Breakfast was extra, which I was unaware of.
Convenient for University and essentially clean and practical University student room
We wanted to stay as close as possible to the University campus and the location was ideal. There was a good choice of tea for breakfast and also in the room. Parking was also ideal for our day at the campus. I thought that the decor in the room in particular, and the hotel in general, was very tired and dated. I also thought it was expensive for the quality of the hotel. We stayed in a far smarter, grander hotel in central Leeds for the same price.
the food was very good and the room was ok good for the university the shower was quite slow and not the best
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. None.
Its proximity to the University Its proximity to shops/restaurants!
The staff was great, mainly students but extremely educated and mannered. The hotel is made up of several "hourse", I stayed in a newer one. Excellent confort, cleanliness, tea and coffee facilities. Extremely good location for the University. Otherwise, it is "far" from the city. The swimming pool is not on site, but belongs to the University Sport Centre.
Clean room and wonderful breakfast
no internet connaction in the room
lovely setting next to Winterbourne gardens and close to Barber Institute. easy to reach using University Station. Good breakfast!
Willingness of hotel staff to answer our needs, e.g. a snack lunch at around 14:15 and the quality of that lunch when provided. Excellent, polite and friendly service
very disapointed shared toilets- and very cold
the decor was aged and the shared bathrooms left a lot to be desired
Booking quick and efficient Room small, facilities poor, ensuite door seemed to be taken out of the ark!!!
Price Unclean, unfriendly and strange staff, poorly located, unsafe and unfit for staying in. Very disappointing!
Staff very accomadating to our needs Rooms were a bit cold
Nice location, quiet grounds and tree-lined street. Close to the university and good Indian restaurants. Good value for money - my room was clean and adequate with a pleasant view of trees. I enjoyed my breakfast There wasnt a shower on my floor only a bath. There was only instant coffee not real coffee for breakfast. The milk was off, but staff quickly replaced it and were apologetic. The TV was very small, black and white with poor reception
very central for shopping would use hotel again in the future none
Very friendly staff. Convenient location for Birmingham University. Very small room.
Old facilities, noisy room, WiFi erratic, breakfast rather poor
