Location. Fitness room was OK, but limited
Even the paid WiFi was spotty at best
The staff, especailly the person who was working at the desk the night we arrived were all very helpful. Was a little difficult to get into and out of the hotel due to the placement on Highway 1.
staff extremely friendly; good breakfast; comfortable; convenient
Clean, friendly staff, hampton is a chain that I have always found to be well worth the money we paid. Hot buffet breakfast makes it a very convient place to stay.
Room was clean. From the website we got the impression that this would be an interesting hotel in a nice environment. The hotel makes part of a conference centre but does not have real hotel facilities. Breakfast was for instance very basic, a cup of coffee and a muffin on a plate on your lap. In fact, you get a very basic room and that is it. The prices however, are far too high. We paid about $ 190 (including taxes) for one night. There are better and cheaper hotels in the area.
Good location, great for Salem sightseeing - rooms can be a little dark but we got a room change for a higher floor
Cleanliness, convenient location, friendly staff Small room size
Convenient to the event we were going to. Very small room.
The reservationist and concierge staff were AAA+++ The room is too small for two people. Room couldn't easily accomodate laying out our 2 suitcases - there was one stand and we used a chair for the other piece. Would expect more space for the room rate.
Clean, wel presented rooms. Ideally locaed for visiting Salem & the North Shore. Hotel gave US Government / Military discount on production of my British Army ID card
Small hotel with prompt service Rooms are small.
Employees are nice the restaurant fell short of our expectations, on a Friday night there was virtually nothing to choose from and what we ordered was not good; although breakfast buffet was quite good. tiny bedroom with nightstand on only 1 side. location is far from shopping and restaurants. pathway to beach and beach itself were nice.
Close proximity to a lot of things needed small refrig for water Shower curtain in room had mold
Location in Beverly, close in eateries, quiet place when we stayed there. It's definitely a gem. Down side is that the rooms are a bit small and it gets sold out on week ends for Weddings. According to the desk clerk they were sold out Fri, Sat 51 weeks in 2013, 2014 looks even more active.
The place was beautiful. Right near the beach. Only a short 15 minute drive to Salem. The hotel charged me for the same room three times. I confronted them and at first they apologized and admitted mistake, then after talking to the manager she said that they always do that and there was a sign at the front (which I didn't see) that's says they do that. It's been over a week and I've only been refunded once. Not twice. The rooms are small. The AC decides when it wants to work. Won't be going back.
Room was very small. Front desk staff: 3 out of 4 of them were brainless. Residential back road location impossible without GPS. Overpriced for what it was.
It had a shuttle to and from airport. The driver was very pleasant and helpful. It is a short distance from the airport Nothing really
Very convenient shuttle Adjacent restaurant is poor
The Hotel staff was very friendly and very supportive. I had to fax a confirmation letter to the Bank, so the manager Maxim Davidov did everything to fax a letter on time and was willing and eager to help. I also liked that we did not have to ask twice for anything that we requested. I liked everything regarding the hotel. My only concern was location. I had an exam in Boston and it takes about 7-8 stops by metro to get to the city of Boston. But then again, the price was very convenient, especially when you are on a budget. Also very close to the Logan International airport.
Close to airport and free shuttle to the airport. Maybe free shuttle from the airport would be great too.
breakfast was pretty good and sumptuous Transport to the Airport was restrictive and it took too much time!!
Great hotel for visiting Boston. Breakfast was great. Staff was very attentive. Pizza Boy (nearby) has excellent pizza and you can walk to it.
The place was well kept and my accommodations were good, especially for a very reasonable price. I was disturbed by a loud conversation in the next room for a while and an air mattress endeavor at about 3am across the hall. The walls may be a bit thin there. Those were the only issues however.
Good shuttle sevice, spotless room, attentive staff Had no problems.
The hotel appeared clean and the room was quiet. The breakfast offered was fine and the complimentary shuttle to the airport worked out very well. We drove to Boston's north end for a wonderful Italian dinner and getting back and forth was simple and straight forward. We found that the room telephone did not work when we attempted to contact the front desk to retreive our car from the valet parking. Also, the television stopped delivering all the channels...it intially worked with all channels but then a number of them "disappeared" which was disappointing. It would be better, also, if Pay per View was available as we would have enjoyed staying in and watching a good movie before an early morning flight.
