The owner was very friendly and helpful. As other reviewers stated, the room was quite clean and had a lovely taste to it. Close to the first gate of the Plitvice park ( about 5 minutes by car) and there is a good restaurant within walking distance. I loved the homemade jam!!! There is also a market across the street which is also convenient. Maybe a trash can in the room in addition to the one in a bathroom might have been helpful.
The location was excellent for visiting Plitvice Lakes. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and Marija was lovely and very helpful
Friendly staff, good location
The room was very nice, quiet and very clean and warm, very important in mid October. There is a good restaurant nearby as other reviews say.
The hotel was close to the Plitvicka National Park with a supermarket across the road and a good restrauant up the road. The hostest gave us complementary drinks both nights.
The room was very clean and confortable. We could use fridge and kitchen and a supermarket was in front of the hotel, so it was very covenient. We did't have car but Mr. Hodak has drove us to the national park and bus stop, we could stay very confortable. Mr. and Mrs. Hodak were always very kind. We wanted to extend our stay there but they didn't have vacacy, then, they introduced us a room in their neighbers, and allowed us to use their kitchen continously. Mrs. Hodak's omlet was also very nice!
Room had 3 twin beds that were very comfortable and clean. Owners were hospitable , helpful, friendly and we would stay there again. my mother, 85 yrs old, talked to them in croatian and zero
The host was very friendly. We booked double room, but they upgraded it to family. In double's toilets are situated across the corridor and it's strange. But in family it's in the room. There is a good pizza near the hotel. They wanted to recieve payment in euros! It was very strange, because in all other places in Croatia you can pay only in kynas. And they don't acssept credit card, so we had a little problem...
The apartment is located 5 km for Plitvice parks, was adequately furnished and is located directly opposite a supermarket which is excellent for budget travellers or backpackers. The hotel staff spoke no English and could have been friendlier and more helpful.
Nice owners, german speaking, very friendly toward the kids, possibility to prepare your own breakfast, internet access rooms in front are noisy
Warm welcome, very friendly. We received a welcome drink and had fruits in the bedroom. Nice balcony. Very generous breakfast that we could eat outside. B&b away from road but still a bit noisy
The guesthouse was immaculate, very clean and tidy and well-appointed, and set in peaceful, beautiful countryside away from the main road. The service was friendly and helpful; ensure you have cash to pay, however, as Mrs Hodak doesn't take cards. The guesthouse has a wonderful veranda where the very hearty breakfast is served and you can take a drink (bring your own) later in the day. For food in the evening, you can easily walk to a restaurant serving good Italian food on the main road. In all, the place has a lovely family atmosphere - incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse is in a village c.12k from the main entrance to the Plitvice lakes - we knew this when booking, but you do have to rely on the local buses to get to the park (these are frequent, from the main road- if travelling back from the lakes, ensure you know the village's name, as busdrivers don't necessarily speak English). Be warned - take a map of this guesthouse's location, as there are numerous 'Hodak' guesthouses in the village, and this one is set back on a side road about 0.5km from the main road. If travelling down from Zagreb on the bus, you can actually get dropped off at a stop at the guesthouse's sideroad; keep your eyes peeled though, as if you miss the stop, you'll end up at the lakes themselves, and then need bus back.
The guesthouse is situated in the hillside, 6km from the main entrance of Plitvize lakes. The surrounding is very quite, the panorama from the room is beautiful. The apartment is run by a family. They are very kind, and helpful. The breakfast is rich consisting authentic Croatian products. You can also buy home-made honey and spirits from the family. Nothing
Great welcome. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds and a good shower. Self catering feasible with plenty of utensils and a gas stove, etc (though prices in the local restaurant were so reasonable we didn't consider using them.)10 minutes by car from Plitvice national park (which is simply magnificent). Good advice on the park, when and where to go. We were in the middle of a hot spell, and our room was very warm (no air con). But then it is a guesthouse, not a 4 star hotel.
The staff is warm and friendly. This is a very cozy and family run Guest House. Room is clean and spacious.
Our hosts were so helpful & friendly, the room was modern and comfortable We stayed during a heatwave, which the hosts could not control of course but a fan in the room (ceiling or pedestal) would have mae all the difference when trying to sleep at night
The staff is friendly. You feel like at home. Excellent breakfast. Good location for the lakes
The lady running the B&B was amazing! She picked us up in her car when we couldnt find the house, she made us dinner free of charge on arrivel as we were exhausted from travelling, she did our laundry which was not expected, and in general always happy to help, and a very pleasant and friendly owner! Highly, highly recommended!
Convenient to the nearby National Park. Marina was very friendly and welcoming. Nice location in the countryside. A bit difficult to find so I recommend getting exact directions ahead of time.
A very peaseful place, away from the road therefore no noise other than natural sounds. Our host was a possitive helpful person. During our stay temprature was about 30 degrees. If the temprature gets higher air conditioning might be required
Close to nice restuarants. It is off the main road so very quiet. It would have een nice to have an English tv chanel, bbc or cnn
Lovely place, very clean and tidy. Made to feel very welcome and given cold beer, fresh orange and cake on arrival. Breakfast was excellent and we were all given a row for not eating enough! Recommend this as a place to stay.
Jelena and her family were warm and very welcoming. We really enjoyed their hospitaliyt No
Very kind hostess, pleasant home atmosfere , peaceful area.Tasty breakfast .Good kitchen facilities (shared) , nice dinning area.Excellent choice of tourist materials : maps, booklets etc. Only one : the Cocks with theirs "coo-ca-re-coo" may wake up a bit later that at 6 AM :) But if you are going to visit Plitvice Lakes , it's good alarm time - you will be one of the first , and avoid long queues in the park.
Very hospitable owner(s); nice breakfast; very pretty grounds; animals and swing set for the children. Clean and more than adequate although not luxurious. Not too far from Plitvice entrance. We would definitely recommend this "sobe."
we stayed only for one day but this one day was one of the finest day in our trip in Coratia and Slovenia. We will certailnly recommend to our freinds on your intimate hotel small uncomfortable thing is that the toillete and the bath were for the service of the 3 rooms
Jelena was delightful and so welcoming. The room and property was clean, comfortable and close to our destination so perfect all round.
The host was very nice and ready to fulfill everything we needed. A very beutifull pension in a spectaculous landscape. Nothing to complain
The staff was very friendly, the location just perfect, we loved it!
