The doormen were excellent and so was the concierge, Brent. Very nice room and it was very comfy!! not a thing
Clean Hotel. Frount desk staff very helpful.
nothing. it was terrible. staff were rude. tv in the room did not work. door did not lock. bathrooms old. they overcharged me by 50 dollars on my room rate. door didnt lock. room service food greasy and too heavy. film crew filming in hotel so guests could not use the main lobby or bar. awful experience for business related stay. business center not working
Staff were very helpful and concierge was extremely good at recommending services in hotel and local tours and as we were only staying one night we found this information very useful and time saving. hotel as a whole was beautiful especially foyer and balony outside was lovely for late night drinks rooms were huge but room we had could really do with a complete overhaul although it was clean it was very outdated towards rest of hotel.
The staff and the front desk went out of their wayto make surely stay was perfect.
I was not there a lot but the shower was clean and spacious. I had a great view of midtown Atlanta. I felt secure because of the valet parking and floor accessed only with your room key. The beds were clean and fluffy but supportive. When it was time to get my car the valet did not provide clear communication. There was a crowd because the hotel was having an event and it was raining. He took my card and never said anything else or what to expect.
close to theatre did not get room type requested. room poorly furnished, no refrigerator as promised, no king bed as promised. very disappointed
The location to the Fox Theater I stayed in a suite and it had a kitchen but no wine glassed or any kithchen supplies. Was not very nicely decorated for a suite.
location across from the Fox our friends got super huge spacious rooms with suites and KITCHENS!!! We asked for an upgrade and had a small room way way down the hall and around the corner, what is up with that?? No one answers the phones - called room service, front desk, conceirge, and the operator---VERY ANNOYING THAT NO ONE WOULD ANSWER REPEATED PHONE CALLS will not stay here again..,.,
Lication, comfy bed Noisey room attendants
The views Staff ans Services
The staff was exceptional. Room was worn. For $200 a night, I expect furniture that is unscratched and a bathroom free of rusty hinges and moldy silicone.
The staff were very kind. the room very clean.
Great quality especially for price. Walls are super thin
Staff were very accommodating. Parking fees are greatly overpriced. Price of parking should have been included in price of room. A/C did not operate properly during visit. Staff offered room change or box fan. While this was a nice gesture, QC (Quality Control) was not performed to insure all functions and features of the room were properly operating prior to the arrival of guests. In the future, this function and quality check should be performed before the checkin of guests.
We liked the lounge & the room. It was a great atmosphere. There should be drinks in the rooms.
Having to pay 32 dollars a night for parking.
Staff was rude.
Good staff, valet was very prompt, rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would probably stay again if I had some kind of coupon but coupled with the valet charge, it was too expensive for me. I can't stand places that charge $200/night and don't give you free wi-fi in the room. Also, the $32/day valet (while we knew about it in advance) still stung... there was pretty much no other option around though.
Really nice hotel. Would visit a again. Parking is expensive but probably the norm for downtown.
The extra charges for internet and the mandatory valet parking was a bit much.
Beautiful hotel, lovely atmosphere, the room was like an apartment. The front desk clerk was not very friendly and it took her a while to get each person checked in. She also didn't give me much information about the hotel, we were left to figure it out ourselves, but she told us what would get us kicked out. STEREOTYPING

Private balcony great security Couldn't smoke on private balcony
I loved the city view and how convient it was to different locations in Atlanta
The room was huge and beautifully appointed. The location was pretty good but it was a bit of a walk to get to a better pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. When we arrived our toilet was not working, we called down twice to have it fixed and no one ever came up so we ended up fixing it ourselves.
Good location for my needs. Restaurant in hotel and within a block of the hotel. All in all a good choice for me. Not really.

