Difficult to rate because the hotel is undergoing interior renovation. Smell of plaster dust was prominent throughout - not anyone's fault. Rooms really do need renovation
We had two rooms: a king for my husband and me, and a double for our daughter. The newly redecorated rooms are well-appointed, and provide lots of storage space. The king mattress was very comfortable. The air/cooling etc. was easy to operate. Hot water was quick and plentiful. Lighting and seating were comfortable. Our room, which faced to the back, was quiet. Our daughter's room, however, faced toward the McDonald's and other businesses and was noisy all night long. The pillows were too soft--it would be nice to have a few that are not the squashy kind (minor point, really). Another minor point--the bluish cast to the hallway lighting was kind of strange. The rooms that faced toward the McDonald's was noisy--the McD's was 24 hours and played music the whole night. Pretty annoying! Our daughter's room was supposed to be a "double-double," that is: two double beds. It did not--had just one bed. Luckily no one else ended up staying with us, otherwise we would have been seriously inconvenienced.
Staff was friendly. Rooms were dirty. Bed linens were old and grungy. My feet were black from the carpet.
It was clean
The room was really clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very personable and answered all my questions. It was 3 min. From the beach and activities! Coffee was awesome. Would stay there again
