10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed with super friendly service. The hotel is well well situated and our room had a view of the Mossell. The facilities are very clean and the rooms are very well equipped. Beds are very comfortable so we ad a good nights rest. We had breakfast included which was fantastic. Bread and baked goods came hot out of the oven and good variety for everyone. There are some really nice restaurants walking distance from the hotel where you can also sample some of the locl wine. We also took our dogs and the open field next to the hotel was ideal to let them wonder around for a bit.
Cons: Only stayed one night. Would have liked to stay longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view of the Moselle river from the restaurant. I enjoyed having bacon with my breakfast. A lovely modern hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bedroom! Very well soundproofed and incredibly comfortable
Cons: Difficult to find something not to like about the property: on all points, the accommodations and location were near perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant was very good, freashly prepareed. The breakfast also was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit, cooked options and local produce. It was good having a fridge in the room with wine and beer which we enjoyed on our balcony. Tea and coffee making was also welcome. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well
Cons: Nothing to not like
10.0 Excellent

Cons: I can't think of anything
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Hotel in good location for walking into Krov. Road outside can be noisy but quieter in late evening. Fab breakfast and friendly owner.
Cons: Only ate in the Restaurant one evening as dinner was disappointing, very tough chicken.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay. Well furnished room with sitting area and balcony. Comfortable bed. Tasty rolls and cake at breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Warm and friendly staff. Very quiet relaxing atmosphere in hotel. Perfect location by the Mosel. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Owners could not have been more helpful.

Stierstall-Suite Pension Wahlenau - Büchenbeuren - Building

9.4 Excellent (127 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hosts are really friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very nice, clean, good organisaid and warm room. I highly recommend this hotel and I wish to visit it again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had an early flight out of Frankfurt-Hahn and decided to stay close to the airport instead of getting the early bus from Frankfurt city - this was a good choice as we were able to get some rest. The location is roughly 5km from the airport in a little village. Very picturesque and surrounded by fields. Would have loved to walk the surrounds if we had more time. The room was very spacious and good value for money. The host was lovely and overall a very nice stay.
Cons: The room had an unpleasant smell. Not overpowering but not pleasant. Whilst it’s listed as a non-smoking room I assume smoking has caused the odour. Some air fresheners could fix the problem. Two small single beds with bed heads and footers. They were reasonably comfortable but if you are >6 feet tall you won’t be able to stretch out. If you don’t have a car take your own food as there are no restaurants or take aways in the area (I think the only restaurant within walking distance is open Thurs-Sun). We were only in the area for 1 night so didn’t hire a car. Taxis cost €15 one-way between the accommodation and airport. You will need to book a taxi in advance as there are no drivers waiting around the airport.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. The hotel is decorated so nicely! You can find everything you need in the room - kitchen supplies, tea etc. Bathroom is also completed with all the needed staff. The host was very nice - prebooked the taxi for an early morning to the airport and provied with some toys and food for the kid for free. Highly recommned the place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very calm place. We felt like we are at home. Every detail is considered. Very nice and friendly host.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was kind and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pension is situated in a beautiful area that can easily be taken advantage of by hikers. The lady was really helpful from the first moment I got there until the early morning coffee when I left. The pension is equipped with absolutely everything you can wish for so don't hesitate. As I said before I left, I'll definitely visit again whenever I have a flight from Frankfurt Hahn or I'm simply in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place for a rest, nice host. Apartment wad superior.
Cons: No cons, just it would be great to add some more sockets to charge gadgets
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a fantastic, old, beautifuly decorated house, owners are very nice and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. I definitely recommend this place.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Bed is very uncomfortable, couldn't sleep the whole night. The place smell cigarettes, someone has been smoking in this property for many years. The house owners haven't warned us that the ducks near the playground were surrounded by electric fence and there was no sign about it on the fence itself! and so our 1,5 year old son was hit by electricity. A very unpleasant stay. Never again!

