A lovely hotel but obviously geared for the wedding business. Main restaurant food could have been better but the staff were very friendly.
No porter facility, NO change in breakfast menu, Our room not serviced each day of our 5 day stay. Location of our room too far from lifts, smell of smoke in our room coming through air conditioning.
Stayed over for 1 night for friends wedding. Room was excellent as was the spa the next day! Food v.good.
The quality and standards of the hotel and its staff for our stay was excellent
It was the location of the wedding we were attending. Breakfast selection was very poor. Scrambled eggs especially.
comfort of room and staff were very friendly
Nice room and welcoming staff
Comfortable warm friendly relaxing feeling.
So close to Dunboyne but yet it felt like there was nothing around for miles. Great place to have your wedding I felt the bar food was a little overpriced, however as we were so close to Dunboyne it meant we were not limited as to where to eat
I thought it was a great hotel, the setting was lovely and I thought the facilities in the Spa were so relaxing. I will definitely be going back
The hotel provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport which leaves every 20 minutes. If you request a wake up call, the hotel staff will call you at the required time and will then call you again 20 minutes later to enuse that you got it - Very helpful :o) Check-in and Check-out was very, very fast.
nice hotel would be base if on holiday info was wrong not hotel was noy as close as in info
Room Facilities. Ease of use re parking & airport shuttle. Only there one night
Convenient to airport and the provision of a shuttle service to the airport When I went to collect my car it was difficult but I feel this could be overcome by the hotel numbering each bay or area within the parking complex.
The courtesy of staff The promptness of my getting my room The efficiency of the shuttle bus service and the willingness of the drivers to help load/unload luggage The cleanliness and comfort of the room The one thing I intensely disliked was the €7.50 tray charge for room service, I thought it was excessive and money-grabbing. I realise there is a cost involved in providing room service, but would have thought this was probably absorbed in the room charge.
The rooms has everything that is needed for a traveller - iron, hairdryer as well as trouser press. Very comfortable beds and lots of nice towels. The restaurant is not great.
Convenient, clean, mini-bus service
Shuttle to the airport where we took bus to Dublin. Prices for food.
Great room with complimentary internet connection, great airport service I would have liked additional choices on the dinner menu. Although the food was excellent, there was no option of ordering a light meal, and no other restaurants nearby.
We loved the rooms, the service, the food and the 24 hour shuttle bus service to the Airport. It is a great place to stay before and after you fly and even for a weekend to spend in Dublin if you do not mind taking the free shuttle bus to the airport and then take a bus into the city. The food was moderate in cost but available during most of the time and until 11pm. Staff very friendly and the rooms are great, low price for the good quality compared to other hotels.
ease of access to the airport. A nice walk in the morning!
lack of clarity re being charged for Shuttle bus to the Airport
Great customer service, great food, excellent price and great location for the airport nothing
it was very convenient for an overnight stay prior to an early flight out of DUB: there was even a courtesy coach - notwithstanding that the hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk from Terminal 1 (the furthest away terminal)! nothing: this hotel was exactly what I wanted for an overnight stay
Prompt, efficient and friendly, at-table service from everyone in the bar...Fantastic and very welcome. Signage to find my room was a little confusing
i liked nothing about it. staff did not give a f!!!!!!!.. asked for a non-smoking room was given the most dreadful smelling room[smoke].only it was so late i would have gone to another hotel. i will the next time! see question 2
no much see above!!
The bed was clean. Reception staff were nice. The bathroom was not cleaned before our stay especially the toilet. The bed was lumpy and the safety chain on the door would not fit into the hook.
Proximity to the airport and value was excellent. You need a proper lift to the ground floor for guests with heavy bags.
The Professionalism and friendlessness of the staff . The Pillows are too hard have a look at premier lodge rooms. Their beds and pillows are very comfortable.
The food at the hotel is awful.
There was confusion too how many people we had in our party and had to pay an extra 30 euros and it took an extra long time to clear up the confusion after a long day of travel.
It's location was a prime factor in our decision. Phoenix Park was very close by, as was Guinness and The Old Jamison Distillery. Right near the train station and tram stop so access the further parts of thecity and country were 5 minutes away. We'd stay there again.
Location,breakfast,bedroom was nice size
Staff was helpful and excellent. Rooms were very clean. Accommodations were up to date. Triple room was somewhat cramped.
