10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, every person we encountered was so nice, outgoing. The appearance of the hotel was very nice, all the little extra touches are what made the stay amazing. We stopped at the same hotel on our way home, great again. The Lake is nice feature.
Cons: That we weren't staying longer. Pillows were the only thing we didn't love, they were not very comfortable or normal in size.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was what I would think a cloud would feel like.
Cons: Everything was wonderful, room was very clean, spacious, bed was dressed very invitingly. Had easy access for charging my electronics. Staff was very courteous and friendly, after checking in, we received a call from a staff member checking to see if all was satisfactory and to see if we needed anything. Was a pet friendly room, but had no stains or odors in the room, was exceptional in that respect. Large shower with glass door was a definite plus, very nice. Missy, our small dog was very content. Thank you to all your staff and their professionalism. Location was nice and quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast choices for a hotel Friendly service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, slept comfortably in the bed, and their breakfast offerings were good tasting & filling. Coffee was hot & flavorful. It was a great start to the long drive ahead of us. Hampton Inn consistently delivers a high quality experience; I have patronized their properties (including this specific one!) for many years.
Cons: The only downside to my stay was not exactly in the hotel's control -- A fellow traveler somewhere in the building had a noisy dog that barked at length during the middle of the night. I did not contact the front desk -- rather turned over and put the pillows over my ears since I had a long drive to commence in the A.M. I did let the morning desk staff know upon check-out though; they were very considerate and helpful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about our stay! The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Our complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious. Our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Our service dogs loves it as much as we do!
Cons: The only complaint would be the exhaustion fan in the bathroom didn’t work. A real bummer if you to do something stinky.

Pros: Clean room and quick response to issues
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, the soundproof room, the staff was incredibly polite, the hotel upkeep was outstanding... being a Hilton Honors member for years now, I have never stayed at a Garden Inn before, and I was so happy with the experience, even if I didn't realize the whirlpool wasn't a two person jacuzzi, it was amazing for a night of relaxation.
Cons: "whirlpool" needs to be more specified- hard to understand online. Breakfast cost.
7.0 Good
Cons: The tub was small, couldn't relax and enjoy the jet spa
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great . You could order certain eggs and such. The place was in a centrally located area, close to eateries and shopping.
Cons: The hot tub room wasnt what i expected. The tub was fairly small.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were comfortable. The front desk staff were amazing. The young man - Terriel - that checked us in and was there most evenings paid exceptional attention to our needs as we were traveling with a baby. Once again the hotel has an amazing staff. We had our breakfast included with our room, it was wonderful, not just a "continental breakfast" - made to order omelettes, as well as a buffet and fresh fruit.
Cons: Limited coffee in the room, although it wasn't a big deal because of the awesome front desk staff. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom, although again not really a big deal. All in all there wasn't anything to truly dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for all the shopping venues
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Reliable. Always what I expect.
Cons: Long black hair all over shower walls, shower curtain...they missed cleaning that area.

Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Room smaller then expected. The bathroom door was a smoked glass that was awful because you felt like you didn’t have privacy. They charge 14.00 a night to park in their own parking lot. We met my son there who is in the military and for tow nights stay it cost me 56.00 extra at checkout. The room for some reason had Sheetrock dust in the floor and all over the back of tv. Room didn’t seem very clean. They also charge for the breakfast. We had fun in the city but if I go back I won’t stay here.

Overview Reviews
Right in the heart of downtown Columbia on the scenic campus of the University of South Carolina, Graduate Columbia blends historic grandeur with pops of prep for a stay that feels like home. Our South Carolina retreat boasts local charm, with Gamecock-inspired headboards and echoes of “Oot Oot.” Plaids, chevron and touches of grass cloth come together in guestrooms. In the lobby, bright colors and cheery florals pop against dark wood paneling. Take in the bookish surroundings at our lobby-level café, Poindexter Coffee, and fuel your muse with a caffeinated beverage or two.

Pros: Easy access on and off of I-20. Chocolate waffles were good. Stairwell & entrance very clean. Multiple plugs for electronic devices. Fridge & microwave. Wood / tile floors to replace old dingy carpet.
Cons: Needs to be generally spruced up. Should have 2 hand bars in the tub- one at each end. Shower curtain was too short. The bath mat was sopping wet when I got out. I didn’t like booking.com cutting off all other reservation choices!! At one point I got a confirmation letter with 1 king bed and 4 people . Pros: i hated everything about this property. i called ahead to see what the check in age was and told 18 twice by two different women before i booked it. got all the way to the hotel and was told the check in age was 21.
Cons: the staff was very rude and not helpful when i expressed to him that i was told two different times the check in age was 21.