Pros: Elegant hotel in heart of Mosel. Nicely decorated room, good beds and pillows give good sleep, no traffic noise. Hotel has their own wine bar with great Mosel wines. Breakfast is delicious. Owner of the hotel gives good advise of restaurants in Kröv and attractions in Mosel. We enjoyed our stay a lot!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice suite with tasty decoration. Also the rest of the hotel was nicely decorated. The man who checked us in was very helpful.
Cons: Breakfast very average with horrible coffee and poor choice. Always a shame that the matress of the bed isn't of high quality...especialy for a suite.
7.5 Good
Pros: We liked the building itself -- very pretty. The location was a plus, quite near to a street fest that was happening at that time so we had no problem to look for a place for dinner. The mosel was also within walking distance.
Cons: It was okay, but we had higher expectations for the price we paid. My bf found the reception a bit unfriendly in the beginning but was quite okay in the end. There was only one staff the whole time. I personally didn't like that the garden was unkept, but the bf found it charming. Breakfast could have been better in terms of quality and variety

The room was spacious and beautiful with picturesque view to the Mosel and the Grevenburg Castel ruins. Breakfast was excellent too, with great variety and delicious and fresh offerings. They were prepared to serve also for ones with lactose intolerance or specific diet.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly; the location on the banks of the Mosel is very nice.
Cons: The room was rather small for the price; the price indicated at the reception desk was somewhat lower than what we have payed through booking.com. Always some cooking smell in the bedroom-building.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: great for those who like to spend relaxing days in a beautiful scenery - when the new Wellness-Spa centre will be finished it will be close to perfect.
Cons: -----------
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ask for a room facing the Mosel, It is more Romantic
Cons: There should be more Road sign leading to the Hotel. It is so difficult to find.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I was upgraded to a suite and the staff were absolutely delightful. The people on reception could not have been more helpful.

Pros: I felt warmly welcome in that traditional house with a wonderful & cosy dining room and I truly enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast as well as the chats with a glass of "Moselwein" with the friendly host. My (comfort) room was very clean, cosy and spacious enough for 2. There are many walking trails through the mystic forest starting around the hotel.
Cons: That I could only stay for 3 nights!!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was fantastic.... even drove us down to town for our dinner! The hotel is a bit out of the way but makes up with its friendliness and cleanliness. Excellent breakfast.

