Location of the hotel was very convenient, easy to find and walking distance to food and shopping. First room we were given had very strong moldy smell. Gave me headache just in minutes of being inside. Asked for change of rooms. Second room smelled like chlorine, but wasn't worst than the first one so we settled with it. Beds were not comfortable at all. They sagged in the middle and mattress toppers were out of place with folds here and there. One of the towels in the bathThis had yellow stain on it. This was the worst experience among many Holiday Inns we have stayed in.
Location was great- your are right in the middle of Cape Cod and so can get to wherever you want to be. A great base.
Richard, in the reception, was a wonderful host!
The staff was very friendly. Room was neat. Nice continental breakfast. The sheets were a little rough. Lots of bleach... which can be a good thing too.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is easily accessible from the main roads and there is parking near the room. Supplies of bathroom and coffee were generous. The shopping mall next door makes an easy time filler between day and evening activity. A nice touch was to offer computer access for those who did not bring their own laptop. I did not like the possition of the hotel - it is on a main road with no pavements and far from the port and the beaches. For me personally I selected the wrong place.
The room was large and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Location is not central but is adjacent to a shopping mall (which has its advantages). Local bus service is very cheap and some routes pick up very close to the hotel.
location, front desk staff, free internet, pools breakfast room too small
Very quiet, very friendly, helpful staff, close to all points of interest. Will difinitely stay again. nothing to dislike.
Very friendly helpful reception staff. No problem about ordering take aways, reception staff said restaurants deliver to the room. Have m/wave, ice machine and hot drinks facilities in lobby. Room clean. Definately would recommend this. We had two rooms for our family of six.
Extremely friendly staff at the front desk - great value for money - fine rooms. We´ve been travelling all over the world for 6 months - this was one of the best value for money we´ve got. No
The room was big enough the breakfast was very poor
Location was great, 5 minutes from Hyannis and not far from several other towns. Close to great restaurants. It was a nice hotel for what I used it for and that was just to sleep. Room was sort of small, but housekeeping did well. Found several spiders first nights stay. Pillows were uncomfortable.
Clean and great location They charge 20$ a dog and when checking out they say that you didn't pay to get another 20$ out of you. Get receipts!!
The beds were very comfortable! The rooms smelled really bad, I had to air it out. Also, from the pictures on the website the rooms looked a lot bigger and they are really small.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was very small, not like pictured on web site. No closet. Clothes rack above desk, not very practical.
The hotel wasn't hard to find. The room was smaller than I thought it would be. The pool was closed due to the police. In the morning the continental breakfast was awful.
The only thing this hotel has going for it was the price. I did not like that we did not have a coffee pot in the room, and we stayed 2 nights and did not get room cleaning, not the beds made or clean towels for our second day....
The only thing that was good for us was that it was close to where my family was staying that weekend. The shower was cold in the morning, the TV didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work so the windows had to be opened and we were in a front room and it was difficult to sleep due to the noise from the street. The room was facing the main road so the noise level was quite high. For the price that I paid, I felt that the place should have been a little nicer.
The whole place was junk. The walls are so thin I might as well be in the next room with neighbors. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The shower floor was so old it was peeling away. The toilet ran all night and the furniture was very used at best
The staff were always very pleasant. It was very dated and smelly. The bathroom was dire. The door had massive gaps in it where they had changed the lock over to card operated locks and not bothered to do it right. You could also here if anyone farted in the next room. God awful motel
Really friendly staff!! Pool is not safe for children under 5 years old.
This place was pretty scary. The windows of the hotel look like they haven't been washed in years. There was water damage spots and paint chipping in the rooms. There was a giant jacuzzi tub which I didn't understand the purpose of. The bed/sheets seemed clean but the rooms in general were gross.
We loved that we were overwhelmed with the scent of bleach when we opened the three room door, to the point we even had to air out the room by opening the window. This might be a negative to some people but to us it means that we didn't have to clean the tub ourselves to be sure it was clean. Front desk person in the AM was very cheerful and efficient (can't say the same about when we checked in) Luckily my husband and I could tell the difference between clean and things (such as the mirror in the bathroom and the plug in the tub) needing replacements or updates (but I'm sure it is tackled on the off season.
Room smelled awful. Place was shoddy.
Not much Dirty and old. My wife yelled at me when we showed up, she wasn't happy with my selection.
The floor was wet and the air conditioner was loud and smelled bad.
