10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel resort is very nice, the staff is helpful and nice, free parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious, with good beds. There are a lot of bugs at night in the hallways and outside, but not in the room luckily. It was no problem. The breakfast is very good - they have everything you want! I would definitely stay here again next time.
Cons: The pizza was horrible - not well cooked and tasted like raw dough. Not recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant facility
Cons: The service at the restaurant. Was very slow.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Súper comfy bedroom , loved the pool area and the breakfast was amazing! Staff on reception were great!
Cons: The staff and lifeguards at the poolside area and bar were not very helpful and a bit rude.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is spacious, food is very good, and the room and bed are very comfortable.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The pool is nice and have a good bar service inside
Cons: In my room rate the Dinner was included but actually is not a buffet or Menu where you can select a wide of options. In fact I just had a limit of USD 10 to select a meal from the menu, can you believe it? What do you eat for dinner with only USD 10? I was pissed off because the Hotel is far away from restaurants, besides I have big expectations with the Hotel. I found very disrespectful when I realized that the aparently Dinner Included in the rate was just a bonus of USD 10 to eat what you can select from the Menu with only USD 10. That's not Dinner, give me a break. Furthermore, I think the waitress service needs some training.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Very accommodating staff. Jonathan in the restaurant team was terrific. Very friendly, good English and always willing to help. Thomas was great as a coffee plantation guide. Happy to answer my stupid questions, great English and was passionate about the topic. Reception staff very helpful. 2. The room I had was basic but suited my needs. 3.The grounds themselves are lovely to walk around and the hotel part is quite beautiful.
Cons: 1.Some of the food selections are a bit hit or miss but the only truly bad item was quickly resolved by staff. 2. Beautiful pool but the water is too cold. Needs to be a couple of degrees warmer I think. 3. No minifridge in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great views and place
Cons: Water supply stops sometimes
8.8 Excellent
Pros: That you are surrounded by the coffee plantation and nature. Thomas, the coffee guide, is very knowledgeable and gives an extensive explanation about coffee. The views from the pool and jacuzzi are beautiful.
Cons: The A la Carte food at the restaurant is not that great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: pretty relaxing! everything was great. Very good food at the restaurant.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Infinity pool overlooking beautiful valley amid small cafe farm. Staff was excellent
Cons: It was very very noisy as common areas are right outside and above rooms and bus loads of people arrive late at night and left early in mornings and despite the feeling of being isolated could hear main highway coffee tour was over priced and included finger painting
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is marvellous, with fabulous views across the hacienda and the countryside, which could also be appreciated from the very pleasant swimming pool. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee tour, offered in compensation for my extreme disappointment with the rather sad little room assigned to me, was very interesting, with the guide and the bamboo expert, Don Jose, showing excellent presentation skills. The buffet breakfast was very good.
Cons: The information provided in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the description on booking.com is erroneous, as in false: most rooms are not set in the 'colourful, historic farmhouse'; and the rooms do not all 'offer beautiful landscape and swimming pool views'. The one assigned to me (photograph #1 of the 5 'standard' rooms, the others at least having some kind of view, or at least the advertised ceiling fan) had a window, next to the bed (zero privacy), looking out onto a corridor wall! Walls paper-thin. Where prices are considerably higher than local alternatives, this gap between description and reality is simply not acceptable. The restaurant food, apart from breakfast, is only acceptable: rather unexciting and definitely over-priced. This is a 'family hacienda', but it is run by others - no sign or feel of the family - who have rather obviously been instructed to focus on 'charging'. On arrival, the first thing asked for is the credit card to make payment, which, in the case of booking.com reservations, is totally unnecessary, since they already have the details. In any case, anyone arriving without a car would be hard put to 'do a runner'! Far better to be aware of this, and ask for payment of everything at the end, in a more decorous and less grasping manner. Reception agreed to do this, only on my insistence. While end-of-stay billing was swift and efficient, they failed to mention that the tip for restaurant staff was voluntary. The restaurant staff definitely deserved a tip, but personally I prefer to pay any tip directly to the person/people concerned. Either way, the hotel should be crystal clear about each and every one of their charges The sauna was out of order; this information was only provided on requesting the advertised facility.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice!!! The Hacienda is beautiful, the views, the pool and facilities in general. The coffee tour was exceptional, super recommended.
Cons: We were expecting a bit more from the coffee offered, the free coffee was not as good as the one they sell.