Pros: S.A. Prim makes wonderful rieslings. Complimentary bottle of wine was excellent. Opportunity to purchase more and other wines at good value was great. Breakfast and courtyard/terrace were great.
Cons: On the last morning, unfortunately helicopters were spraying vineyards on other side of river, but they were very loud and started early. We were unlucky on that day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super place in a working winery. Very nice, large rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, picturesque and quite location just a minutes away from town. Breakfast on the terrace by Mosel river makes your day! Family Prüm, hosts and owners, made our stay just super and tasting of elegant Prüm wines with Raimund was unforgettable, one of the best we ever had.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Being at a quiet individual winery. Having the chance to meet the owner, and or the wine maker.
Cons: It is quiet and you are at an individual winery. If that is not what you want, if you want to be in a village. This is not for you
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just a wonderful place with the nicest staff and beautiful soroundings. And our dog was just as welcome as we were.
Cons: There was no real air condition, and with 40 degrees C outside you need an AC.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: lovely quiet location family run right at the shore of the Mosel overlooking its spectacular vineyards. Dog had a great time walks on the door step. Shame no decent restaurant in walking distance
Cons: shower pressure
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great Location, comfortable rooms , good breakfast. Solid wine selection. Friendly staff and owner . Clean and nice place for this money.
Cons: A bit lacking air in the room. Pillows would be nice to have more comfortable . We had to ask to change our towels .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very roomy and clean. It is a very beautiful setting with a nice breakfast and helpful staff.
Cons: My only complaint on this property is the bed coverings. I had problems sleeping each night and on the final day I realized the mattresses have plastic covers on them. I get way to hot and sweat when these types of covers are on a bed. The sheets were nice but with the plastic underneath it was very uncomfortable for me.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at the winery. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We found all staff members friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wine tasting with Saskia as well as meeting her father, Raimund. We were able to rent bicycles in town very affordably which added to our trip. You will need to drive or cycle (only a few kilometers) to a neighboring town for dinner as there are very few choices near the winery. All in all, a great place to relax!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved complimentary bottle of nice Riesling on our late arrival . Staff ( Saskia ) was very friendly and we enjoyed the local wine tasting .
6.7 Good
Pros: Extremely spacious, well appointed, comfortable rooms.
Cons: Breakfast could have had both greater variety and quantities.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was great. Being almost of the river with picturesque villages surrounding it
Cons: The owner was not very friendly and breakdowns in service (TV and Internet) were not attended to before we left.
7.0 Good
Pros: spacious, bright room, with Danish influence in design; lovely location along the Mosel river; breakfast was ok, although it could use more variety; very efficient staff; good starting point to visit around (Burg Thurant was a charming and less touristic experience).
Cons: pillows; internet access
6.0 Good
Pros: Charming little property with large rooms. Nice breakfast spread. No kettle in room but provided on request. Would stay here again if returning to area.
Cons: Internet access, and a self-serve laundry would be nice. No air-conditioning, so may not be appropriate in summer (was fine for October though).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, the location of the hotel, and the guest services
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - the quality of the fittings, the huge bed, the bathroom, the size of the room, the warmth etc etc. And the breakfast was excellent too.
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: peaceful and very beautiful location, wonderful, big rooms
Cons: no
7.2 Good
Pros: The Manager was very friendly and cheerful. The surroundings are stunning as is the building.
Cons: Could do with a few signposts around the place directing us where to go - we went to a few places before finally finding Reception via the back door. Although we had been told where to go for breakfast, again, we had to ask how to access it. Just a few clear signposts would have helped. Other than that, couldn't fault it and would highly recommend it and come back again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: very large and comfortaable room
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for a trip up the Mosel valley and the hotel was excellent. Just wish we had more time on the trip to linger.
Cons:
Romantik Jugendstilhotel Bellevue - Traben-Trarbach - Building
7
9.1 Excellent (1,005 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Romantik Jugendstilhotel Bellevue in Traben-Trarbach, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Nahe River and 7 minutes by foot from Buddha Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location on the Mosel river, we had a huge appartment in a seperate annex with a seperate room for our 4-year old boy. Good breakfast and pool. Great restaurant.
Cons: The fact that we were in the seperate annex meant we needed to walk outside a bit to get to the breakfast room and pool area but this compromise was ok since our appartment was much bigger than the more classic style rooms in the main building.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's main building is a Belle Epoque beauty. The spa area is modern and its terrace has some lovely views. The restaurant is also very nice and the food was good. Our room (a Junior Suite) was huge and comfortable and (not mentioned on the Booking.com website) the hotel actually has a free outdoor car park for its clients. The hotel was centrally located and one could book a boat trip just opposite the hotel.
Cons: The Junior Suite we booked was so different to any of the photos shown on the Booking.com website. It was incredibly bland compared to the rooms shown in the photos. The room, in a separate annex, was not too far from the hotel but the walk to the spa was a bit inconveniently long. We tried various times to book a massage but never managed to get hold of the beauty therapist during our 2 nights stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The common areas of the building are exceptional.
Cons: No air conditioning or fan on a hot day/night made sleeping uncomfortable. For the standard of the hotel and price paid, some cooling would be good. I understand it may be difficult to retrofit air conditioning in such an old building but a fan would have helped a lot. Styling of the room could be improved but I loved the building overall.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good view form the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the Mosel Staff friendly and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is great. The staff were super helpful. This hotel is directly on the Mosel River and the breakfast was a great view. The breakfast was top notch. All our questions were answered as needed, we loved the hotel and would recommend staying here.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The building is old and had lots of original features. was very interesting. The spa facility is very nice. The restaurant is also very good. We had separate small room for dinning because of our dog.
Cons: The room doesn't have air conditioning. Also facing the west and was hot when we enter the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spa area is beautiful and clean. Pool very nice but do not expect the Olimpic size. Rooms are spacious and clean. It’s well worth to take one with the Mosel view. It’s magnificent.
Cons: The whole hotel is quite scattered. The spa and the pool in one building, the restaurant in the main building and rooms in several locations. Everything is close by but going outside from-to spa is not convenient.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and spacious room. Great restaurant and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building and the spa
Cons: Different floors for spa pool and relaxing room