Beds were good, lounge downstairs was nice, good breakfast, nice outdoor sitting area with gas fire ledge. Having to tip toe around the entry, lobby, and elevator area while a rather large crew of guys used somewhat loud equipment to clean & scrub floors. Had to be careful getting around because floors were wet from entry all way to elevators.
Very quiet, friendly staff, delicious breakfast.
We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel was a good surprise. I was expecting regular accomodations and service but the room and bathroom - not to mention the staff - was way better than just regular. Considering the prices in Boston hotels, even if you have to drive or take the train downtown everyday to enjoy your turism, it is worth staying at this Confort Inn. I have only good things to say. :-)
Hotel was nice and clean. Maintenance was somewhat lacking (bathroom door latch broken). Pool was comfortable. Quiet location - a bit difficult to find at first. Would stay again. Hotel employees were extremely nice. Good value.
It was affordable and perfect for a family of 5. Beds & pillows could be a lot better and bathroom needs to be updated however for the price & clean rooms, I would stay there again.
Anonymous from CA: I found this hotel to be extremely clean, quiet and safe. It totally met my needs for a week-long stay. It was somewhat difficult to find at first; perhaps more signs on the street leading to the hotel might help. The location was a little inconvenient if visiting Salem (yet convenient to the Interstate), but it was extremely reasonable,.
Nice and clean room, but a little small. Nice and functional kitchen. Good for extended stay on a budget.
Hotel rooms need upgrad overall. Rest of hotel seemed very clean and staff very helpful.b
We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchens were great and the staff was very friendly. The kids loved the pool, I loved the patio w/ the grill and my husband loved the wireless highspeed internet. A little something for all of us to enjoy!
The room was ok but very dated and dirty. Staff was friendly - provided a few menus and gave recommendations of nearby restaurants that delivered. Kids enjoyed the pool. Free breakfast was good. Hotel was located close to Salem, MA for Halloween festivities.
We Love this hotel it is a perfect place for little money when you have 3 kids. Nice kitchen area so you dont have to eat out all your meals when traveling with kids. We stay there often and wil continue to stay. Thank You for providing a great place for a wekend getaway that all family's can afford.
This place is filthy. Beds and furniture literally falling apart. I think this place houses indigent people from the state as some truly sick people seem to LIVE there. The gent at the front counter was rude and uncooperative. I booked this dump for a week and stayed just a couple of days. I couldn't wait to get out of town. ps...you pay for the internet and the food is unedible.
We stayed for one night (Friday to Saturday). The rooms are nice, but there was all kinds of noise above us, literally from our check-in time (4:00pm) until 10pm. Called desk and asked what was going on. She said she'd take care of it. Noise still happened, so we were moved to 111. Bed was a bit hard, and the couches are insanely UNCOMFORTABLE, even to sit on. Saturday, we went to get breakfast in the morning, and was told that breakfast is only offered Monday-Friday, so we packed up our stuff, checked out, and didn't look back. We did like that every room had a little stove, a fridge, dishwasher and microwave, but we didn't even use them, since we were there one night.
I found the hotel to be excellent. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly, and the hotel is close to Boston. I will book with this hotel when I visit the Bostron area again.
This hotel was the filthy. The worst place i've stayed. I suggest you not book there for any reason.
I liked the bed and how comfortable it was. The hotel was clean. I didn't like that every morning around 8:00 I would be awaken by the loud talking of the housekeeping staff. It was as if they congregated around our room and were yelling towards the door. It was horrible!
The cafe was excellent and very convenient. So nice to sit on the sofa and watch football. We love Starbucks coffee! Also, we had forgotten some things, and the staff provided them for us. They were also quick to send housekeeping to our room when needed. The hotel was quiet, and there is a mall across the street. Great stay!
The room was super comfortable, the refrigerator came in very handy, and the bathroom was beautiful! I enjoyed the lighting in the room being rather soft than in-your-face bright, I loved my stay in your hotel. N/A
Very seemingly new hotel - everything very clean, updated. Didn't get a chance to take advantage of the breakfast since we had to leave too early, but appreciated the chocolate chip cookie offered at check-in! Staff was *extremely* friendly, together, and helpful. Free parking, and they also have an airport shuttle if you need it. Great hotel! Keep up the good work! Bed maybe a tad uncomfortable, but I did have too much coffee that night. (Pillows were huge.)
