Good value for your money
Everything was as expected for the type of hotel. No issues.
Looked clean, didn't smell, super friendly staff
Door didn't lock unless you put the key in to unlock the handle and shut the door. Neighbors outside smoking so when I walked to my car I had to walk through a cloud Breakfast was horrible! Currently eating at the Waffle House next door because it was so bad!
Once was enough.
The only person that seems to have some customer service skills was the afternoon check-in gentelman. When we arrived before the official check in time, the lady at the desk was less than useless. The room was ok.
The front desk should have someone knowledgeable at all times, not just a lump sitting there until 3 o'clock. The fridge never got cold. Room was non-smoking, but still smelled like cigarettes. We had to park in the nightclub parking lot, in the front, there was no place to park by our room. The drunk woman sitting/laying in our stairwell at 8 am was disconcerting to say the least. The "complimentary" breakfast was terrible, don't stay for that, go to WaWa. Trying to get in the parking lot is confusing. We finally figured it out when we left.
I've had much better luck in the past at the Winga
Decent breakfast, room, and price.
They had lost my reservation, then took 20 minutes to find me a room. I had booked a king, they gave me a 2 bed room. Finally, they double charged me when checking out, and told me that they couldn't fix it, and that I'd have to call the manager the next day to straighten it out. Terrible coffee (very weak) at breakfast.
Nice hotel with a lot of extras
We had a corner room towards the back of the hotel and it was clean and really quiet. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool which were nice. It was a nice place to stay and super cheap. There is a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel but we did not go there. There are a couple other restaurants within walking distance that are really good.
The breakfast was awful. A breakfast buffet is included but you should skip it and hit up one of the places near by.
Staff was friendly and efficient.
The room was disgusting. It smelled like urine, appeared to have not had a through vacuuming in months and the furniture was literally falling apart. When one person takes a shower the other should grab ear plugs The pipes make a loud screeching noise. The door to our room was rusted and warped. The only thing that would open or close it was a full force shoulder slam. The air/heat unit was very, very loud. Volume on tv had to be so high to hear it that we were certain the neighbors would complain. We were so excited about the hot buffet breakfast! It was even necessary to have 'ticket' to attend. WOW! What a let down. The entire thing, with the exception of the toast you make yourself, was disgusting. We went across the street to Dunkin Doughnuts. We felt bad for the older gentleman 'preparing' the hot buffet of garbage since he expects tips. My husband tipped out of pity. So many other choices at this location. Don't make our mistake and stay here. We personally couldn't sleep on the bed it was so uncomfortable but that is an individual preference. Other's may find the bed wonderful if they can overlook everything else.