By the train station There was no plugs for hair tools and phone charging
Lighting was bad for putting on makeup
Hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Dublin. It has excellent service, very clean, and good restaurant. Although it is not close to where most of the nightlife is there is an excellent local pub 2 blocks away and it is located on the local Luas light rail line which provides quick access to most of Dublin's tourist attractions. Slightly removed from what they call City Center
We loved the room, the views, the quiet, the location. Close to the train station. The bed was so comfy! Also right near the landmark pub Nancy's Hand. The room design is outstanding! The bathroom was huge! We loved it here. There had a been some flooding from outside and it went into the hotel lobby on the day we arrived and it smelled horrible it was most likely sewer water. he smell only affected the area by the front door and the smell was gone by the time we left two days later. The hotel had professionals cleaners working on it as fast as possible. We would stay here again. The flooding was not there fault.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable room with a very nice view onto the front garden. Breakfast extravaganza. Very convenient to all Dublin attractions. We loved it. Highly recommend.
The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the sights, but is about a 10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk). We love to walk so the location was fine for us, but it felt far after a night in Temple Bar.
Breakfast was great Very clean Beautiful rooms The water pressure was really low, everything took several flushes. The surrounding area is great location wise, but at night it seems a bit rough. The hotel is very safe.
When I arrived at 10AM, there was no room ready (understandable), but when I returned in the afternoon, I was shown to a room with a worker working on scaffolding directly outside my window. The second room was fine, but I was disappointed that the clerk had initially no problem assuming he could leave us in a room where we could all wave to a worker!
the feeling of luxury, excellent service from all of the staff, reception staff were very professional as were porters bar prices are a little on the high side.. Thats dublin i suppose
1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year. I have only positive things to communicate. They can keep up the great work. Great food options, great concierge, guest services, housekeeping, food services.....blessings to you all!
Excellent staff . relaxing atmosphere. Superior service Breakfast at €29(orange juice and cereal) for a 12 yr old is way too pricey!
Nothing. I have stayed in better b&bs!!!
Breakfast was insanely good, the best part of our stay.
It was a gorgeous hotel - the breakfast was a bit pricey but it was lovely
Location is perfect but a bit overpriced for what you get. Room was a nice size and staff was very friendly. I think it is better without kids. Overpriced a bit for what you get. Had to call to have room made up after being out from 9:30-3:0 during the day... I guess someone just forgot.
The staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant.
The hotel is grand and no detail is overlooked. The breakfast was superb but still talking of the impeccable service. A perfect 10 all around.
Lovely staff, very beautiful building. There was no complimentary water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was very annoying. We have to queue to get into the restaurant for breakfast - first time I've ever had to queue in a hotel for breakfast and did not expect this from a 5 * hotel.
excellent service, excellent staff, luxurious room - Fantastic hotel.
General athnosphere, good location. friendly staff Additional cost of breakfast. Breakfast not included in booking price. Breakfast was an additional Eur20.00 per person
no critical remarks, indeed
No comment No comment
The room was clean and had all I needed. I liked having the facility to make tea and coffee in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Basic Hotel, would not deem it luxury
Hotel was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful at all times resolving a few difficulties I encountered. The bathroom fan came on continuosly during the night. I was transfered to another bedroom and hotel discounted bill by 40%.
its location and the friendly staff also the breakfast buffet was excellent the bedrooms were very hot with no way of controling temperature
The room service staff very really nice and friendly and efficient. The bathroom was not particularly clean upon arrival. Also, the reception staff were not very motivated or friendly.
The room was excellent.
The central position of the hotel and also the overall excellent quality made for a very good short break.
Comort, facilities, closeness to the centre of *everything* in Dublin Gaining access at 5:30 am was slow
the location and the rooms and the speed of check in nothing
location and comfort. continental breakfast just ok
Efficiency and friendliness of the staff; well-appointed, comfortable, clean room.
