Pros: Perfect stay, Hawaiian atmosphere, excellent host, excellent location, next to the beach, Exceptionally clean, just wonderful.
Cons: It's a bit pricey considering it's a hostel.
Pros: Comfortable private room, plenty of space on the property to hang out; even with a lot of guests it never felt crowded. Plenty of clean private bathrooms, so don't be dissuaded if you are wary ...
Pros: Everything was amazing. Loved everything about our stay there. The location was beautiful.
Pros: Only front view of beach.
Cons: The bed, floor, not so clean, not modernized. primitive style of same like so many ugly, dirty inns in Goa beach, India. Bathtub water is not drained, plug is empty. Huhu! i cleaned hole of so many...
Pros: Typical backpacker experience - but nice to have such a good location and with a great little laundry room - life saving !
Cons: Hot in the rooms - but the fans made up for it, although you left them on all night.
Pros: I had a blast! it was old wood, rustic building close to the grocery store and beaches on North shore. Loved it and would return!

Pros: We stayed in a beachside room, great ocean view and breeze. Loved it. Walking to Waimea and pipeline. Awesome location. Hostel style, great deal on surfboard and bike rentals, not fancy... we loved it.
Pros: The dorm I stayed in was didn't have a/c and I didnt expect it. Linens and a pillow were provided, happily unexpected. It is right on the main road but the road is SO QUIET at night and one of the German speaking women were outspoken enough to police the conversations from other cabins nearby to ensure quiet (everyone is different...get ready to experience folks who are different from yourself). Restauants, food trucks, grocery, beaches...all nearby and cool staff.
Dude, love the no frills experience...encourages you to focus on the surf and the people...thanks!
Cons: Ha! I always seemed to be looking for the property after dark and while I was unfamiliar with the area, I would pass it five times before successfully making the turn. I might suggest a solar light to illuminate the "Backpackers" and "Plantation Village" signs...else, no suggestions.