The staff was not friendly. They were rude, yelled at us when we called to request extra towels. We were told by front desk breakfast was until 10:30. Went down at 10:10, and breakfast was over. Apparently it ends at 10. The man was very nice and apologized. He said we were the second couple that was told 10:30. Other hotel guests came up to us and asked if the blonde at the counter was rude to us. Apparently, other guests were yelled at by her as well. The room was disgusting. Ants were climbing along the window. The bed was broken and held up by a wooden board. The furniture looked like it was from the side of the road. And we stayed in one of the more expensive suites! I was told by a local this hotel is considered a "party hotel" for the locals. They don't keep it up because the locals trash the rooms. We are a couple in our mid 30's who were looking for a romantic night away. I would not recommend this. In fact, I have traveled all over the world, and have stayed at many other spots on the cape, and this is the first time I've taken time to write a poor review. I understand things can't be perfect all of the time, but this was horrible. Dirty, very rude staff. I cannot come up with one good thing other than the man who apologized to us for breakfast. You can get something much better, in the same location. Look elsewhere! It's worth the extra $20 to stay in a spot that isn't littered with ants.
The staff were very nice, and good location. Right on main at. The hotel was run down and needed some serious updating. The common areas were not very clean, especially the outside and lobby. The room was dusty and the carpet could have used a good cleaning. Not that big a deal. Was really quiet for Main St. The staff were really sweet. I've stayed at worst! Michelle
Jacuzzi in room plus huge shower with multiple shower heads for two. Booked room and stated included jacuzzi but when check in told not in room so had to upgrade & pay extra.
Nothing Room was very outdated and smelled. Bathroom was disgusting. However it was a slight step up from the first room they tried giving us that smelled like mold.
Spacious suite, relatively convenient location The decor and building layout reminiscent of funeral homes, and the smell inside the room reinforced that feeling. Things appeared old and tacky.
Not much. Room was filthy. You could see the grime built up on all the tables in room. All of the wallpaper in room and hallways is falling off. I've been coming here for over 20 years and they have never redecorated at all.
Location The jacuzzi in our room didn't work when we got there took them 3 hours to fix it. The tv only got one channel and was very fuzzy but they said they couldn't do anything about that and then the last night we where there we got locked out our room for over an hr because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the door turned out to be the batteries had died in the card reader and after another 45 min all the manager said was here are your new keys have a good night bye no apologies or anything
It was close to where I needed to be, there was ample parking, and the room was spacious for a historic home. The back yard and porch were beautiful. For starters, I have never stayed anywhere before that I couldn't lock my door! That meant that I took my computer every time I left the room. The overall look of the place was rundown and shabby. The sheets had holes in them, the vinyl window shades were ripped, and every time you pulled them down, you knocked the cafe curtains down, because they were just propped up. One of the window sashes was difficult to open and close, and I was encouraged to leave my windows up, and only run the a/c unit when I absolutely needed it. It all seemed very makeshift. The room was full of kitch! I also wasn't impressed with the quality of breakfast. I love historic inns, and have stayed in several, but was very disappointed with this one. And to top it off, I have stayed in better hotels in NYC for what I paid for this place!
Location and value for money Receptionist sent us to the wrong ferry
Comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor pools Both my rooms smelled really bad, one of them has empty liquor bottles in the dresser and the room smelled like the previous person to stay there spilled rum and vodka all over the floor, when we told the hotel they said they would send a person to clean up. The person never arrived when we returned to the main office the offered a can of Lysol cleaning spray. Both rooms also had a faint smell of cigarettes
The room smelled good and I liked the bathroom as it had somewhat of a European feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were in walking distance of Hyannis center, with lots of restaurants and the marina area. The room was basic and fairly quiet. The clientele spent a lot of time sitting with large parties in the parking lot. That was kind of strange. There's no gym. The breakfast didn't open until 8:00, and there wasn't much provided- hard boiled eggs, frozen waffles, juice, coffee from a machine, badges and cereal. Pretty crowded since everyone had to wait until 8:00 to eat. The hairdryer didn't work and the overhead lamp stopped working while we were there.
In an area where economical means $100+ this place does a good job of providing a clean, safe location that is convenient to all that Hyannis and Cape Cod offer. Free light breakfast, easy access to a busy main street and responsive management Wifi sorta sucked, well, actually it sucked a lot.