the cleanliness of the room did not get much sleep as the noise from the fan kept us awake would have expected to have been told that there was a constant noise and would be going all night very disappointed
The staff were fantastic and the location perfect for some city shopping and exlporing the city The quality of room service food to cost was not the best
Location was excellent
Pleasant environment, very nice location, friendly staff and spacious clean and luxurious room. The bed was too soft and streetnoise from nightlife
Every one of the staff members was friendly, knowledgable and well groomed as well as articulate. Someone was constantly cleaning painting polishing or vacuuming something. One afternoon the do not disturb sign was ignored and the house keeping staff tried to force the door open. Luckily there was a second lock device to prevent that. My wife had just flown in from America and landed at 7am. She went across America and then across the Atlantic, and she was understandably tired. We were trying to rest when we heard the racket at the door, startling both of us. It actually made me pretty angry, since the Do Not Disturb sign was outside. The next day they forgot the bottles of water for my room. The following day they forgot face cloths. The refrigerator was struggling to keep things barely chilled, and because of the proximity to Temple Bar, we had to sleep with the windows closed for the entire weekend. I feel the hotel charged at least 35% more than my room was worth, possibly because it was the weekend of the marathon
Hotel is very difficult when parking
This hotel is fantastic! I stayed at another 5-star hotel in Dublin on this same trip and the two don't compare. The service and accommodations were infinitely superior at The Marker- and The Marker was cheaper. An outstanding hotel and excellent value! The only 'downfall' to the hotel is the location. It's in the Docklands area, which is up and coming but is about a 15-minute walk to the more popular tourist areas such as visiting Trinity College, Grafton Street, etc.
Fantastically clean and well designed. Not a thing. we loved it.
Grand setting with fantastic gardens. The rooms smelt of smoke, even though I had a no smoking room. Which had recent cigarette burns to the curtains. Bathroom not quite up to standard (the shower was designed for short people, not even shorter!)
Had lovely food and wine in bar! Staff very friendly! We asked for 3 separate beds but I had to sleep on a roll in which would fit. Child and the mattress was poor quality!
Able to accommodate early check in request, friendly staff Tv didn't work, took 3 attempts to resolve lounge facilities were able to be booked by non-residents meaning it was very difficult to find a suitable table or seat. I was informed by the hotel that they never booked more than 50% of the sofas, this was not the case as one stage all had reserved signs on them
Breakfast Evening meal was inedible, room was run down, staff were rude
The room was by most standards extremely quiet, and the gardens provide a splendid setting.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that the room was a bit dusty and for it to sleep 3 people the needs to be more towels and tea items to facilitate as we had to contact reception. N/A
Convenient to Dublin and the accomodations were very nice for the money.
Very comfortable beds, and climate control. Warm, obliging staff who responded quickly to all requests. Good parking, free internet access, very good breakfast and easy access to public transport with quite a few bus routes. Room service was prompt and very good. Could not find a bad point to say about this hotel
The hotel was lovely and the staff were really friendly. Would love to stay again. We arrived late around 9 so the restaurant was fully book which was fine as the girl at receiption told us that the bar were serving a substancial menu, we were delight as we were straving but when we went to the bar all they were serving soup and salads had we know this we would have got room service as it had such a variety.
I liked the actual building and relaxing bar areas I didn't think it was five star standard
The welcome and the comfortable surroundings, the nice breakfast and the helpful staff. I noticed that the window in my room was very draughty - it was a windy night and there was a definite breeze blowing in. I imagine you would save money on your heating costs if you addressed it - room 207.
Nice room and bathroom, excellent location, friendly staff, efficient bussiness center Too small double-bed for a five stars hotel, overpriced breakfast
Friendly staff and peace and quiet
The location was great and the staff was very nice. For $385 per night the room was small, the bathrooms were quirky and bfast should be included...
This hotel is in a terrific Dublin location. Everything is convenient from St Stephen's Green. The hotel is luxurious and well-appointed with many nice details. I did not eat there, so cannot speak to the restaurant side of the deal. The rooms are a little small but nicely finished and the heated bathroom floor and loaner umbrellas were fabulous touches. I was amazed that the room is small - on a par with a London hotel perhaps of similar class. The only quibble I noticed was the quality of the built-in closet in my room. The doors were of poor quality material and didn't quite close accurately on their hinges. A small gripe for an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Can't beat the excellent location on St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. Staff is very professional and efficient. Rooms are nicely appointed, if a little small for two adults. Breakfast was excellent with great and friendly service. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends. Rooms are small and awkward space for two adults.
The staff and customer service was superb. We had a problem with our room and it was sorted instantly with complimentary wine and chocs, etc Try to avoid a room on the sixth floor as there is some noise from the ventilation/heating systems on the roof in the rooms
Location was great, just off the main street (Grafton). Shower pressure was amazing. Staff very attentive. Rooms are smallish when compared to the Fitzwilliam in Belfast. This might be the average room size for this type of room in Dublin.
