9.4 Excellent
Pros: Who would have thought?? This previously out-dated chain has completely turned itself around. This 2014 property is absolutely beautiful and incredibly appointed. The decor and stylings were completely thought out. The rooms (we stayed in #'s 218 & 219) looked as if they came directly out of Architectural Digest.
Cons: It wasn't a bad thing, but my personal preference is a bed that is a little more cushy. This beautifully appointed large king was a bit too hard for my personal taste.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is probably less than 18 months old and you can tell they make use of modern tech for decorating and making the place comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub. Ceiling fans. I didn't get that dry mouth/sore throat that is typical of hotel room HVAC systems. Saturday's breakfast had the nicest lady who also acted as a waitress/bus boy and made salsa herself. When we go back to garden city we will be staying here again.
Cons: Our room did have a weird smell when you first walked in...maybe someone smoked in it before and even though it had been cleaned maybe some residual smell.

No issues besides lack of front desk staffing; woman working breakfast buffet did a great job restocking/keeping area clean...impressive! Pool was nice, just wished there would have been a hot tub being a newly built hotel.
Pros: New hotel on outer edge of town. Outdoor pool & sitting area is nice/comfy outdoor furniture, but no hot tub. Breakfast was fine (free/included with room rate), standard for Marriott TownePlace. Modern comfortable accomodations. No issues with internet.
Cons: Front desk clerk missing frequently, had to wait for her to show up to check-in, nobody there for check-out after waiting 5 minutes, left key & departed. Room windows had handprints all over, housekeeping could improve there.

Pros: Ladies at front desk were phenomenal
Cons: Photo indicated room with nice white comforters. Every room had these, the windows were open so I could tell, except for ours. We had the thick old flower motel 6 type. I was nirvwet happy.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing it sucked
Cons: Every thing bad smelling
4.0 OK
Pros: The location was close to where I needed to be and we were on the ground floor were I requested.
Cons: It smelled like smoke when we walked in even though it was nonsmoking. It was really very dark in the room and bathroom. There was a crack on the baseboard tile and a huge wolf spider was hanging out in the bathroom that I had to kill it. Lumpy comforters
5.0 OK

7.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and neat.
6.0 Good
Pros: It sufficed for one night
Cons: Wouldn't stay there for an extended period of time. You get what you pay for, definitely motel vibe but clean enough.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: staff
Cons: no
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room was adequately clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The beds were small but comfortable. There was a microwave and fridge in the room.
Cons: This is not a hotel, it is a motel with the rooms opening outside. This is an important distinction to me and I would not have booked this room had I known. The furnishings are very worn and dated.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Truthfully, nothing. The owner did not want me saying that it was not clean, but the bedding was not clean. I didn't even want to sleep in the bed, but had no choice. Guess you get what you pay for. Do not stay at Americas Best Value Inn, not good.
Cons: It was the 3rd worse hotel that I have ever stayed at. Although, the owner tried to be accommodating--he left me check another room right next door and the bedding seemed cleaner, but I did not want to move everything in rain. He said I could use both.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms and nice people

8.2 Excellent
Pros: This location (perhaps the whole chain) promotes their quiet rooms. I am a light sleeper so I made sure the heat/air unit was on the high fan speed. I noticed there was a semi parked on the street on the window side of my room. It was gone when my alarm went off in the morning. Since it was a cool night I'm sure the semi truck sat and idled after it was started in the morning but I did not hear a thing. I never did hear any guest room door closing...although the hotel did not have a lot of guests during my stay. The electricity did go off after an apparent close by lightening strike for about 45 minutes in the morning after I got up. I went down (I was on the 3rd floor) for breakfast. Certainly nothing special for breakfast.
Cons: In the evening i was greeted by a plate of no-bake type cookies at the check-in desk. They were not very good at all...squishy and surgery like they needed to be baked. I only had a couple for complaints. The in-room refrigerator was set to a barely cool temperature and my iced drinks quickly melted. This hotel could also use a automatic door opener and button so that when your hands and arms are full of luggage you don't have to set something down to open the door to get into the lobby.