An excellent Hampton Inn! Has a on-site lounge and restaurant...staff was fantastic...free parking saved me 50-60$ by itself as most hotels near Logan Airport charge for parking...all in all, was pleasantly surprised by this place Nothing
Clean, comforable room, with free shuttle to airport
Great rates, typically good Hampton, and small bar for drink and food if needed
I was impressed that there was a choice of hard or soft pillows.
clean and well kept, comfortable sleeping
The Staff was very helpful as soon as we checked in. The Hampton Inn is just a few minutes from the airport so it is the best choice to stay before your flight out the next day. The shuttle took us to our gate.
Describing it as Logan Airport is misleading. Expected it to be closer
Shuttle Service Airport location Food Nice room High cost
Eating facilities at arrival and breakfast.
When we had a problem with our room they changed it relatively quickly. They also have a shuttle from the airport to subway to take into the city which was convienient. We got to the hotel around 9. As soon as we got there the receptionist called someone on the phone speaking Spainish. Obviously about our room. I guess she didn't realize my boyfriend spoke spainish and could Understand there was a problem. When we got to the room there was a yellowed old ozone machine in the room and the room smelled like smoke and marijuana covered by an insane amount of room spray. I went to the hall and told the cleaner and she came in and acted suprised...while trying to sneakily remove to old air purifying machine they had forgotten. They switched our room easily however they double charged me for our new room. Very poorly handled business. Just make sure you watch your step there.
Due to the free parking and location close to Boston is a good choice for to visit the city and sorroundings (Rockport,Salem...). Free wifi. Clean Only 1 computer for the whole hotel
The carpets had visible stains all over them. Other than that, I'd say the room was pretty clean and inviting. It was kind of a bummer when the carpets ruined the overall vibe of the room.
Excellent location! Wide range of restaurants and shops around. Very close to Boston.
It is located on a busy, business oriented highway. Nothing special about ambiance, but the rooms were clean, good size and beds were comfortable. Registration staff were efficient and pleasant. Just not the type of place that I would want to hang around. Good overnight and go type place.
Nothing Everything. Website states that hotel has easy access to the commuter rail into the city. This is incorrect. It is outside of the shuttles "travel zone" and when we inquired about getting to the terminal we were coldly told that we needed to take a cab that would cost $35-40 every trip. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. We were made to feel like an inconvenience whenever we inquired about using the hotel shuttle. Will never stay again.
Staff was really friendly and the sheets were super soft. Our bed skirt had multiple rips in it hanging down, there was a hole in the lamp shade, our bathtub leaked onto the bathroom floor and the leather was peeling off the bed post. The whole floor we stayed on also wreaked of cigarettes.
It was clean and comfortable. Listed online as having shuttle service to airport. It doesn't.
Unfamiliar with the Boston/Logan Airport/Peabody area, I arrived at the airport and called the hotel -- asking if there was a "cheap" way to get there, not having a car. I was told a taxi cab was the only way to come if I was not driving myself. Through a little digging I eventually learned that there is indeed a bus service running about every 1/2 hour from the airport to Peabody (the Logan Express). Why the hotel clerk could not have known that, I can't imagine. That lack of local knowledge on the part of the hotel staff really upset me.
Having my wedding there in August 2016
Room was clean, bed was good, breakfast was pretty good
it was fine for what we needed - a place to sleep. Free breakfast and coffee 24/7, staff quickly got us extra blankets and pillows. Could hear people outside of room, pull out couch was very uncomfortable. Room smelled odd when we first got there.
Relatively new, suite clean, breakfast more than adequate parking is first come, first serve, breakfast area crowded, first floor entry cramped and claustrophobic
Staff was professional, friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean and well appointed. The pull out couch bed was awful! It was like a bed of springs with a blanket on top. Pretty much like sleeping on a bed of nails. Sleeping comfortably is the main focus of a hotel stay, so this was very disappointing.
