Pros:After reading reviews, I was a little disappointed in how dated the actual rooms were. Loved the property, but I was surprised that the paint in the bathrooms, the vanity and side dressing area were in the condition they were in. The room itself was comfortable and the two complimentary bottles of water were nice. Outside of the hotel room, we loved the property. The pool and cabana area were wonderful. The staff was professional and polite. We will return just for those reasons!

Pros:Had a geat stay! Staff was great moved to hptel from another hotel down street that was discusting The staff bent over backwards to get us right in our rooms so we could get ready for a 1:00 function we had to go to. Everything ws good rooms food bar pool and hot tub very inviting.
Cons:Paying for self parking it was accross and elevator was out of order..

Cons:Facility was a bit run down and could use some repair/updating. Window was broken in room so it could not be locked. Bits of garbage and someone's pill left in the carpet.

Cons:DIDNT GET THE ROOM WE BOOKED. WHEN ASKED IF I COULD GET THE ROOM I BOOKED WAS JERKED AROUND. HAD TO SLEEP ON A PULL OUT THAT WAS HORRID FOR 6 DAYS.

Pros:Great location, service, whole nine yards. Older, like 99% of the hotels in Daytona, but very well maintained. Bed was awesome, room was nicely appointed. Service was great, definitely four star. Met some locals who had stopped in for the evening and they said this is the best one and where they stay if they move away and then come back to visit. Its a little far from the action if your a spring breaker and might be a little to uppity for that type of clientele. We got a good deal watching the prices so we are extremely satisfied. Restaurant looked nice but out of our budget. Locals said it was the valentine/birthday restaurant of choice. Did get their lunch poolside though and that was priced decent and was good. The grounds where well maintained and setup very nicely. Liked how they had a bridge over a busy road for the self parking lot. Outdoor gas fire pits where a nice touch for a quite evening by the Ocean. All in All was extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely stay again. Others mentioned parking costs and resort fee but we knew of those costs upfront and still the overall cost was competitive with other hotels on the beach.
Cons:Towels seem to run out fast and there was a long delay for fresh ones. We had a partial ocean view with no balcony. This wasn't a problem until we go to open a window and they are screwed shut. Understand it could be a safety concern but wife was really disappointing we couldn't hear the ocean at night.

Pros:Ridiculous hidden fees, but that's not what ruined my stay. My wife and I checked in late at night and did not fall asleep until 2am. No problem though, right? I mean, checkout is at 11am so we can get our 8 hours and still checkout on time. Wrong. At 7:59am, we get a tapping on the door. We ignored it the first 3 times, but on the fourth I jumped out of bed and answered the door. A polite maid asked me if I was ready to checkout. I said "No, I'm sleeping. I thought 11am was checkout?" She said, "It is. Would you like to checkout now?" It almost seemed like a gag, but I wasn't laughing and neither was she. I shooed her away and immediately called the front desk. After being given the runaround about the manager being in a "business meeting" (really, at 8am?, the resort morning supervisor is in a meeting with who at 8am?) I was finally connected to a guy who sounded like he was talking to me at the gas pump. "What up man, what can I do for you?" I told him the story and he said "Yeah, it's just a courtesy checkout knock. No problem." No, Shores, it was a huge problem. I will never return.