The staff was amazing! They were all extremely helpful, friendly and caring. The food was excellent. The bathroom shower had a little bit of mold starting. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom except for the mold starting
The room was very nice with modern design and great view with balcony, also area was convenient. The staff was rude aside from one exceptional hostess staff was not concerned about guest needs t.v channels were not coming in and was fuzzy.
needs new furniture furniture
Everything... Simple Elegence.. Awesome Accomadations
The staff was very accomodating, for example I was allowed to review several rooms and to select my preference and they were patient with my late dparture. Parking can be a bit of a hasssle and is rather expensive.
Easy to use wifi was provided. Location was great. Room was a little shoddy. Cracks in the wall, worn paint and the flooring had large gaps that didn't meet the wall.
The hotel was perfect for our stay and very comfortable and clean.
Our room smelled pretty bad. Running the AC didn't help. And the bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen. Staff was great, but I'd never go back.
Location to the FOX theater Bathroom was very small
This hotel was everything we needed after a loud night out on the town. Inviting lobby, accommodating staff and clean modern rooms.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very attractive and comfy. Close to Fox Theatre. Enjoyed our stay. We need a tub.
Rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Small bathroom had nice walk in shower Staff was not that friendly, the bar area was not willing to serve us at closing time, simply stating that "We're closed."
We were very impressed with how wonderful the staff were -they were always polite and willing to help .
Great rate, nice location. Covered parking next to the hotel, only $15 night. Most hotels in the midtown/downtown area parking is $30 or more. Affordable restaurants and bars within walking distance. Starbucks and Barnes and Noble across the street. Atlanta's own Waffle House next door. Easy access to all ATL landmarks and tourist attractions. The room was clean and spacious enough for a couple. King bed was comfy, bathroom clean with nice soap. The hotel bar was not overpriced with a decent food and beverage selection. I am an ATL native and stayed one night to attend a party downtown, used Uber as transportation to the party. I absolutely recommend this hotel, especially at $126/ night including taxes. What a deal! No complaints
yes, I asked for a non-smoking room in which I received, but the room smelled and reaked of smoke. our clothes smelled like smoke the next day and our luggage smells like smoke too. This was very disappointing.
Clean and quiet hotel with nice and responsive staffs that made the stay quite comfortable. There was a problem with bathroom sink drain on the night of arrival, but the staffs fixed it while we were out on the following day. Room air was extremely dry, which must be fixed to the entire HVAC system in the building. While the room and all facilities are clean, some facilities are getting old and failing already - bath tub water control was loose, temperature control buttons weren't quite responsive, etc.
Clean rooms A little warm
The staff was great, the location is the best, very close to everything and within walking distance to great places such as bars and places to eat, and be social. Who wants to pay for parking when you attend a hotel, no one, so I really don't like that we had to pay $15 a night for parking, but I get it. Also, I hate when hotels put holds on your debit cards, then you have to wait for the crazy fee and amounts to be refunded, it's like hello, why are you locking up my funds to begin with.
I had a very good experience staying at Georgia Tech Hotel. I will recommend it ot any colleagues traveling to Georgia.
It was a great hotel, big room, It was in the middle of everything.
The hotel is in a very good location. It's easily accessible by car and the MARTA (3 blocks).
My daughter cried on the way out that she didn't want to go home - and she loved the hotel. Although a professional conference was going on, the staff were fantastic and really great with our kids.
Wonderful location. Fantastic bed and linens. Extremely clean. No
I was very satisfied with the customer service. I also appreciate the cleanest of the room as well as how decorative it was.
The workout room was clean and updated. Service was slow across the entire operation. Expensive - Three of us had breakfast one morning and it cost us $70 for breakfast buffet. We also used the valet to park our rental car and it was damaged in an accident when they were bringing our car around to us. Where they park your car is a block away and requires driving the vehicle in heavy traffic. It is built in to be slow with a potential for accidents. I would not stay here again.
