Cancelled order because they tried to give a lesser class vehicle.
Cons: They did a bait and switch move. Defined the class of car we rented to a lower class vehicle that was way too small for our needs. We cancelled the order.

Pros: I did not get the rate I was told when I booked car online. When I arrived, they said they didn't have enough cars and third party (kayak) was overlooking. I had to pay extra for an upgraded of what they had available. The car was old and smelled bad!
Cons: Selection was little.

Good place to get a car but they don't have a ton of cars if you are late
Pros: The service and the counterperson. He explained how it was difficult to stock cars all of the time. I did not need my car the first day and he was explaining to me how that can be a challenge to get a car

Pros: We rented a van for a trip to see our son graduate. It was great.
Our only problem was we got a flat tire in the middle of the desert. Called Hertz and they found a tire for us in the next town. Got there on the spare tire and had to buy a new tire for the van. When we returned the van, the cost of the tire was deducted from our bill. While the cost of the van was more than other rentals, I will definitely rent from Hertz again.
Pros: I was in and out within minutes. The guys there have great customer service. They dress very nice and professional nowadays that's a very nice touch.

Rental from Laguna Beach rather than Cypress
Pros: I liked the ease of picking up the car closer than where I had originally booked the rental. The Laguna Beach Enterprise agent was able to cancel the original booking and provide a car where I was staying.
Cons: With the booking from Kayak I added insurance and while the original booking was cancelled, the charge for insurance has now showed up on my credit card. I will have to dispute this but just got back today. I hope this process will be easy.

Pros: The Enterprise associate Richard was courteous, efficient, and professional in every aspect.
Cons: I just wish that this particular Enterprise office provided walk-in services and not just by appointment only.
Cons: I was given wrong information when I called the budget hotline or customer service line. I was told I can use a debit card because I am over 25 and didn't need a credit card. When I got there first of all they had no cars at all... this was before I knew I could not use my debit card. They said they had 2 cars left.... a pathfinder and jeep compass. The people next to me just rented the pathfinder and then was informed the compass was not even on the lot. The lady was super rude!!!!! I rented a small size car and asked her since there are none here can you call another rental place to see if they have any. Was told it is to close to closing time. The overall experience was AWFUL!!!!!!!! the customer service was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not leave with a car. I told the lady I have no problem getting a credit card..... again left without a car!!! It was overall a HORRIBLE experience..... I do not take this out on Budget in general but the place that is renting your cars..... needs to be checked out!!!!!