Hotel Employee at front desk excellent! full kitchen. noise from outside - thin bedding/towels - overall though as expected - no real complaints

The clean room with a fireplace and decent free breakfast and evening snacks. The friendliness of the staff was an added bonus. Unfortunately, it was -9 and the pipes froze in our building so we woke up to no water. We had to move 3 times, since the 2nd room didn't have a fireplace, then the 3rd didn't have closets. No compensation was offered for incident.
I had stayed at the knights inn 5 years ago with my husband and kids. It was a great stay. When booking this trip with my daughter, I was a little worried because I had read some awful reviews. I don't know what they were talking about, our stay was just as good as the first time, if not better. It was clean, quiet, and the beds were more comfortable than our first stay. Breakfast was a selection of bagels, cereal, yogurt etc. And coffee is always available. I would definitely stay here again. For those who wrote the awful reviews ,I have no idea what you're talking about. Keep in mind this is not a big fancy hotel, it's a motel. The price is right ,staff is friendly, and rooms are clean. What more could you ask for?
The friendly staff ....the environment very quiet &peaceful. ..... The roads are bumpie cracked....only one key too a room..need washers &dryers...
Bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The blanket had not been changed since last visitor, we had to park in a different area than where our room was, and did not like the door that separated us from the room next door. It did not look secure.
Very affordable, not too frilly. We just needed a place to sleep and this was perfect! It looked grungy from the outside
rooms were clean, front desk was helpful Price is to high for area
Friendly staff Clean rooms Close to Boston and Salem Inexpensive Breakfast hours were a bit short Road noise
Nice rooms, pool (a little small but not busy so it didn't matter for us) and whirlpool. Great hot breakfast. Close to highway. Excellent value for the price. If it cost as much as some other hotels in the area I wouldn't give it such a good review but for the price it's great. Clean too and we were able to check in a little early. Sofa bed mattress is quite uncomfortable, though they always are. I thought little shampoo bottles were usually standard but not included here - I found my own but I assume it's available on request. View is not great - highways on both sides and a grungy pond on the other.
The rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable with many interesting modern design elements. The complimentary breakfast buffet was great and the location was conveniently close to Boston. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Close to lots of stores, restaurants and other shopping needs. Busy section of Route 1 to get in and out of. It took us a while to safely get out during rush hour traffic. The hotel is close to a turnaround though so that's a plus.
Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable although perhaps slightly smaller than I was expecting. We were on the top floor near the end of the hall which made our multi-night stay nice and quiet. We would stay there again. The entrance is hard to spot at first and since the hotelast is on a divided highway, if you miss it, it'seems a nuisance going past it to the next exit, going back the other way to the exit and then driving to it again.
The rooms are comfortable. This hotel is not equipped with a larger fridge and there are not some of the amenities you find in other extended stay hotels. The hot tub was broke and we were never told of that when we booked or upon check-in, it was a surprise. The elevators certificates were out of date so that made us uncomfortable. One by 2 years! The staff was friendly..the buffet in the morning is by far the best part of this hotel. They offer far more options than a typical hotel buffet. Would definatly stay here again the proce was right.
The staff was kind and courteous. We made several requests which were responded to astonishingly quickly. Our room was beautifully decorated and was very well-suited to our needs. Our group was a teenage son and his parents, and the layout of our room kept us all comfortable. The room had the sleeping space separated from the sitting area by a partial wall, and the sitting area included a sectional sofa, a desk and a kitchenette area with a sink, microwave and refrigerator. The space allowed us to keep our own schedules without annoying each other or bumping into each other. The breakfast was very nice, very high quality. We would stay here again on our next visit. Although it's not in the downtown area, that's a small trade-off for a very reasonable price at a very fine hotel. The beds were softer than we like.
Breakfast, pretty clean and nice room. Not really. Just far from the city.
room were clean and spacious web site stated shuttle to airport!! No food in hotel in evening
spacy room, clean swimming pool unsufficient for swimming; transport to next subway quite a distance (but Hotel car can be used), view towards a highway/ cement factory
Simple to find, not TOO far from Boston, though you'll need a car to go closer and take public transportation from a Park and ride parking lot - 5 $.Breakfast is not so ggod, but included, nice lobby, friendly staff The place, ugly, between highways
Corey at the front dest was extrememly personable and helpful. Great continental breakfast, comfortable beds. I'd stay here again if I needed to stay in the area again.