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable bed. The hot breakfast was great! Very friendly staff!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely laid out room and great shower.
Cons: The breakfast left a lot to be desired. They kept running out of food, utensils and cups and no one was around to replenish. Food quality was mediocre. My other complaint is the room was 65 degrees when we got there. Easy to fix, but what a waste of energy (it was 98 degrees outside). They ran the dishwasher when they cleaned the room - for one bowl and glass. We hung our used towels on the towel rack intending to reuse them, but they replaced them with new towels. Non of this impacted our stay, but such a waste of energy.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Relatively new hotel with a friendly staff
Cons: One of my children slept on the pull out couch. When she woke up, she was covered with BED BUG bites. Not good and ruined an otherwise positive experience at this 8 month old hotel. Other than the bed bugs, I would have no complaints.

Pros: Umm... very little, the dried blood on the pillow cases and the cigarettes burn holes through the comforter were so pleasant I just couldn't contain how happy I was.
Cons: I had a confirmed reservation with confirmation number from a travel website (booking . yeah!) I provided this and they "couldn't locate it in the system" #1 travel website in the world, have a confirmation number and "they can't locate it". While this is going on I watch as couple after couple come in to check in or inquire about a room. Two couples check in and the rate is anywhere from $5-15 dollars higher per night than what the booked. This is not a mistake, it was in hopes they wouldn't notice. Deliberate rate hike scam. Back to me, the front desk clerk calls Mr. Patel, the hotel manager/owner and tells him the situation and what the rate is I have reserved as ($59.95 a night, its a football weekend and now they are selling rooms for $100 a night) He tells her not to accept it and only offer me the rack rate and he will deal with the refund on Monday. I ask to speak with him knowing a verbal agreement gets me no where if he "forgets" me Monday. He tells the clerk to tell me "He's off duty till 8 on Monday" Yeah, cute right? Well wouldn't you know it today rolls around (Monday) and he flat out refuses to honor the rate or issue the refund. Lemme translate, he wasn't going to get enough money out of me so he's decided to risk being thrown off every travel site over $60 dollars. Holy Greed Batman! Travel site calls them to tell him as much and he still refuses.... STAY AWWWAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! My first review of anything ever. Just trying to save someone!

Pros: it's location! It's so close to Cayce, SC, I can actually see my family and be able to stay close.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk personnel.
Cons: Breakfast was not the greatest, but OK.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was very understanding and had no problem when I asked for another room. If my money had been refundable I would have left immediately!!!! I did not feel safe or comfortable until I got in the new room on second floor. However, it was still dirty with stains on furniture but not as bad as first room. They upgraded me to a suite.
Cons: The site was under renovation...…….torn up floors, painting etc. I was not forewarned your site should have let me know!! Room furniture was filthy with stains all over it. Door latch lock was bent and rusty and did not work properly. I was on the bottom floor with old toilet bowls placed under my window outside. The pillow cases were stained and had hair on at least one of them. The hotel is under renovation and outside the room was half concrete and half old carpet. Due to it all, I asked for a different room. The bath tub in the 2nd room had stains in tub and after the rest of my experience. I was apprehensive to get inside. I have stayed in horrible places before and this was NOT the worse by any means , however, for the money I paid I was VERY Dissatisfied!

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The price was initially attractive and they allow pets for a reasonable fee. The two ladies working the front desk were pleasant
Cons: There isn't anywhere to actually walk your dog unless you squeeze through a line of bushes into a trash filled ditch area. The hotel is located on a dead end interstate frontage road and seems to have a fair amount of people living long term here. Upholstered chairs that were dingy brown were sitting outside a few of the rooms on the covered walkway, like it was some kind of patio. The rooms smelled of old cigarettes and urine. The walls around the sink, the bathroom door jamb and the walls in the bathroom were dirty and covered in unidentifiable flecks of filth. I messed up by not reading reviews, but my family was in town for graduation and reasonably priced rooms that allowed pets were scarce so my father had booked two nights here and I followed suit for one night. The place was so intolerably dirty that we just left and booked at a much nicer hotel for one night and took the hit to the wallet. I didn't even want to subject my dogs to staying there.

Pros: This hotel had been shut down a month prior for criminal reason. We did not figure this out until we reached the address which left us without a place to stay for the night.