Location was close proximity to the harbor where we had to catch the ferry. Room smelled like smoke and musty. A/C should have been kept on. Continental breakfast selections were inferior Continental room is tight, we had to bring back the food into our room to sit down.
we were unable to stay because they did not honor our request for a handicap accessible room. very disappointed as it left us searching for a new place to stay.
Rooms were very clean, newly renovated, good water pressure, good hot water, big rooms. There was a breakfast room with good selection of breakfast items with staff bringing in more pastries at 5 mins before breakfast closed so everything was good. Great outdoor pool an great indoor pool. Makes one want to stay longer. The king size bed was great for me but my wife found it to be too hard for her to sleep on. We were on the first floor and could hear children running along the balcony at night and any jumping on the floor above us. But it was not a problem for us as the noise stopped before we went to sleep.
Pool was very dirty. Walls were greenish. We didn't go in twice
Both pizza parties were out of pizza before the half hour so my family didn't get any. there were kids running up and down hall banging on my door all day/night. I called front desk they said not much they can do because there's a lot kids there. So we didn't get much sleep. Line for breakfast was 30 min long.
The hot tub was very nice and the room was good sized. The staff was friendly. There was a very musty smell in the entire hotel.
We've stayed here before & remember it being "nice", it isn't so nice anymore. It needs updating!!! The 1st room we had was very stinky!! We asked for another room (because of the car below our room alarm was going off and the management couldn't find the owner!!!!) the next room was in a newer building and was fine. I'd think twice about staying here again......
Location, Cleanliness, Quietness, Value Some aspects of room.-.TV, Bed,Floor in bathroom could be updated
It was reasonably priced. Attractive grounds. Restaurant was good. Upstairs footsteps and creaking noise from 2nd floor. Annoying to room below. Second floor would be better to stay in.
good value for the price TV needs updating
A warm welcome despite our late arrival, along with good advice on things to do locally. The location was very convenient for exploring Cape Cod. Free wifi, a fridge and coffee maker in the room and a microwave nearby were all very useful, as was the hot tub in the indoor pool area. We thought that breakfast in the 50's style diner was a little expensive.
Prompt service in response to our request and issues.
The pools, arcade, restaurant and more! Extra fees
Facilities were very nice and the food at Grand Cru Wine Bar was excellent Too much room deodorizer made the room smell like a potpourri shop. Otherwise was very nice. Easy to get around from there. Nice pool and hot tub.
It's a very nice place to stay. Pools, restaurants, recreation for kids, everything in one place!! A fire alarm making noise at 1:50 and 3am
Close to the beach - No food amenities - The area has very limited options for activities - check out 11am!!

Great location, nice pool area, nice little beach front area, fire pit at night, plenty of parking Slow wifi
Current rating is just ONE star. So technically, this FAR surpassed a one-star rating and surpassed expectations on that level. Hotel has all the perks that the $--- a night place just down the road has, but for a way better rate. Friendly service too! The only thing that was a little difficult was that we couldn't individually control the heat in the room. Being abnormally cold for the end of March, we would have preferred a tad more heat during our stay. But with enough layers on, it was fine.
the room was clean and when they realized they made a mistake they gave me a free upgrade to the room the staff made a mistake on the dates I had booked to stay there. and argued for 15 minutes about this then realized they had made the mistake.
Modern bathroom, flat screen tv, clean room Noisy walking on deck can be heard from the room all night, no vending machines
the hotel over charged my credit card by 448.64 which left me 6 dollars to travel with for 4 days until it was put back. then the hotel did not match the listing. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone not even to people i don't like
Motel staff was very helpful. Air conditioning was loud. Rug needs to be updated. Pool needs to be warmer.
Conviently located to beaches, great restaurants and shopping Pillows and comforter need updating
Location and they allowed for 1 night stay in August.

Bathroom No tv remote in the room
We just needed a place to sleep and grab a quick breakfast while exploring Cape Cod. It did that Dusty underneath and behind furniture.
Location and security It is a shame that on St Pat's Day the piano bar was not open. We thought there would be entertainment as it was stated. There was little to choose from for dining.
Location, comfortable and clean rooms, including large and very nice bathroom. Rooms and beds are updated and very comfortable, except for the old and very noisy AC/heating unit. The grounds and pool maintenance have been ignored. The grounds completely and the pool lounge chairs are very old and uncomfortable. Also there used to be umbrellas by the pool. Now there are only 5 or 6 , half of which are broken
The front desk staff were the nicest of any of the hotels we have been to.
