2.0 Mediocre
Cons: You guys offer hotels of 3 Stars that is n reality 1 star Sorry, but I waist my money.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Architecture and location.
Cons: No
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is inside the town proper in Mayagúwz Puerto Rico and features arquitecture typical of latinamerican towns in the beggining of the 20th centrury. It was quiet and beatiful, simple and elegant. It was not luxurious but it was worth the money spent. The hotel seems to have been initially intended for a monastery and repurposed into a hotel. It features a host of religious pictures and themes, however it is not the type of in-your-face setup that would really bother a reasonable individual.
Cons: The hotel does not have a lot of parking space, although did not have a problem finding a spot in an adjacent street. The room was small and would not recommend it for a prolonged stay or if you actually needed to spend time working inside the room. Additionally, the rooms seem not to have been designed with a bathroom in mind. Hence, the bathroom is very small and cramped. Nonetheless I am a big guy and could do everything, with the bath door closed.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Excellent unique hotel with a rich history.
Cons: Breakfast was typically terrible like every other american hotel.

Mayagüez Resort & Casino - Mayagüez - Pool
7
8.2 Excellent (2,162 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Tucked into the Mayaguez suburbs in Puerto Rico is the Mayaguez Resort & Casino. The location is only a 15-minute drive from the airport, as well as quick trips to other area attractions. The property itself has a lot to offer also. Guests have their choices of 210 rooms that are either a Superior Room or the Standard Double Room. The rooms feature air conditioning, flatscreen TVs, desks, free WiFi, refrigerators, coffeemakers, and hairdryers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms have either a bathtub or a shower. There are also phone lines with voicemail if needed. The Mayaguez Resort & Casino has a restaurant called El Castillo that serves cuisine inspired by the local area. It’s open for all three meals and items are chosen a la carte style. For having cocktails, guests can go to La Veranda Terrace or check out the sports bar. Not far away is the Mayaguez Mall, a market where some local fare can be found. Just a mile and a half from the Mayaguez Resort & Casino is the Dr. Juan A. Rivero Zoo. There’s also an art museum and an ecological park not far away. The resort has a casino that guests can enjoy during their stay. The University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus is close, as well as Buye Beach, the Yaguez Theater, and Isla de Ratones. The Mayaguez Resort & Casino is a resort in Puerto Rico that offers an amazing pool that features entertainment many nights. The casino gives guests that thrill of possibly hitting it big on vacation. There are beautiful beaches not far away and other local attractions, too.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The pool
Cons: They need a renovation the bedrooms are super old and moldy
2.6 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The worst hotel ever seen. dirty, old, and so expensive. Please don't go there!!!!!!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: This place is terrible. Lines for check-in exceed 45 minutes due to slow staff and inefficient processes. People cut in line and this is tolerated by staff which makes those waiting have to wait even longer! I complained to Mrs. Garcia (event director and the Manager on Duty) and the next day, still no change. The rooms are run down and furniture came from the 60's. It is like staying at a Motel 6 built in 1960 that has not been updated in 60 years. Run down and old. I have stayed in hotels all around the world. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for service and comfort.
6.5 Good
Pros: The water park is loads of fun for kids, especially the lazy river
Cons: Check in is slow as molasses The rooms in the old building are just that, OLD! The bathrooms are really small with little to none counter space. It felt like a roadside motel room instead of a resort hotel.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: I like the hotel location
Cons: Pictures online were deceiving !! I guess that there is a new tower but if you used a thislrd way party company to purchase a reservation, they put you in outdated very uncortavle rooms, there was even mold and we had to kill a roach in the tub!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is located in the historic Mayaguez downtown. It is next to the historic Mayaguez Cathedral built in the 1700's, La Plaza de Colon and a block away from bars and clubs. Hotel is historic as well, as the building used to be a monastery. Rooms are clean, very comfortable, and staff are very nice and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast is mediocre, but right across the street is Ricomini Bakery, a Mayaguez favorite. Church starts ringing the bells every 30 minutes rather early in the morning.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: Front desk staff did not have change available(coins), for laundry service.
6.5 Good
Pros: It was located at a pinturesque spot on the town. The building has history. It had a unique architecture. The room was very comfortable. The parking was good.
Cons: Some corners of the building needed a little painting. The included breakfast was mostly a little snack. Sometimes there were hair in the bathroom after cleaning.