Nothing special. Staff was courteous, had a corkscrew I could borrow and had an order-in pizza place nearby. Airport shuttle ran on time. Storm had knocked out cable tv.
It was close to the airport. We missed the free shuttle from the airport, because we arrived late, and didn't know that they stopped at 11pm, so it cost us $30 for a cab. It had no breakfast.
The room was very nice. Beds were extremely comfortable. No complaints. Staff very very friendly and helpful.
It looked nice. I was about to go to bed I took out the blankets and noticed small things crawling my son looked up google to see how bed bugs looked and it looked exactly. I told the front desk he came up and checked and told me it looked like tics. I was very upset all he told me was I am very sorry this has never happened. and switched me to another room which I did not sleep at all. didn't even offered me a discount or a free night. never again don't recommend to no one. the area is very ghetto and scary to stay at.
Diana was very helpful! Traffic, not much the staff could do about that.
Staff was nice. They had a free shuttle to and from the airport that ran every hour starting at 4am, and they offered to pick us up from the Wonderland exit of the T . All we had to do was call them once we arrived at the station. They also offered an early check-in, albeit for an extra $25, but that was nice for us. The hotel was in a somewhat scetchy looking area of town. In fact, my husband and I decided to walk the about 5 min walk from the Wonderland exit of the T back to the hotel at 10pm on a Saturday night (he's in the military so we were not too concerned about being safe)and I was, in a sense, assaulted on the walk. As we passed a group of 4 teenagers walking the opposite direction, the girl passing me put her full force into hitting me with her shoulder and elbow in the ribs. I thought she had bruised my ribs it was so hard. She also did it to the couple walking in front of us. So, not a neighborhood to walk around at night, even in a group. Also, the hotel is situated right next to a very busy three lane road and even with the windows closed the noise of the vehicles outside was pretty loud on the third floor. Another couple we spoke to said they were on the floor below ground level and said they were constantly hearing people walking up and down the stairs and she couldn't sleep because of it. Not a place for the light sleeper. And the room was decorated nicely, but everything was very well worn.
The friendliness of staff, nice room, great shuttle service.
Helpfulness of staff. Location of hotel. Outdoor noise
They had a free shuttle to the airport which was great since I was alone and didn't have a car. My flight got cancelled and so I just needed a place to stay until my flight in the morning. The drivers were super nice. The receptionist was not very informative. I couldnt get into my room with the key, and she had forgotten to tell me i had to pull the handle up. They didnt have an elevator so I had to keep going up and down the stairs with my heavy bag to get this figured out. She had written the code to the wifi on my room key, but never told me, so I had lots of trouble getting on to the wifi. The walls are so thin and I could hear every little thing, including people walking down the halls and opening and closing their doors at all hours of the night.
This was selected to facilitate return of the hire car to Thrifty and then be transferred (by Thrifty) to Logan Airport. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the large, comfortable room with excellent facilities. It would be possible to pay much more and receive far less satisfaction. There were suitable restaurants within walking distance, and take-away was available for those preferring it. The receptionist was rather sloppy and one had to go to reception for tea and coffee.
The hotel was useful as a place to rest our heads on a through-trip. Staff was not great, varying from curt to rude and not helpful.
Comfortable and clean with all facilities working well. I had to catch a taxi as the aiport shuttle stopped running before my plane arrived.
Great experience. Friendly, helpful staff.
The hotel was close to the airport and offered a free transfer. The main "in-house" restaurant was Japanese therefore meals were slightly restrictive and if you were not keen on this style of cooking then you would have to search although there was a good bar just across the street.
I cant find my room in hotel, nobody help me...!
The room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the facilities and the free breakfast was great!
getting us to transit station and picking up in timely matter Very small bathrooms
Staff, easy check in, professional NA
A nice hotel, staffed by nice folks. Failure to charge on basis of pricing supplied with reservation.
Helpfulness of staff and provision of shuttle bus
Grounds, hotel, and room were clean. No funny smells, stains, etc. Room was nice for the value. Not much around, next to a strip mall. But very close to other bussling parts of the city, downtown, and the airport. Hot water in the room was not hot- tepid at best. Staff moved us immediately and took $$ off the room/bill.
The staff was extremely friendly and we loved the pool. The shuttle from and to the airport was also very convenient.
