Very close to shopping and dining Very hard to find at night for someone not familiar with Brindisi
The receptionist at the hotel was first rate, extremely helpful and made us very welcome. The hotel was very comfortable, excellent standard, and very well located for the centre of historic Brindisi.
The accommodations were very good. The bed was comfortable and the facility was spotless! Breakfast was wonderful with many choices. The wireless internet service was not working during my one night stay.
Location; breakfast No
Good infrastructure in the centre of the city
It was a very nice stay at this Hotel. Alround it was a super hotel. not that i can think of.
The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent. The wireless internet really worked. Nothing to report.
The people at the desk spoke English, which was helpful. There was a free computer/internet, which we did not find at other Italian hotels. Breakfast was very nice.
Convenient location with pleasant, helpful staff. Very good breakfast for an Italian hotel.
The location was perfect, the hotle looks wonderful, the hotel itself is very good. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no cups, only week plastic, there is a minibar, but no glasses. The hotel staff was already in a slow winter mood
The staff were great. The receptionist was terrific, going out of her way to help me find the location of a business I had to visit. Rooms were large with every comfort a traveller could need. Great location right on the harbour front overlooking the sea and within walking distance of the main shopping centre and loads of restaurants. Would return. No drinking glasses in the room even though there was a mini-bar. I suppose I should have asked but didn't so my fault!
I liked the style of the furniture and the effort to preserve the historic atmosphere of the early 19th century. The slow speed of internet services rendering it ineffective.
Beautiful hotel We didn't receive anything but a cup of tea for braekfadst because of an early leaving to the airport, although I had asked it in advance at the booking and we paid for a breakfast.
Hotel reception staff were very helpful and available at all times. The location is beautiful right across the street from the harbour. Our room was looking a bit tired there were stains on the walls and the carpet was in need of repair or replacement.
Very little. The receptionist tried very hard to find a room which we were happy with when we first arrived, and was very helpful. But this is a very, very tired hotel which does not, in my opinion merit a 4 star rating. The hotel desperately needs a complete makeover. The foyer is covered with a rumpled faded dirty carpet which is ready for a skip. We accepted the third room we were shown. The first non smoking room stank of smoke, the second had a broken toilet seat, but the third was absolutely fine, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is completely DIY, as no tables are laid up and you have to get your own cutlery from an open drawer. Plastic glasses for the juice, and on both days I had breakfast there I was given a cracked jug for coffee and a cracked cup to drink it from. The cup was so well used that all the glaze had long gone from the rim! The only reason we did not cancel on arrival was because the other 4 star hotel was full.
Hotel with great old world charm - a bit worn, but none the less very charming and with a good location close to the main streets. Nice room with great sea view - and the best breakfast I've had in Italy.
nice place, good location and service
