Situated on the north west slopes of the Peak District, Woodlands is a Victorian house which was built from local stone in 1886. The property’s award-winning tea room offers a daily selection of homemade soups, pies and cakes, and a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks. Free Wi-Fi is provided in each Woodlands room, as well as a king-size bed and panoramic views of the nearby hills. An en suite shower room and TV with DVD player are also included. A full English or continental breakfast is served daily from 08:00 in the conservatory (excludes apartment), with lighter options such as fruit and muesli also available. 2 or 3-course meals can be served for Sunday lunch, and a number of starters, main courses and desserts are available throughout the week. The Peak District National Park provides a picturesque setting in which you can enjoy scenic walks, mountain biking and water sports. A local village pub can be found in under a 10-minute walk and offers draught beers and homemade food.
