Pros: Room was clean., staff was friendly
Cons: The lights beside the bed didnt work, the hotel restaurant food was overpriced.
Pros: Very nice front desk people. Checkout was at 12 also!
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, much to do around the resort.
Cons: Website description states "whirlpool" in "room amenities". That was a deciding factor for us. We were disappointed when we showed up to typical two-Double-bed hotel style room.
Pros: Great views. Great amenities
Pros: This is really a great location, resort and the food was great for a State run park. Great breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and the area is very nice. Kids had a great time snow tubing and ice skating outdoors. Staff was excellent. Thanks
Pros: Great location and excellent facilities.
Cons: The food was less than spectacular. The meals in the restaurant were more like "conference center" food than an upscale restaurant.
Pros: ALL of the employees were very friendly and extremely helpful
Cons: the food was too expensive for the quality
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well managed. The morning breakfast buffet in the Hickory room was very good and well priced. It is close to major outdoor adventures. We will be back!
Pros: There was a lot to do. The view was breath taking. I loved all the huge windows that you.could see the great view.
Pros: Location was great. Staff not real helpful or friendly.
Cons: Staff not real friendly. Room not especially clean. I found change in the floor, gave me the impression that the floor wasn't clean. The trash can in the bathroom still had trash in it.
Pros: Cleanliness, polite staff and overall the resort had everything
Pros: Wonderful lodge. Has a fresh, new, upscale feeling. 3 years old and still looks a brand new. Rooms are big and comfortable. Highly recommend.
When you stay at Canaan Village Inn in Davis, you'll be in a state park, within a 15-minute drive of Canaan Valley Ski Resort and Blackwater Falls State Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Far from fancy. Just good, clean place to sleep. Convenient to skiing and many other outdoor activities. I stay there frequently. Satellite TV and WiFi. Easy check-in and -out.
Pros: I like that the staff was extremely helpful with giving me and my family places to go that was around in the area. Knowing what will be a good fit or looking up something for us. They help with directions to get to what sounded best.
Cons: The hotel is in the middle of everything around. So there will be a drive when staying.
Pros: Looked to be built in the 70's old style but great place to stay on a budget. Girlfriend and I went for a Christmas vacation to Ski at TimberLine ski resort. For the skiing the snow was terrible, icy. For the hotel well taken care of, bed was comfortable, and hot showers. If you don't need luxury stay here. Oh and pets are welcome, exactly what I was looking for. Friendly Staff. Munchies within walking distance.
Cons: Outdated appliances. TV stations were fuzzy.
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Can't beat the price. The room had a huge bathroom and the view was incredible.
Cons: The beds aren't very comfortable. There are no curtains on the windows. If you're like me don't count on sleeping in, blinds don't block sunlight.