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very freandly owners, clean, convenient location, large rooms, great food in restaurant. Good value for money.
Cons: Everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: perfect for what it is supposed to be, night before a flight, 2 min from the airport , a good restaurant with really good quality, nice owners, zero complaints, big bed with one matraze which is not always the case in Germany with privately owned hotels, a 3rd single bed for people need it, small kitchen, big enough bathroom
Cons: nothing I can think about the only small thing is, we could not get breakfast but we really had to leave the place early, so not a complain, rather a fact
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant was great. They were very friendly and the pizza was delicious. The windows are triple glazed, so it wa very quiet, We really enjoyed staying there and will do so again.
Cons: It‘s too close to the airport to get a taxi apparently (not worth the effort for taxi drivers for the short distance) and it‘s close enough to walk, but not so easy with luggage or if the weather were bad. The hotel offered to see if one of the Shuttles would pick up, but we opted to walk, which was OK because the weather was good. But a shuttle (I think he said €10) would add to the cost of staying there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was okay to stay for 1 night before flight-good location - not so far from airport, clean and nice room.
Cons: Strange lights inside the room - little bit dark
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleaneess, very close to airport 800m!, joy and welcome of owners , all very good. We were 4 people for 1 night, but definitely whenever fly to Hahn we will go to stay there. Good immersions, good remembering - go and stay there.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Prepared coffee bag with milk for morning coffee. Kind staff who was waiting for us for more than 2 hours after closing reception.
6.8 Good
Pros: comfortable beds,good restaurant.
Cons: Cold water in the shower, there was no kitchen utencils, there was no trash bin.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean. The restaurant serves real Italian food. Definitely try the spaghetti with sea food - it is incredible. Location of the Hotel is just 7 minutes by walk from the Airport, perfect location, no need to take a taxi. I really recommend this place if you are flying to/from Hahn airpot.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The appartment was quite big, and everything was in perfect conditions.
7.3 Good
Pros: large rooms, kitchen, new hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: New fresh clean
Cons: No soap in bathroom vanity or shower
7.3 Good
Pros: This hotel was 10 minutes walk from the airport, the room was excellent.
6.0 Good
Pros: value for money.
Cons: free transfer / shuttle from the airport is preferable.
7.2 Good
Pros: Relaxed staff willing to help in any situation. Easy to get to from the airport and quiet village location but not far from the main roads. Very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. Extra helpful when a flight was seriously delayed meaning a midnight landing. Monika is a lovely lady!
Cons: As it is an aparthotel I felt that a couple of essentials were missing. For example, there was no kettle but there was a coffee maker but that needed disposable filters which were not available. However, when we asked at the bar we were given filters.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the location is very convienient for the people i was visiting
Cons: it had no tin opener..had to open a tin of soup with a knife..!! (a microwave would also be handy)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was five minutes from the airport. There was a great cafe by the hotel that we could enjoy a great breakfast, and a saloon/bar right next door that we could enjoy a drink or two without having to go far. Friendly people, extremely tidy rooms and great facilities nearby, but we recommend that you rent a car during your stay.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, apartment was very clean, spaceous, and very convient for access to the airport. Just ten minutes or less walk to the terminal.
Cons: The only think I did like about the room was that the the front window did have a curtain hanging, I am sure if I had asked one would have provide to me. The staff there was very friendly and helpfull.
Hotel Doctor Weinstube - Bernkastel-Kues - Building

9.0 Excellent (797 reviews)

5.5 Okay
Pros: It was close to the water and staff was friendly.
Cons: Rooms were too small for the amount of money we paid. No real air flow and on a noisy side street
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Characterful building great location
Cons: Breakfast was poor
6.3 Good
Cons: Very warm room and the discount ticket the hotel gave you when checking, that you had to pay 6 Euro for when checking out. It was in fact a city tax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. They ensured we had all of the information needed. The restaurant was also excellent for dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable with enough room and we slept well on the bed. The pillows were big and soft. The bathroom was also spacious. We were pleased to see a renovated room with modern style and furniture.
Cons: The only thing we did not like was the lack of air conditioning. However, it wasn't really needed with the cooler temperatures. Also, keep in mind that air conditioning is not common in Germany and especially in this region and in this type of hotel. In no way did it make the experience less enjoyable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in the great location and even with elevator. We parked by the river, hotel was 5 mins walk from there, so parking was not an issue. Breakfast was OK, we did not have a chance to try dinner.
Cons: The biggest inconvenience - Wi-Fi did not work in the room. I usually have to work in the evenings, so I had to come down to be able to connect to the Internet.
9.5 Excellent

Cons: Being told we had to leave terrace below rooms at 22:00. Hot night to go to our room so soon after dinner.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extremely unique/historical building added to the charm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very fine location in the centre of the old town. Very nice internal decoration in the reception and the restaurant. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Everything was very fine except that you have to park on the parking lot near the river (100 m and carry your luggage) and that the stairs are difficult from 4th to 5th floor.
7.0 Good
Pros: Charming old hotel in great location. Generous breakfast.
Cons: Whole town was closed down out of season (mid March). Expensive in-house restaurant. Back room facing service lane.