Shuttle to Logan Airport and Boston Subway. Shopping Strip Mall next door. Friendly staff.
I'm sorry, but this place for the money they charge was simply horrible. I felt like I was at a comfort Inn or a Redroof Inn. It really sucked to stay there..... I'm sorry, but this place for the money they charge was simply horrible. I felt like I was at a comfort Inn or a Redroof Inn. It really sucked to stay there.....
Excellent check-in staff, room very comfortably furnished, plenty of parking, very close to airport. Reasonable menu in the bar with good choices. Staff in restaurant not particularly friendly and had to wait longer than necessary to place an order for food as bar tender was chatting. Food slightly overpriced.
The hotel was fantastic value for money. The staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Shuttle bus was excellent, as was the restaurant and bar.
the hotel was less than 15 minutes from the airport, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. no
very clean room, very helpful staff, excellent service location is not the best but it served its purpose
The room is nice. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast service is good. They even got a library.
The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast on Saturday was very good and very reasonable. The location.
Front desk extremely helpfull, made the whole stay worthwhile. Recomended good connections to Boston. Shuttle service is first class. Rosa, at front desk, is extremely efficiennt and helpfull Area is kind of of beaten path. Directions to Logan Airport are kind of shaddy. Make sure you have a GPS
after arriving late from Europe, it was a wonderfully comfortable overnight stop prior to resuming our journey home the next morning. the fact that we clearly requested 3 beds in our booking, but the hotel were unaware of it, & although in the end they were most accommodating & gave us the 3- bed room, we had to get angry & wait an extra amount of time (being jet-lagged & weary)
Price and location relative to venue we were visiting. Tried to contact office prior to arrival and the phone just rang and rang and rang and rang, then rang some more. Answer the GD phone!!!!!
I booked this hotel because it was relatively inexpensive, near to the airport, and had wifi. When I checked in, the wifi didn't work and the staff wouldn't help make it work. I would have stayed somewhere else if I would have known I would have to drive to Starbucks to do my work.
Pot smoke smell
Due to the holiday weekend the facility was full & I couldn't change from 1 queen bed to a room with 2 beds when I found out my uncle was rooming with me but they told me I could get a rollaway. When we arrive at midnight, we were told there was only 1 roll-away & it was already taken. The clerk was vastly more interested in finding out who I had spoken to then in solving that problem. I finally had to nearly yell that he needed to focus on the priority at hand. We finally had him dig up some extra bedding and my uncle made a pallet on the floor. It was a ridiculous experience.
This was a last minute reservation. We needed a place that was close and inexpensive. We got what we paid for. We did not expect luxury at all but there were holes in the sheets from cigarette burns. Checking in was not a smooth process but it worked out.
Nothing Tiniest room and bathroom ever! Room had one chair and was dark. Would not return wanted non smoking as we have allergies couldn't accommodate suffered all night never again!
Staff very helpful. Close to airport. Parking limited. Very expensive. Vending machine sold out.
Price Tap wáter non drinkable
Breakfast was fine. Bathroom was clean. There were no extra blankets when requested. There was no ice in the ice machine. Clerk got ice out of employee refrigerator as my son went down twice thinking the machine had not made ice yet. Were woken up @ 8:00 by yard maintenance right outside our window. Overall, the establishment was very shabby. There was a parking lot in back where our room was but no parking was allowed.
Room had fridge and microwave So unclean
I checked in at 8pm. Went out for drinks. Came back around 12 to find my belongings in the lobby. I asked the front desk why my stuff was out and he continuously tried to tell me it wasn't my back pack. Once I proved it was he realized he made a mistake and gave my room to someone else because he thought the other guy was me. We got a room and everything was fine but if the second customer wasn't polite I could have lost my stuff. The front desk guy had 2 notebooks with unorganized notes and a stack of copied IDs in front of him which all seemed to be the issue. Am upgrade of the check in system is definitely in order.
The location Toi much noise and a bit inconfortable
The inn was very clean. The bathrooms were nice. The innkeeper was very friendly. The common kitchen is very useful to have. I made coffee in the morning and if we'd stayed longer we would have utilized it more Nothing
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful and the view was gorgeous. The room was smaller than expected but I still thought it was a good value.
