Besides the location of the main entrance, not much. The staff had no idea the city was running buses around the loop, stopping at the hotel, to bring visitors to the IndyCar Detroit Grand Prix.
Despite paying over $340 per night, the room was a closet stuffed between two larger rooms, the floor was noisy with people having arguments, fights, and drunken behavior into all hours of the morning. Not to be expected at a Crowne Plaza...a Motel 6 perhaps, but not one of IHG flagship properties.
Great place just bathrooms were too small.
The staff was wonderful.
The bathrooms in the rooms are tiny and when the sink, toilet and shower are all enclosed behind 1 door its hard for the other guests in the room to get ready, use teh toilet, shower etc.... Other hotels I have been in have the sink/counter area outside the bathroom which is a wonderful option. Wish our room had this option when 4 woman were getting ready to attend a concert.
They told us there was a queen pull-out bed. It was hardly bigger than a single size and was a foam mattress on an uneven and rock hard mattress—definitely not suitable for anyone but a small child. They almost never picked up the phone when we called down to the front desk. The furniture and rooms are very outdated and need a major renovation.
Birthday weekend getaway
I loved the view from my room. It definitely made my boyfriends birthday memorable.
I couldn't get into the work out room
2hour wait to check in. Then our hole room smelled like weed.
The entire hotel had a calming effect Very clean Staff were amazing Location was perfect
Buffet breakfast at restaurant was not very good
Great Service on a busy Downtown Weekend!
Quick valet drop-off, quick check-in, easily accomodated change of room type request, room was great. Rate was reasonable for the area.
Toilet needed some maintenance.
Great staff, great location, great hotel. Can't wait to come back.
We were in town for a show for the night and had a great corner room with an amazing view! Everyone there was very kind and helpful.
The room wouldn't go below 80 it was uncomfortable hot the entire time.
Very friendly and helpful staff!
The staff was pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everyone from the desk to the cleaning crew had smiles and suggestions. My husband and I will definitly stay here when visiting the city again!