The location and the staff were excellent. The stereo does not work with current I-Pods.
we loved our bedroom, good size and beautiful decor;also it was warm and quiet and comfortable When sitting in the restaurant there was quite a breeze coming up from the lobby and we felt cold
it was so central
The bed was perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. In the evening, I had a bath and the water was not as hot as I would have liked for a bath.
Great location. Comfortable. Great staff.
The pillows! The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. Whilst the hotel is very nice, I think that it is over-priced.
Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful, polite, and engaging. I particularly liked how they helped direct us around Dublin to the places we wanted to visit. Excellent service! Nothing!
the bed very poor selection of food, service had drop from my last stay
location internet speed staff expensive
The hotel was perfect for a short city break as it is so central. The breakfast is spectacular and the staff were so friendly. The beds in the rooms are some of the best ever as they are so comfy and have beautiful white linen on them.
Staff and location House keeping was poor. Mini bar was not restocked. I had a shower before going out for the evening, the towles were not changed. Never experienced that in any other hotel .
Great location...we walked everywhere. Restaurant was expensive and not great, plus breakfast was not included. Comfortable, clean rooms. The restaurant was expensive. Breakfast was not included in the room rate.
cosy room, good location and helpfull staff beverage and food costs
Excellent staff service Andy he hotel and restaurant. Rooms very clean and comfortable
The staff were friendly and most helpful. The hotel was quiet, and it took me just a few minutes to reach a lovely Park, and St Stephen's Green. Also, the food was delicious.
The location was pretty good. The room was clean. The entrance and lobby were dirty and dated. The staff didn't seem to care at all.
I liked the general quietness and the sense of privacy in the hotel. I also liked the staff who were very helpful and welcoming.
The central location of the hotel and car parking facilities and friendliness of the staff Slight confusement getting from the carpark into the hotel
Convenient locatoin and overall appearance of the hotel/room. Small room but manageable.
I like this Hotel and stay there often.
Decor and quality of room. Main reception was a bit officious when we first arrived. We had been delayed due to weather problems and I didnt think we got sufficient attention due to the fact it was late evening.
central location poor dining in facilities
Location was good. Bar & Restaurant were all very good although expensive - where isn't in Dublin?! Bed, although double, was a bit small and uncomfortable. Air conditioning in room did not work properly (room was freezing though we did not complain) as did guest services on the TV for one whole day so it was hard to find any information as that was where the hotel directory is.
Quiet and good location gym was very minimal, staff not overly attentive
The front desk staff were very efficient and friendly all during our stay, from check-in, having a 4 pm tea with a group of 12, and at check-out. The staff in the bar were outstanding in their cooperation to assist in setting aside and preparing a place for our afternoon group tea. Wonderful Irish friendliness.
The location of the hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to all central attractions in Dublin. The worst thing was on entering and leaving via the front enterance there was an awful smell of smoke and several people stood on the front steps smoking. Off putting.
central location; beautiful hotel the service in the hotel bar/cafe was very slow, I had to ask 2 different members of staff and both said they couldn't serve me, on locating the appropriate member of staff she was slightly unpleasant and when served the food ordered came sporadically and not all at once
easy access to grafton st poor choice menu for vegetarians
The location is perfect and the exercise room is terrific with lots of options available on a nice array of equipment. Staff are friendly and the rooms comfortable & spacious. They also had our room ready when we arrived at 7:00 AM! Very nice for the weary traveler. Overall it's a classy, comfortable and nice experience. Our room was located on an alley side of the hotel but near O'Connell St. so we had no view at all and noise from buses and vehicles in the morning.
We stay at hotels regularly in Dublin and were pleasantly surprised to find such delightful staff, lovely room and excellent service. I didn't realise the Atrium existed, a great place to meet friends either for lunch or an early evening drink.
The location The receptionist.
The quality of the room was excellent The in-room dining was not quite what I expected from the menu
Decor of the hotel, comfortable rooms and extremely comfortable pillows Nothing to dislike.
Pure luxury of rooms, friendly and efficient staff, really relaxing experience, can't wait to go back!
great comfort, great staff room a bit small
The hotel is perfect in everyway. Fabulous central location. Staff very helpful and friendly. the Mint bar and staff was great. Can't wait to return.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
the staff, very very nice an helpful i liked everything
The Friendly staff and the Hotel Location
very modern and plenty of comfortable seating areas all over the hotel building work around the hotel but it did not spoil our stay
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was superb I thought it was a little expensive given economic climate and time of year.