Very beautiful rooms have a modern look and the location is perfect there was no atm.
The hotel staff was wonderful. Hot cookie on arrival. the bar was so much fun. It would have been nice to have shuttle service from Airport.

Excellent staff,very nice atmosphere,
It is a convenient location - close to everything. It is clean and quiet. My company paid upfront for the room and I gave my VISA card at check-in for incidentals. There was a $732 hold at check-in and another $732 hold on my card the day AFTER I checked out. I don't think your front desk people know what they are doing. Pity.
Stayed there before quiet and nice rooms and coffee in AM
I could hear the people in the room next to us. Sound-proofing could be improved.
The comfort of the actual bed/pillows was awesome! The bathroom was huge and sparkling clean! The outdoor pool was the cleanest I've ever seen (with lifeguard present)! I can't wait to go back!
The hotel is very convenient to shopping as well as historic attractions. The staff is very attentive to details....Bartender was excellent and wait staff at breakfast was excellent. We were given lots of ideas for day trips by visiting the desk. We were not happy to learn that the restaurant was only open for breakfast until July 4th.........We arrived late and we could only get a sandwich at the bar.....

Staff,location and fitness center
Didn't have a room upon check in....was given a room key and walked in on another family asleep. Eventually given a room that was dirty. Management is a disaster. Never going back to this place ....
Good location close to bus terminal and visit the whole Cape Cod peninsula. Good breakfast buffet. Part of the hotel was under renovation.
Can't beat the location, walking distance to Hyannis center. Hotel is dated. Smells of must, chlorine and carpet cleaner, yet isn't that clean. Old and tired looking, needs an overhaul.
personal very nice, big rooms and the pools are great! Not enough plugs in the room... we couldn't use the fridge, the lamp and plug our cell phones....too bad!
The size of the bed & their heating system Yes there was no microwave
Simple & Clean. Good value for money. Nice pools for kids. Great waffles for breakfast. Bathroom/showers needs a little overhaul.
Rooms were great. Beds were comfortable. Not bad for the price. The bathroom was very small.
Comfortable accommodations, responsive and nice staff, pool and hot tub
i liked the pool and jacuzzi and the beach and shopping and clam chowwddaaa the adult pool hours need to be extended at night.
the so called deluxe continental breakfast consisted of sugar filled carbohydrate only. There could have been a greater choice of fruit and yogurts...........
Indoor, Outdoor pool, quick drive to the beach, included breakfast. Outdoor locks didn't work so you had to go the long way to get in, indoor pool was over chlorinated and hurt my eyes.
Breakfast is not hot food except pancake. Just serial food, bread, some fruits only. Inside pool is warm and good, but it's too deep for children at some areas.
Good service, very clean, nice pools, breakfast. We had a small problem with electric and they fixed it with the hour. No bacon at breakfast. People smoking outside the exits.
It was a clean comfortable stay...
pet friendly pillows
quite new hotel, located 10 min drive to the beaches space too small for breakfast, we had to wait to seat
It is a great value for money, the hotel is i a good location, surpassed my expectations. We were there at the end of the season, so the Main St.traffic was minimal. Breakfast included in the price, which makes my life ( travelling with a kid( so much easier, even if it is basic carbs, carbs, carns, bananan and yougurt type of breakfast;-) . The stuff was very nice, they gave us a room woth additinal queen bed, when learnt that we were coming with a small child. Things I would improve: the coffe in the morning could be a tad stronger, even by American standards, it was weak! Some people may not like having a room the only window of which open on the indoor pool: but it didn't botehr us much: after all we spent most of the time outside of the room and in the evening the pool closes at 9PM, so no more noise after then.
Good breakfast. Pleasantly surprised at how extensive its facilities were.
Clean rooms, excellent staff, very close to attractions but not like other facilities in Yarmouth that are too close and loud at night. Excellent breakfast. Indoor and outdoor pools very well run! Price was perfect for our large family with 2 rooms Not a thing! Even having CC Creamery next door was perfect!
very nice hotel, great pools, especially outdoor pool was amazing. Location was great, near many attractions and beaches. Breakfast was above average considering it was included in the price. Beds were just so/so, kinda springy. First room you walk into when you open door is bathroom, which is a little strange, its also where the mini fridge is located. But overall hotel was great, I will go there again!