This hotel has a pretty good location for Georgia Tech visitors. The rate was much lower than others, probably due to the fact that it was under construction. No free coffee after 9 am -- who gets up before 9 am on a Sunday? At 9:04 it was long gone. It's like making it look like you are giving away something for free but not really doing it. The hotel will probably look nice in a few more months, but lots of drywall, and some jack hammering. Also, it's right next to Emory Hospital, so more than a few sirens. The sliding doors need to be replaced -- they leak like a sieve. Also, my Mac can never connect to the WiFi in the rooms. Down in the lobby it's not a problem, but something about the Access Point upstairs isn't happy with my laptop.
The Hotel is Newly refreshed, and has a very nice and accommodating staff, Room was Clean and Well appointed. In a different location this would be a Four or Five Star hotel. Sorry but the negatives with noise The Hotel is on a main thoroughfare that is being used as a place for idiots to cruise blasting with speakers that rattled the windows and I was on the 12th floor. Atlanta must not have any sort of noise ordinances. It was Mf this and MF that and MF MF That was disturbing in and of its self,. But coupling the music with ambulances with wailing sirens at all hours (there is a major cardiac hospital across the street). I would not stay here or recommend this hotel because in two nights I never got a good nights sleep.
Building and location Rude staff cigarette butts and marijuana roach on patio tub didn't drain parking garage took forever to get out of due to faulty machine Parking cost $30 dollars.
Room service was very quick to respond to in room dinning and bringing extra things. There was a 35 min wait in valet after I called for my car and there was no indication of how long we would have to wait.
Hotel location is very convenient, access to all areas near the hotel and or at walking distance. Hotel amenities, although under construction and/or renovation were acceptable ( I refer ti the pool). Fitness room and facilities is a plus . Not that I don't like but that was not always available, the concierge services in my case would have make a difference.
Good location to the aquarium & other tourist attractions. We had no hot water for showers even after running the water thirty minutes. This happened three times.
We enjoyed the location and room service. Valet was slow and inconvenient. Rooms were beat up and in poor condition.
Online at checkin I followed the prompts and requested a room with a view. Wife and I stayed in town for a Fox Theater visit. The room we had was one of the latest round of renovations called live/work. It was average to small size acceptable of a downtown room. The room was extremely clean and and the furnishings were leisurely and new. There were about 6 USB plugs in the room which was convenient for gadgets. I was obliged with a bellman to my room with my bags. He did full service including turning on all the lights and opening the blinds to the skyline view. I think there have been major renovations in this hotel and the older reviews on this site do not at all reflect the hotel in found.
Need to upgrade your AC system!
Super helpful staff, fun check in, and Amberley at the restaurant/bar was wonderful. Excellent experience!
pricing It took about 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car around even thought we called 10 minutes ahead as we were told to do.
I like the service . The rooms need improving.
Too much smoke of cigarrete.
Your hotel "security" have (little) to no public skillscat all and should be re-school'd in public relations, and your room carpet must not have been "cleaned" not ever at all,hummm.....??? Therefore,my stay at this "dump" was a "nightmare" to remember! ...Yeah, when it was time to check-out the next morning!
the price and was within walking distance to the Fox. the homeless people right outside the fence area....bad area.
Convenient to local attractions, i.e. Coca Cola, CNN, Aquarium Lots of homeless/vagrants sleeping, standing around hotel entrance made walking around the area uncomfortable.
It's really cheap, the staff is really nice. It truly is in a very shady neighborhood. If you're not wandering around after dark, you're probably okay... I also wasn't crazy about the two cockroaches...
Roaches in room for real. Very bad neighborhood! Noisy at night with booming radio in parking lot. I slept maybe two hours...NOT A good hotel. Pretty much everything. I am not pickt at all. I just want clean and quiet. Savannah suites was neither.
Too noisy - unsafe location
The fact it is near to most places i was interested. I was having a meeting at Hilton Atlanta. I loved the hotel because it is at walking distance from the Hilton Atlanta. Though it is at walking distance to get into most of my business places, I was informed that the area around was unsecured. I have seen some people siting around the hotel. That was frightening for me because that was my first time to be in the USA. But nothing happened to me.
no iron, key card difficulty, and hours of operation (closed at 9 p.m.)
