I stayed there only one night but me and my family planed to have another trip there with our friends. It had a unique design and professional staffs.
Lovely decor, but what's better are their attentions to details. There's a happy hour every afternoon, activities, and in your room a record player and an ipod doc, for those in to retro or modern. What a great hotel!
Goodland Hotel Goleta was awesome! The staff was super accommodating and I am definitely going back again. The place was so tastefully decorated and the food at the Outpost was pretty damn good. Love it!
We arrived to find that the hotel was under construction. Not just a few discreet rooms, but the entire main lobby and a majority of the ground floor. There were construction workers everywhere. Dumpsters and trash were indiscreetly lying about the parking lot and grounds. Loud pounding, hammering, and skill saws began promptly at 8:00 am. Nowhere was it mentioned either on the hotel's website or on kayak's website that the hotel was under construction. In fact, the website stated that the hotel was "newly renovated". We visited the front desk staff, which could be found in a trailer in the hotel' sparking lot, and we're refunded $50.00 per night for the false advertising.
Liked the newly renovated rooms and decor
Didnt like that the entire property was a construction site. I think a huge discount should have been offered for vacationing at a construction site and having to check into a construction trailer. Was shocked upon arrival. The place is called hotel goleta but should be called motel goleta as it is a half renovated motel.
More motel than hotel Old, ugly, run-down Bad location Under construction
-Plenty of restaurant choices nearby -Wheelchair access to room and in bathroom -Free parking -Relatively quiet and safe area
-The cost was high for a room that felt more like a motel than a hotel room. -Beach wasn't close to hotel
