10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is fantastic. Environment is romantic and everything we love about relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great experience! Cute little town to explore, lots of restaurants. The Inn was beautiful and very clean, breakfast was perfect. The lady that check us in ( I think her game was Kathy, not sure) was wonderful, made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend Hotel Chateau Chamonix!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room, the fire place, the luxury details. Unlike chain hotels, multiple plugs, good lighting, luxury coffee and toiletries. Love that they don't use keys but your personal code for all doors. Very accommodating to my requests and super friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay for one night. Very warm and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and backed onto a creek. Went above and beyond to accommodate us for a great night in Georgetown.
Cons: Nothing

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, charming, restaurant
7.1 Good
Pros: In the heart of the city. Request the Colorado City room as it is updated, somewhat. Evening front desk guy was so nice and friendly!
Cons: Very old property and no new touches. Could use some TLC. Bring your own pillows as theirs were flat as a pancake.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Price and room not with generic motel furnishings. Good Location
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good
Cons: Nice
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable & the room was clean
Cons: The outdoor jacuzzi area is a MESS with cracked pieces of cement & broken chairs. Does anyone maintain this place??? If u want to use the portable, little square hot tub outside, u have to pry the metal bar back (which is over the top of it) & work to get the jacuzzi cover off...then trying to get the cover back on is an adventure, too. And the continental breakfast is a joke. They also use the old-school type of metal keys for the rooms (not electronic). For $111, I think we could’ve stayed somewhere a lot nicer.
5.0 Okay
Pros: front desk guy was ok. Pool was ok. Hot tub was small and crowded but worked
Cons: one of our chairs was broken, you have to ASK for a coffee pot and then the filters don't fit. No coat hangers, and we were paying $199 a night.Jeez!!!!!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly Manager and Staff! The best coffee we have ever had at a motel or hotel. It is a few short blocks from downtown Historic Georgetown; the walk and/or drive to downtown provided the opportunity really get the feel for the community and the history. We plan on staying here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay the night before a day of skiing. Next to restaurants with excellent food. Room was big and extremely clean. Definitely will stay again.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was wonderful.
Overview Reviews
The Americas Best Value Inn Georgetown is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Georgetown. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room has decent size, location is good.
Cons: No sound proof. The 2nd night, we spent the whole night listening to the TV sound from the rooms next to us!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Building is old and basic but the rooms were clean and the breakfast was basic but good enough for us.
Cons: The heater was loud and started and stopped all night making sleep difficult. There are no amenities, this is just a place to sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean. Price I feel was perfect for the place. Breakfast was decent. And it was right off the freeway.
Cons: We stayed 3 nights and on the last night whoever was above us must of been having a party. They were so loud. We called the front twice and then it calmed down. Apart from that I liked the place.
7.0 Good
Pros: Continental breakfast was nice. Room was very tidy and clean
Cons: It was noisy, sound from upstairs carried mightily into our room. In particular the sounds of people walking on the steps leading to upstairs rooms. If you can swing it, rent a room upstairs.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was a really good location right in the middle of Georgetown with a lot of options around in terms of food, gas, stores, etc. Also, the staff was nice and helpful. While it's a no frills out fashioned hotel room, it is never the less a good value compared to other options.
Cons: There doesn't seem to be very good sound buffers between the rooms. I could every single step the people above me were taking all night long, and they were moving around a lot. In addition, the breakfast really isn't anything great at all. Just cereal, oatmeal, muffins and beagles. So if you are looking for something more, definitely go out somewhere instead, but the good news there are several options very close by.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms are basic; no frills. The mattress in our room was amazing. Wish I had remembered to ask the brand. The continental breakfast was spot on. Only addition I'd recommend is a waffle machine.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: We did not eat the breakfast.
Cons: We had a group of men drinking and carrying on having a party until 2:00 a.m. They were all drunk and slamming doors. We will not be returning to this hotel because of this. No one did anything about it and we did not get any sleep all night.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: There was mold and peeling paint in the bathroom and bedroom
7.0 Good
Pros: Proximity to Loveland and the breakfast.
Cons: The signs talking about charging guests for damages.
3.4 Mediocre
Cons: When I arrived I pulled back the sheet to find that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. Many hairs were all over it when I called the front desk to get new sheets you would have thought I was asking for something extra. No apologies just rudeness. Next I had to phone because the shower was broken. Again they started off being exasperated with me because I was asking (very nicely btw) for a new room. I know it is a cheap hotel but this kind of treatment was truly shocking. Over all the hotel was very shabby and dirty. Maybe if I was paying $25 a night I could have understood. I would suggest any other hotel in the area