Pros: The location and parkingspace were good
Cons: The hotel is located on the busy road, so quite noisy all day long. The rooms were quite small, you could here everything from the next room, no air-con, basic breakfast. The staff spoke really good english, but overall the service was poir. You can do much better in some other hotel
7.0 Good
Pros: I got a very large romantic room with view. Not far from train station. Very nice. Breakfast and lunch box service,
Cons: There was no power supply near the working desk.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location is brillant and breakfasts superb!

Pros: The location of the Gästehaus is excellent. Big rooms and big bathroom. Rooms are very clean. Parking was available, although located a couple of 100 meters from the Gästehaus.
Cons: No A/C nor a fan in the room. Rooms very basic and no charm at all. Breakfast is way under "normal standard" for Germany. Breakfast bread probably from Aldi or Lidl ? Youghurt selection poor and the "fresh bananas" were brown.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: 1. Almost no noise from traffic, as the property is located on a somewhat quiet street. 2. It is very close to a public outdoor swimming pool. 3. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. 4. The bathroom is modern and very decent. 5. The breakfast was sufficient and decent for a short stay.
Cons: The floor in my room had squeaky areas, which meant I couldn't walk silently. In the night it would make a very unpleasant noise. While reading the hotel's description I mistakenly understood that there are kitchens in the rooms. In reality there's a small common area on the top floor, where you can make tea, coffee, etc. My mistake, but it's worth mentioning.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! What a great place... I’ve stayed in some great hotels over the years and this is right up there with the best. The staff, decor and rooms are excellent. The evening meal served in a lovely courtyard was superb and the locally produced wine is a must. Parking was easy behind the hotel. The breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of meats, fruit and pastries.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The large family room. The cleanliness!
Cons: The staff was not so friendly!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, nice room and bathroom. Superb breakfast with nice cheese and meats. Importantly private parking there as everything is within walking distance
Cons: Nothing It’s not a complaint but a slight warning. The restaurant is separate from the hotel but we didn’t realise that, so after the meal we went for a walk thinking it went on the room. They were really nice about it though when I paid. Having said that the meal was one of the nicest we had on holiday
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Quiet location even though close to centre of town. Nice restaurant. Good parking lot.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The lady at the reception was very helpful
Cons: They don’t provide breakfast before 8 o’clock If traveling to Hahn airport just travel from main Frankfurt city with a bus instead of spending a night in this town as there are no buses to go to Hahn airport only taxis which costs around 90 euros. It also takes hours by train to come to this city
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I like everything! Excellent location, very friendly people working there, perfect breakfast, clean room, parking facility...
Cons: I missed at least some channels on TV speaking other language than German :-) and menu in restaurant also translated at least to English. ...

5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good, the staff in the dining room were very nice. Room and balcony were lovely and safe in the room was very useful.
Cons: First impressions count and the lady who checked us in was abrupt and unhelpful, she must be related to owner to have the job. We arrived from the airport in the evening, when we asked about getting some food she said they were not serving dinner and was of no help in directing us to some place that might still be open. No interest full stop, take your room key and go away attitude. We found a Greek restaurant further along the street and talk about the difference in customer service.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb overlooking the river
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location with river view and easy to walk into town. Excellent choice at breakfast.. Helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Some street noise early morning (about 6am) as we sleep with window open. It was not a big issue.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Proprietor Ms. Ruth is a wonder. She takes care of each customer, runs the bar, oversees staff—probably everything. She solved problems, carried our bags up herself—and all with professionalism and good humor.
Cons: There was no AC, and temps were about 40 each day. Perhaps that was unusual, but sleeping was a challenge. Ruth did provide each room with a fan, but it was still rough at night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location with a beautiful view. Breakfast was good and everything was just fine. Parking was possible on the street.
Cons: Wifi could be better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, view, location, room, local restaurants.
Cons: Wifi was acceptable, but could so easily be improved
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location along the river Mosel, superb room, friendly staff and enjoyable breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were given an upgrade to a suite, which was lovely. The room also had a balcony.
Cons: We would have liked to eat in the hotel as restaurants in town were very busy on the Sunday and not many open the following night.