The staff was friendly; the beds were very comfortable; being right on the harbor was nice; the Inn is close to Boston, but quieter, and it was pretty fast and easy to get into the city by car; the room was clean and the kitchen was fine for basic cooking, had we wanted to do that. We really only wanted a "home base" while in the area for college visits, we didn't plan on staying too much in/around our hotel and exploring from there. I would stay here again, but I would like to try the main building next time (I assume the room views are better there), we were in the Annex building, next to the office. I would also work out the best way to get to the T next time, I prefer that to driving when possible. There is a small neighborhood park/playground across the street, which is good for families with small children (and it seems like there are pickup basketball games there often). The room felt a bit cramped; the TV was on the wall above one of the beds, so we had to watch it from the table and chairs or sitting on the foot of the bed; the thermostat for our room was in the office; and the neighborhood doesn't have much in the way of restaurants.
Value for money.
It was easy to find from Cambridge. It was quiet at the time due to fewer tourists. It was close to the airport for my next day flight. The bed was very soft-hard to sleep:).
Close to the airport. Different from where I normally stay. Loved waking up and seeing the boats and the city view was also nice. Airplane noise but I'm up early anyway.
Beautiful view Nothing
Great value, huge clean and comfy rooms. Honestly no complaints, totally loved it.
Great location for logan airport and views.
Staff welcomed me afterhours with my late arrival. Had to call them but they quickly responded and was very helpful. It was quiet there. Wonderful panoramic view of the Boston skyline. Located across the street from a Marina. There is a harbor water taxi I understand, though didn't have time to explore this. My stay was one night prior to a 6:45 am flight out of BOS. What is the difference between "not like" and "complaint"? I had none of either.
We booked late same day and were delighted with cleanliness and amenities, friendliness of staff despite late night check-in.
The room was very updated and romantic.( We stayes in 214) The balcony was one of the waterfront rooms and was such a gorgeous view. My boyfriend and I are both military and travel a lot and we agreed this place had the cleanest bathrooms we have ever seen. The lady who checked us in was very sweet and it was a very stay. Overall this is one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in. The bed was unbalanced but we fixed it by putting a pillow under the side closest to the door.
We went to do a scuba diving trip for two days in Cape Ann. Hotel is nothing special suits the purpose basically for sleeping. Microwave and kitchenet is convenient but we ate out. Rooms were not very clean neither was the hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights recently on a trip to Boston. The hotel was not fancy, but quite sufficient for our needs. The kitchenette was very nice to have, as we heated up a few meals in our room. The room and the rest of the hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and willing to offer restaurant suggestions anytime we asked. As others have said, if you are coming from the south it is hard to get to the entrance, but other than that we didn't have any complaints.
This is a very decent hotel for the price per night. (I can be overly picky about hotels) Upon arrival there was plenty a parking and most spots I could see my car from the room's window. The receptionist was very pleasant and had me set in a matter of 30 seconds. The room was clean, basic and had everything you'd need for a short weekend stay. There is a full fridge, stove TOP, microwave and toaster. There is also a kitchen sink and a few kitchen accessories such as dishes and pots and pans. All these came in so handy and helps with expenses if you have a half hour to spare to run to the store for a few groceries. Stop and Shop was only about 3 miles from the hotel. The only annoying thing was I could here the showers running from the other rooms over my bed. It wasn't to disruptive and only lasted about 20 minutes in the morning. There are quick stores right down the street and places to order which deliver to your room. Salem is only about 4 miles from this hotel and I think Boston...
THE PLEOPLE WERE NICE, HARD PLACE TO GET TO, HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET TO OTHER SIDE OF ROAD. CLOSE TO SALEM, HAD A GOOD TIME
This hotel was very dirty. There was mold on our air conditioning unit, stains on faucet, floor, trash left in pail uner sink (overflowing). We were greeted by fruit flies, full trash bag by our door. There was debris on carpet in hallway, stairwell, etc. When I inquired why I was told the maintenance man had to leave early. When I asked for manager there wasn't one working at the time (9:30Pm). There was no toiletries and no disposable cups. You could make yourself a cup of coffee but there was no way to clean mugs in the cabinet. With the way the rest of the place looked we didn't trust drinking out of them. We would never stay here again.