The staff are very friendly. Good location for shopping and the O2. The fire alarm went off at 9am!!
Very convenient location. Bright and spacious Had one disappointing food experience, but it was dealt with in a most professional manner by the manager
Comfortable walking distance from the city centre, very clean and spacious rooms. We didn't try the swimming pool thanks to the very good weather in Dublin during our stay! Very good breakfast.
The bar was welcoming, the staff were very informative and a nice atmosphere in the hotel No signage for the toilets adjoining the bar and alot of people were asking the whereabouts of the toilets
Its convience. One reception staff, even though he was very helpful and polite was wearing heavy jewelry, a dirty friendship bracelet and shirt collar buttons not closed, he just did not look the part, not professional looking, I wondered what did visitors to our country think of it. Also no Irish whole meal soda bread at breakfast only bakery yeast bread, (not the same thing) Tinned fruit was so disappointing with so much fresh fruit available, yes there was a bowl of whole fresh fruit, but some chopped up would be so much nicer. Also, suggestion, Clonakilty black & white puddings are the best, you should try them.
I liked the rooms and workout facilities and the staff were very helpful answering any questions.
Central location, friendly staff, reasonable rate. Lack of car parking facilities
Ease of Check in, staff were very helpful. Very good location
It felt like a 5star experience.
relaxed, comfortable, luxurious and calm n/a
The level of comfort and luxury of this hotel is amazing! The staff never stops to make an effort to make your stay as we said "Totally awesome!!" Nothing, it is a truly amazing hotel.
Extremely courteous and helpful staff, without exception
The service and the convenience to the City The only point I would make is that our room had a musty smell which we put down to a previous occupant being a smoker.
Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Room very comfortable and restaurant food lovely.
How relaxed one could be in the hotel and how easly one could stay there a whole weekend without leaving the hotel.
Amazing, hands down the best hotel experience I've ever had. World class staff, facilities and rooms.
The service was superb. The surroundings and the quality of the room was amazing. Coffee in the lounge with an open fire was a highlight. The airconditioning/heating was unable to be adjusted and the room was too hot. The bed was a little hard.
Everyone was so helpful. The facilities are the best. The restaurant was wonderful. We loved absolutely everything !!!!! we hope to return one day.
The staff were without exception incredibly cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful
Outstanding customer service, spacious well appointed but not pretentious interiors The swimming pool is too small and the bath in the rooms is too short.
staff where very accommodating, always willing to help. Facilities where excellent, location was ideal.
Wonderful service and beautiful decor. Lovely to be upgraded on arrival as well. Really enjoyed my very relaxing breakfast.
The incredible service and Staff Hospitality. All the staff we cam in to contact with were exceptional and made our stay a memorable occasion. Nothing
Room very big, clean, quiet. Nice location Staff were all very nice, but seemed like they needed training, particularly in the restaurant. Often no one attending the lobby, at check in, or concierge. On check out, no-one asked how was the stay, and not even to-go coffee available (which is almost standard expectation these days, even in lower quality hotels). Tried calling room service & was told they would call me back, after 10 mins I called them back to say don't bother. Breakfast is really expensive, supposed to start at 7am .. I wanted an omlette ... Was told by waitress that I needed "to ask the omlette guy" at the buffet , he didn't show up til 720am. I asked him if I could have toast with the omlette, he said "you need to ask the waitress" ... It was more Fawlty Towers than Four Seasons
Rooms were huge, staff was totally on point, the indoor pool was an unexpected benefit. Bar is busy most times, it's fun to hang out at the hotel. Location isn't ideal for tourists. It's a 30-45 walk from most major destinations, and cabs are pricey. Otherwise, stay was perfect.
I was impressed with main reception who checked with the other person I was travelling with prior to letting me into my room.He was courteous and professional and it was very reassuring that you pay this level of attention to detail.I had just come from a paintballing session in Cork and was looking a bit worse for wear :-).Staff were very welcoming.
The W.B.Yeats Suite was beautiful and very well decorated, it was luxury home from home. The Wifi was fast and free. Very good value and superb location in the Centre of Dublin City. Sound proof windows work well also. All day breakfast was excellent . Highly recommended
big and clean rooms, good location. Very limited hot water in wash basin. The rooms are located near the night club so it's noisy during the night.
