Pros: Car was ok
Cons: Kayak said car was at airport in Myrtle Beach. Not at all. After going to Hertz airport counter they said this has happened 20!times this week alone. After a 20 dollar cab ride we went to an urban Hertz location to get the car. Then another 20 dollar cab ride for the return.

Pros: The car I got was a Ford Focus. I loved it so much I am now looking into getting one myself. Fantastic gas mileage!
I thought the price was reasonable for what I needed.
Cons: The person who helped at arrival and drop off was a little low on customer service friendliness. He put off the vibe of just going through the emotions and was blah. The lady we spoke on the phone though was lovely. I was hoping to see her but never did.

Bad Car, Poor site!
Pros: I could only use the car for two days out of four because of the engine light (transmission light) stayed on. I could not reach anyone at the rental place, and they were closed on Sunday. Also, I had to pay $20.00 to go off site to get the car...what a drag.

Beware - facility is not at the airport
Cons: The rental location was not at the airport and required other transportation to get there which added to the cost. The location was in a strip mall and had probably 15-20 total cars. The car also smelled vaguely of smoke.

Received a very nice Nissan Altima and it was GREAT on gas!
Pros: The service and the car
Cons: The Hertz logo is black so it was hard to find the location of the building

Cons: The distance between the airport and hertz location was unreasonable. Drop off was not a problem but getting there I was not do again, any savings by renting away from airport was consumed by taxi service to pickup

Pros: Not much, but at least it ran and got us to where we needed to go.
The woman at the checkout counter at Myrtle Beach was very friendly.
Cons: The car didn't even have an Aux plug or USB port. It wasn't just a compact car, it was clearly very low quality. I rent cars regularly and this is the most basic car I have rented in years.
The insurance rates are also absurd...it cost more than the daily rate for the rental.
Cons: U normally have to walk very far with your bags in Charleston after u drop off car.

Great Agent there.
Pros: I'm glad the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Mall location is open on Sunday's. That is helpful. The gentleman working there that day was very courteous and thorough. He was busy, but always kept smiling.
The vehicle rented was fine, certainly suited my needs.
Cons: When I picked up the car and drove off I realized it only had under a 1/4 tank of gas. I immediately called, he made a note of it on my rental agreement. That's fine but inconvenient to say the least. I was told the car was returned the day before and they didn't have time to gas it (yet). The vehicle had a very strong cologne smell. Not deodorizer but a cologne.

Cons: The car was not ready when I asked it to be and they asked me to come hours later. I accommodated and then the car they gave me smelled awful, reeked!! I asked for a freshener, the atenednant said she didn't have one... then I tried to drive off, reverse wasn't working properly. The mechanic on scene said I was driving the car improperly -/ what??? I'm 30... I know how to put a car in reverse. Then I started driving and the transmission was having issues, the car would not switch gears even after reaching 6 or 7... I went back again. The mechanic said I was driving the car wrong, then I urged him to take a ride with me. Then he was like "oh, actually you're right.." are you kidding me???? I demanded I get a new car, the attendant just shrugged said sorry. I called corporate two of your phone attendants just hung up on me after I asked for a supervisor because they were giving me no help. I finally got a car because a lady dropped hers off and saw how distressed I was. She told me to demand to take hers. So I took her dirty car..... horrifically bad experience.
Pros: The size of the vehicle was good and the staff was polite.
Cons: To start we requested that we get a rental at the airport but was assigned a car rental offsite which caused an extra cost to get there. Once we were there the car smelled like cigarettes and ran poorly. They did not have another car in that category to rent so we took what was offered. Make sure when you book with kayak that you get what you requested before finalizing the transaction!!!

Cons: When I arrived at Enterprise they were understaffed. Had to call in workers and people waiting to rent cars. No car available for me until someone happened to bring a car in. Quickly they washed the car and gave it to me.
Honestly not happy. A lot of wasted time waiting around. :(