Pros: The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of delicious options, fresh juice and made to order eggs. The apartment was spacious and had great views.
Cons: When we arrived the apartment was all closed up and very hot. The air was not moving and the top floor was so hot we were not able to sleep there so we slept on the floor in the living room. We had to go and get another fan from the office and even then no one slept well due to the heat. It was the hottest day of the year but there was nothing done to accomodate this and we had a very difficult night. When I let the office manager know that he might want to warn the next guests or get them an extra fan he told me it was because I was American. I have actually lived in Germany for 6 years with no air conditioning and travelled extensively to third world countries where there was no aircon. I have never been so disappointed in a place. I imagine at other times of the year it is absolutely a wonderful experience to stay there but not when we did.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic modern decor in the apartment, very comfortable and well appointed kitchen (no oven). Excellent breakfast in the main hotel building - extensive buffet selections with freshly cooked eggs and waffles, homemade jams. Check-in process after hours via key lock box.
Cons: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night we stayed, so check website! Instructions for checking-in to the apartment (up the road one block) were very detailed - but all in German!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly at arrival, their English was impeccable. Room was nice a quite. Clean.
Cons: Dinner wasn’t great, but ok. Waitress took care of others prior to myself and served my salad after everyone and during my dinner. She never approached me after service, I had to go to desk to make payment.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet is spectacular!! Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh rolls, excellent coffee.
Cons: The apartment we stayed is was not co-located with restaurant /reception desk; the nearest parking lot is about 200m away
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, good food and excellent breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast buffer. Wonderful room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Lovely beer garden and restaurant even if a little pricey for the area.
Cons: Parking is a bit of an issue but was able to use the public parking by the river. Only a 100 m walk from there.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine. Nice rooms, nice hotel, good selection on the breakfast buffet.
Cons: One would expect a bit more interest in the guest when checking in. How was your trip? Reason of your visit? Would you like me to book a table in our restaurant?
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice surrounding and charming clean Place. It is open at the evening upo to late, which was good for pre Season. Good Food
Cons: Breakfast great varity but poor personell. The personell watched the guests vs giving an impression that they look after their guests. Dinner loud and stressy personell running.. Fast treatment low hospitality Wine was not getting explained

Pros: Shower was perfect. We had the junior suite which was spacious and also had a nice roof terrace. Breakfast was terrific sumptious and. delicious. Morning personel was very friendly and helpful. Also the lady at the check-out was great. The older lady was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: We are sorry to report that we were greeted upon our arrival by the missing link. The young man was unfriendly and unhelpful. He was rude and we didn’t feel welcome at all. We realise puberty is sometimes difficult but we were NOT family or friends so his manner was inexcusable. Fortunately everything else made up for this and we decided not to complain for this one-off. The accomadation is rather further away from centre village as described, more 800 to 1 kilometre. Also was the restaurant closed for the two days we were there. Not expected by us. Put it on the website!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel exceeded our expectations, the location great, very service minded staff, so helpful. The best breakfast I have had in a hotel for a long time. The hotel also runs a restaurant, well worth a visit. I really would recommend this hotel!
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome when we arrived. Parking places just outside the building. Room was cozy and medium in size. TV in the room with Netflix. Nice toiletries and a rather large bathroom with a good shower. The breakfast was good and they cooked the eggs after order. 10-15 min walk to the town center. All in all a good experience and would reccommend this hotel :)
Cons: No aircondition but there was a fan which helped alot. No elevator but they do have some rooms on the ground floor.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Family run hotel
8.3 Excellent

Cons: The only inconvenience for this otherwise excellent hotel is the lack of an elevator, particularly if your room is on the third floor.

Pros: Quiet location within walking distance of the old town. Excellent facilities and the food (breakfast in the hotel and evening meal at the Ochsen restaurant) was outstanding. Friendly staff. It was our second visit in 12 months and we would book again without hesitation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent small hotel. Owner cares alot about the experience of his clients. This is how a small hotel should be run.
Cons: Nothing, all good
