean and it had all the cable channels. And also free wifi. Very good deal for the price.
Pros: Best price and near to attractions
Cons: Heaternot working in bwthroom
Pros: I KNOW I am going to regret this review, because the next time I come to Alamogordo, prices will have doubled... This place has character. If you enjoy off grid motels, you'll love this one. The room I had, 114, was super clean.
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Friendliness of staff & very clean
Pros: Low cost, pretty clean, microwave and fridge, close to places to eat, lots of puffy pillows
Cons: Wi-Fi was poor, didn't work at first when I checked in and then again didn't work the next morning Room smelled very stale, not bad but stale Could have used a light blanket instead of just a sheet
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean room, comfortable bed, free mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer and wifi. Bathroom appeared to be remodeled, and it had a good shower.
Cons: It looks a little run down, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But don't let this deter you, as it's clean and a great deal for less than $----.
Staff was helpful. For a quick stay with the basic needs it wotked great. Had mini fridge to keep the drinks and food cold.
Pros: It was close access to where I needed to be.
Cons: Wi fi was not the best but was free
I enjoyed the quietness while I did my work on my laptop. The Internet connection was good.
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The location was great plus the price was great also.
Cons: The bathroom was small but clean
Pros: You can tell it is an older place but very well taken care of and clean. I love the retro thing anyways. Beautiful view of the mountains as well.
Cons: They do need flat screen tv.
Pros: The personel where very friendly and helpful. Towels and bed sheets very clean.
If you're looking for a clean room, and don't care about the frills, this place is for you.
Pros: Great Price. Quite clean. As nice as any other hotel at twice the price.
Cons: Small room. Dated.
Older property that is fairly well maintained, very compact with parking in center by your room.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Very small bars of soap, small packets of shampoo. Minimum sets of towels. You get what you pay for - this is a budget property.
Pros: Nice and comfortable room, very clean. It ended up being a great location, easy to get to the places I needed to go to and back. Good place for the price.
Cons: Shower head is definitely very low, and it looks kind of old. I am about 5 2 so I did not mind, but anyone taller than that might. It is a cheap motel, so some of the other guests seemed slightly sketchy, but I did not have any trouble at all with anybody.
Pros: Super clean, plenty of room- no frills and perfect for an inexpensive stay. Nice, prompt, no-nonsense staff. I was expecting way less comfortable bed but it was great. Super fluffy firm pillows. Easy on/off road to get back onto highway to travel. Would definitely stay again. Was surprised pleasantly at the micro and mini fridge, and the hairdryer and iron.
Cons: The shower head really is for tiny people BUT it didn't bother me, it just may be something someone else may want to know. The water was hot and felt great all the same.
Pros: I will never go back there. Staff is rude and Needs a lot of fixings.
Pros: Located off the main road.
Cons: We were in a smoking room. We bought odorizers to help with the smell.
Cons: Room allotment is bad. Had to pay extra for the right size bed.
Pros: Kitchenette was convenient
Cons: A little small
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Beds were a bit hard
Pros: It was right across from an ice cream shop
Cons: We were told we could bring our dog and then got in trouble for bringing our dog
Cons: Their ability to accommodate your stay.
Pros: bed was comfortable, room was clean
Cons: They do not offer breakfast. they are an extended stay hotel and assume all guests will prepare their own food
Pros: Nothing really, it's an very cheap place. The room was not clean either.
Cons: I went to this hotel 24th October night & saw a horrible scene. 10/11 middle aged people were drinking openly and shouting at the 1st floor and at the 2nd floor. The hotel manager was also with them! I was scared for my wife's security. I couldn't sle
Cons: There was a LOT OF hair in my shower - stuck in the curtain and all over the bathroom. The bed was pretty firm, and the carpet felt like it had not been cleaned in this decade.
We had a terrible experience here. There was a woman next door with her window open and tv blarring. The drunk woman was talking/cusing very loudly. Things finally quieted down at 10:00 and our family fell asleep. At 12:15 she was screaming obsenities, and woke everyone up. The police arrived and spoke with her. She quieted down for an hour then shouted out the front door, 'Good night sweet baby angel.' I never went back to sleep. In the morning we found out it was a 'Very homeless looking woman' who was probably schitzofrenic. It looked like there were other mentally ill people living there. It was scary and I felt very unsafe.
Pros: It was the cheapest we could find. We just wanted a place to sleep but were unable to because of screaming. We are not very picky but this place was scary.
Cons: The King size bed had a huge dip in the middle . The whole night my husband and I kept rolling to the middle. Old and very out dated, falling apart.
Cons: We were told our room was booked smoking even my printout said non-smoking. We got queen size bed instead of king, room next to hotel loundry room with dirty carpet and tub. When I asked for check out print I was told I do not get anything. Horrible experience.