The James Joyce Suite was beautiful, so well appointed and comfortable. Very pleasant and professional staff. All-day breakfast was very nice. So central for anything in Dublin City. Highly recommended . Very high standards overall and good value for your money. No, it does give what the profile says.
Location was perfect-close to everything, Well appointed room with all amenities well thought out. Staff was very friendly. Sound proof windows. Very spacious.and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The bathroom door was glass and only part was frosted which was a bit strange.
Room was fab... Amazing!! Oscar Wild Suite! Complimentary wine, biscults, chocolate & the regular tea/coffee making facilities! Very central. No staff there at any time (No foyer) - this did suit us but I could see how others might find it irritating if they needed assistance etc!
Excellent location.. brilliant interiors.. Friendly staff.. Lovely facilities..
Being in Temple Bar, noise on street till 4... Not really a hotel, just 4 suites.. And Shower not working.. Not good enough at that money!
the room was clean and pleasant. The hotel was hard to get to, gated doors etc. This hotel was also above a sex shop and managed by its workers. There was no one around to seek help. This should not be classified as a 5 star hotel. This is just a clean apartment with sex dvds available.
Excellent location, lovely suite. Really comfortable bed. Perfect
The hotel room had been well renovated and was very comfortable and accessible. I would have like cooling options like air conditioning or a fan and a few hair products.
Unable to check in until after 2pm which is unacceptable for Airport Hotel. Staff were stressed out and unwelcoming.
Convenience to Airport as I was in transit. Prompt and reliable Shuttle Transfer was great. My stay was so short (midnight checkin - 6am check-out), I could not comment.
I have been before when it was the great southern and it was nice that the bar staff were the same ones and made a great fuss of me when i went in there.
I found everything really good from the start - your reception staff were excellent. If I have any complaint it is with regard to parking charges. I feel that for each night you stay at the hotel your car parking should be free. I stayed for one night but left the car there for two nights - but was charged for three nights - seemingly you are charged from the minute you arrive and not on an overnight basis.
The close proximity to the airport and the spacious room. The kettle in the room had a rusty core.
Very comfortable room and very efficient check in and check out procedures
Great location for the airport terminal and good regular shuttle service to the airport.
the staff was nice....the shuttle to airport was great. The mattress was comfortable. There was only a duvet option on the bed....no sheet....I was too warm but only option was to take cover off duvet or turn on a/c . Plus, the air in the room felt stale and stuffy...not a good feeling. Service in the restaurant was good at first, then didn't see anybody as it got busy. Overall, it was not worth the price and woudn't stay there again on my next trip to Ireland.
Right beside the airport even in snowy weather only 10 mins door to door, also could check in on-line and get boarding pass.
Very friendly receptionist when we arrived, the waiter in the restaurant was also lovely. would have preferred a much wider bed.
The room was great. The breakfast was good. Staff took a while to bring a missing set of towels after asking 3 times
The hotel was in an excellent position The hotel room money was taken in advance, but when we arrived were asked for a credit card or 50 euros as deposit. Asked Veronica what for and she told me to cover drinks in mini bar, when we got to room there were no drinks in mini bar!! So it seemed just wanted a deposit, couldnt understand why ?? When I told her didnt pay a deposit when my husband stayed a month ago, the reply was - well rules have changed.
nothing the food was awful had to send back my meal turkey dinner the manager in fairness to him did not charge me for it the potatoes were awful not creamed the rost potato was hard and the vegg was either off or dirty i asked for a disabled room!! i got a room on the 3rd floor with no disabled bathroom or any facilities i would not recomend it for disabled people 3rd floor is not disabled and no bathroom facilities in theroom for disabled people
How relax everyone was and how friendly the staff where some rooms e.g. single could do with a make over
exellent hotel.handy for public transport busstop right outside.
We were in a newly refurbished room, very big and clean. No clock.
the room was excellent! the bed was so soft and comfortable! also the hotel staff was so helpful and very nice! it was a great experience all around!!!!
We stayed in a very comportable room, it was newly decorated and very clean, all the staff were very friendly and professional and the food was very good.
valuable price for money, longer walking distance to the city centre
I had the same room as in pictures, clean, nice, just excellent. The location is perfect. Close to the airport (20 min by bus 16a) and very close to the city center (10 min by any bus). Bus stop is next to the hotel. In the neighbourhood are Tesco, a Thai restaurant (very good and not expensive), kiosk, Croke Park. This is the best place to stay in Dublin.
Peace & quiet nothing
